I came across this place after seeing The Food Stalker (from Tik Tok) and his review. I tried the Tri-Color Bow Tie pasta with chicken and I added scallops. The pasta was so fresh and extremely tasty! I could also tell that the scallops were fresh as well. The pasta was good. My only complaint was that I like a thicker sauce for my pasta. Their's is a bit more loose. All entrees come with rolls, a choice of minestrone soup or either a house or Caesar salad. I got the Caesar salad. The rolls were buttery garlicky goodness. Consider coming during the week with a big appetite. My 1st time was on a brisk Tuesday evening . We were able to get the perfect seat ( right at the window) . Our waitress was very friendly and highly versed of the menu and also what wine would pair the best with our entrees! And the food was amazing! Extremely flavorful and piping hot ! We began with a round of the best garlic rolls on this side of heaven ... lol , I ordered the chicken ravioli and my wife had a shrimp &scallop dish served with noodles ! This place is sooo good! The bread rolls they bring out are SO FLUFFY. If you like a softer roll, these are it. We also got the black pepper pappardelle and ravioli. Pappardelle slightly lacks flavor. It could use just a little more Parmesan which we got a side of to help. Ravioli was a little salty but still very good, both of the them were great still. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever eaten at. I live in New Jersey by New York and think that says a lot about their food. Went there at least three times during a two week stay in the area. Will definitely be back. I particularly enjoyed the penne rigate and salmon dishes. It seems every time we went they were pretty busy, as the locals know a good thing when they find it. I believe the chef went to the culinary institute which may explain the quality of the food. Even though it was busy we were seated relatively quickly. Mainly we were a party of two, but we were a party of three on another occasion. we will definitely go back the next time we are in the area. read more

We were in the McDonough area around dinnertime on a Saturday and had looked up some restaurants in the downtown area. This place was high on the list and was the first one we spotted. It is located less than a block off of the square and there is street parking in the immediate area. We arrived around 5:30 p.m. They have a sign that indicates you should venture further in to get seated. It wasn't 100% clear; we noted other guests later lingering around the short entry area unsure of what to do. We walked back to the bar / cashier and someone seated us. It then took a few minutes for a server to notice us, but after that things went well. We ended up getting the last available table. The dining area is not huge and I think they have spread out the tables somewhat as well. They started subsequent guests on a wait list. I'm not sure if they take reservations or not. The menu is not extensive, but covers the basics for an Italian restaurant. We both found something we wanted. I think they brought bread. I don't recall if salads were included with the entre or if we just split one. They had a small wine list. Overall, the food was good. It had a 'fresh made' quality but better than the average cook could do at home. I got a ravioli dish and they were quite large. My wife liked her dish also. I don't think we ended up with any leftovers, though. This is a solid choice if you are in the area and want a good dinner. read more

Looking for a mid point to meet my sister and brother-in-law to celebrate our parents anniversary. Definitely picked well! The place was packed at opening but the wait was worth it. We shared appetizers of calamari and bruschetta. Meals included the redfish special, veal Marsala, black pepper pappardelle and chicken angel hair pasta. Vanilla cheesecake as desert to share. Was passing through headed north of Atlanta, and wanted to miss rush hour traffic so I came here for an early dinner. This is a small quaint restaurant that looks like a house. When I walked in, I was informed to sit wherever I pleased. I picked a small table since I was dining alone. The menu wasn't overwhelming, and I wondered about specials they might have been offering. My waitress asked for my drink order and came back to ask what I was having without telling me about the specials! I had to ask about the specials and there were many! I ended up getting a special and felt let down they weren't offered until I asked. Anywho I had the grilled shrimp and scallops pasta which was made with a lobster broth, veggies and angel hair pasta! I started with a Caesar salad and warm bread! The pasta dish was massive! It's a small and cozy environment to eat in. The workers are friendly and attentive. I really liked their soup, it was flavorful and you get more than you think. I like the creamy base of the broccoli cream soup and my cousin who got the chicken cream base soup really enjoyed how good the soup was. I had gotten the black pepper pappardelle. It was good but lacked a lot of flavor. I had mixed it with some of my cousins chicken soup and it made it 10x better. The ravioli was good and flavor, but was slightly salty.
