    Curry Chicken Pie Slice
    Chinar G.

I happen to visit this place as a pit stop! The place was packed and running. Ordered slices of curry chicken pizza to experiment as it's toppings were really crazy, liked it. And the veggie pizza. But Both of the pizzas had coal beneath the crust which wasn't really a pleasant thing. Also we ordered buffalo chicken melts and that rarely had a hint of buffalo sauce taste. It was really bland like just boiled chicken & melted cheese on a hot dog bun! The ambiance was nice but that hardly made up for few of the unpleasant experiences. Forgot to take the picture of the buffalo chicken melt.

The slice is pretty big and filling. I enjoyed the Southern slice with chicken onions pineapple and jalapeño. It was well balanced and delicious. The restaurant is cozy downstairs and has additional seating upstairs. Friendly atmosphere with reasonable prices.

My family and I stopped in for a late lunch. The food was delicious, the servers were friendly, and it didn't take forever to get our orders. We also tried the wings which were also really tasty. The slices are huge and it only takes one to get full. I'd definitely recommend!

    My slice of veggie....huge!

So good! I was looking for a vegetarian option while at UGA Griffin for class. I ordered a slice of vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised by the size. The toppings were great and it tasted fantastic! This will become my regular lunch stop when I have classes in Griffin.

Pitiful excuse for a "meatlovers pizza"

Worst pizza I've ever eaten. Who gives this place such good ratings?? The "nom-noms" taste like some frozen bread from grocery store. The marinara with them- straight outta the Ragu jar, water and all!! And a large meat lovers pizza for $19, what a joke!! Hardly any meat, some pepperoni and a little sausage thrown in the middle. Couldn't identify any other meat as described, pic included so you can see for yourself. I've worked in a pizzeria, their food cost is shockingly low vs what they charge- so when they shortchange you in toppings - that's reason to never give them another chance. Picked up an order after a long drive and should've opened the box before leaving. Do yourself a favor and order a lil Caesar's or grab a frozen grocery store pizza. Had far more meat on those or any of the chain stores- for 2/3 the price. This food is terrible.

Went here with a friend while in town. I was suggesting we split a pizza, and my friend that had been here before was quick to correct me that that was unnecessary. 2 slices for $4.59 a piece left me quite full. I ordered a plum sour beer, which was very fruity. The pizzas came out quickly, and it definitely took both of us a long time to finish off that meal. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here, but it was decent pizza. It seems to be a pretty popular local spot I will say. I saw the garlic knots on another table and they seemed to be a popular order

But this Greek and Italian restaurant stood out from the rest. The murals on the walls and the green and red colors made me feel like I was in Italy on vacation. We settled in a booth, took one look at the menu, and decided we would do what we call a sampler! So we ordered a huge pizza that tasted as if it came right from Italy, but it had that New York-style taste I so love, too. The pasta was very hearty, meaty, with a light, rich sauce. I think it was a buttery type sauce. We added wings and calamari, which were just as good and flavorful. I like a lot of crispy crunch to my wings! Also, we couldn't leave without adding a dessert on the way out. I have to say the dessert display case is really something to admire. So we started with one dessert. I believe it was the tiramisu and a slice of cake that led to several more tastings and the purchase of more desserts on the way out; they were just so good! Now I have to give the staff a big thank you! We had a little one with us; she enjoyed the food, but the murals on the wall really caught her attention. She asked the staff a zillion questions, and they were so kind to her. Thank you again!

Side note: The wings are better than any other wing place in the area. They are crispy and well-seasoned. Now, the first time I dined inside, I got the Chicken Alfredo and literally ate the whole thing. I have tried the spaghetti; the meatballs are huge, and the deep red sauce is a chef's kiss. But they are known for their pizza, and rightfully so. The crust is thin and flaky, and I think this is what makes the pizza stand out here; the toppings are good, as well as the cheese. But it's their pizza dough that keeps everyone coming back. Also, it's a quiet type of atmosphere; it's not your regular loud pizza joint, and the service is the same, too.

My partner is originally from New York, I'm originally from Connecticut, and we are both very fussy about pizza. We are the kind of people who will drive an hour from Conyers just to get a pizza here, with no other errands attached. That alone should tell you everything. We usually get a huge pepperoni pie and share it. They do have slices, and the slices are excellent too, but I recommend getting the whole pie if you can. Every pizza we have had here has been picture-perfect. Perfect crust, perfect sauce, perfect cheese, properly cooked toppings, and that real New York-style balance of crispy, chewy, melty, slightly floppy, and dangerously hot. The crust has the right crisp and chew. The sauce is flavorful without being too much. The cheese has that classic low-moisture mozzarella richness, and it is seasoned beautifully before baking. That is one of those details a lot of places miss. Up north, the cheese is not just bland melted cheese sitting there doing nothing. It has flavor. It has oregano. It has seasoning. It has personality. I Love New York Pizza gets that right. The first time we went, the owner was there, the family was there, and people were speaking Italian behind the counter. Then I saw the case full of slices and immediately thought, "Okay, we are safe. We are in good hands." You can tell just by looking at the pizza that it is right. Is this the greatest New York pizza you will ever have in your life? Maybe not. Is it possibly the best New York-style pizza you are going to get in this area? Absolutely. To me, it tastes like the kind of standard, classic, universally enjoyable New York pizza you would bring someone to for their first real slice experience. We almost always dine in, and there is always enough to take leftovers home. The staff is great, the service is great, the timing is great, and the consistency is honestly impressive. We drive an hour hoping to get the same perfect pizza we had last time, and they deliver every time. I will be honest: I come here for the pizza. I do not really care for the garlic knots, and I have not been especially attached to the non-pizza items I have tried. But if you have a serious up-north pizza craving, that does not matter. Get the pizza. Get the whole pie. Let it set for a minute if you have the patience, because it comes out burning hot. Or risk it all and burn your mouth on the first bite like I sometimes do. Worth it. I Love New York Pizza is the spot. Picky Northerner approved.

It was pretty busy, but we were seated right away, so far, so good. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. Drinks (two waters and three kid cokes) took about 20 minutes to arrive, and our food came out even later. The mini garlic breadsticks and cheese bread hit the table around 6:10, and our two slices (The 1893 and the Lovin Spicy Southern) didn't show up until 6:25. For just two slices and a couple of apps, the wait felt excessive especially with kids in tow and a time crunch. The food itself was underwhelming. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out either. Definitely not the "wow" factor I was hoping for when searching for a go-to hometown pizza joint for our family Friday nights. That said, the service was friendly and the place has a local vibe I really wanted to love. I just wish the food and timing matched the warm welcome. Still on the hunt for that perfect neighborhood pizza spot.
