Ordered a Large Pan Extra Pepperoni, Extra Black Olive, Roma Tomato Pizza. Paid online, provided email address and phone number. Drove 20 minutes to restaurant, lobby closed, drive thru only. Had to wait 10 minutes to get to window. When i got there I was informed they did not have any Roma Tomatoes (There is a grocery store across the street that sells roma tomatoes, but i guess no one at Pizza Hut cares enough to go get some). If they had called me after receiving the order and making the pizza, i would have told them to cancel order and refund, but since they did not, based on a food cost of 25%, since my pizza was $20 they wasted $5 in food, all because no one at the location cares about customer service. read more

Pull up window is so awesome and convenient. However, it only works well when someone comes to the window. I sat for 10 mins watching employees (plural) walk pass the window several times. Watching them go in and out of the oven that maintains the temp that's right by the window. No one even acknowledged me waiting. Not a "give me a minute I'll be right with you" nothing just continued to wait. Finally I go inside and a young man asks if I was looking for someone? I told him I've been outside at the window waiting for 10 mins but no one has been to the window. I ordered a dinner box and some wings at 5:25pm this evening and it said my estimated delivery was 5:55pm. At 5:40pm I got a text saying my delivery was on the way. It's now almost 7:45pm and my pizza is still not here. I have spoken with 4 different people and each one says "your driver is on the way. Your pizza should be there in the next 10 minutes or so" - I understand being short staffed but this is UNACCEPTABLE! My roommate ordered two dozen boneless chicken wings and fries for $28. His mouth cannot tolerate food with heat. The sauce on the chicken had heat. He had to wash the sauce off of the chicken. The fries which he paid $5.75 for had slightly more fries than a fast food large fries. He filed a complaint with Pizza Hut. The lady he spoke to told him that Pizza Hut would likely do a refund. He hasn't heard from them. There will be no refund. I only go to Pizza Hut a few times a year myself. I never will again. I had ordered two medium pan pizzas and when my husband went to pick it up they just gave us one extra large pizza the guy at the counter commented to my husband oh it's equal to two medium pizzas . My hubby did not think much of it he did not know what I had ordered he was just simply told hey go grab our pizza so he was on sure of the situation of course when he got home I'm like why is there only one pizza and he said that's what they gave us it was late when I ordered so when I called that night nobody answered so the next day when they opened I called asked to speak to the manager she got on the phone she was very rushed and said she had some other stuff going on she would give me a call back in about 20 minutes I never received a call back so about 6:00 I tried calling the store again got the manager on the phone she said she don't remember talking to me I'm pretty sure it was the same one but she says it wasn't did she proceeds to hang up on me I call back two more times just to be hung up on the first time I call back they just put me on hold so I sit on hold for about 15 minutes and I hung up and then I called the customer service number at the corporate office we order from Pizza Hut all the time we have never had bad service or bad Pizza this is not the first incident that we had with this store in Griffin off McIntosh I say if you're in Griffin and have to order go to the one of Zebulon it's definitely worth the extra travel to avoid the frustration of dealing with a store that can't seem to get it together. The thing I like about Pizza Hut is their food is consistently good. I may not be from New York and had "real pizza" as everyone says, but I think Pizza Hut pizza is great! I dropped in yesterday evening (4th of July). It was slow, and a little short staffed as we had to wait 4 or 5 minutes to get seated while the hostess got food, rang it up and took care of a take out client first. There were lots of booths available, but the same slow hostess tried to seat us at a "fishbowl table" ( you know...the tables in the middle of the rows that people at booths stare at because they have no privacy..thus fishbowls). There were several booths open right next to them as things were not busy and we were the only customers waiting to be seated. We immediately declined the fishbowl area and asked for a booth which the hostess gave us to begrudingly. She was as friendly as a rattlesnake. However, once seated our waitress (Jeanie? Jennie?) was there quickly and HER customer service was excellent. She took our order quickly, got our drinks right out and our pizza came out piping hot and wonderful. This waitress is what saved the rating on here, along with the A++ pizza. It would have been four stars, if not for miss sour puss hostess. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. I would come back again. :) Note to file: If there are booths availabe, people don't want to sit at two wooden tables shoved together if they don't absolutely have to do so. While we understand the hostess tries to seat people in all zones so the tables are evenly distributed among the waitress for tips, that is not our problem. We are the customer. I am so glad I have yelp.com as an outlet to vent off steam. I just left Pizza Hut in Griffin and I am disappointed. Every time I have been here there is an issue. Today I ordered a pizza with wings and placed the order for pick-up (online). I was at the drive-through on time and paid the cashier. She handed me a pizza that was as dry as a bone. This happened the last time my wife and I visited, but we didn't check it until we were home, but this time we made sure to look at it. I handed the pizza back to the cashier and told her it looked horrible. She got her manager to come to the window and he would only offer to re-make the pizza. I was upset and shocked because the whole point of ordering online and paying via drive-through is to save time and get the food home. Now he is asking me to wait so they can remake this pizza, which wouldn't be an issue if he did something (anything) to try and regain the customer satisfaction that has been lost. I pulled up and let the person behind me check-out. I waited for about 10 minutes; while waiting I could hear the drivers talk about smoking weed and whatever else they were going to do for New Year's Eve. I then went inside with my cold box of wings for a refund. I waited an additional 15 minutes inside before someone asked to help me. When I told him I wanted a refund he got the manager to come up to the counter and he said he would re-cook the wings. I could not believe it... unreal. Now he is asking me to wait even longer. I got my money back and left. On the ride home, I called the store and asked for the general manager but the assistant manager was the only person working. I complained to him again and his only response was to ask if I wanted the food recooked and I could come back and get it (and pay for it). I asked him if that is the process to try to make their customers happy after they just drove 20 min, waited 25 min, and drove 20 minutes home with no food. I wasted over an hour of my life and I will not do it again with them. I would not recommend this location to anyone. The employees do not seem to care and the product which is produced is awful. UPDATE 7-14-13 My wife was tired of another pizza place and suggested we try Pizza Hut again... here is how it went today... Today I placed a pick up order and when I drove up to the window I waited about 5 minutes before I started knocking on the window and honking my horn. It took another 5 minutes for someone to come to the window even though employees were walking past and looking at me while I knocked and waited. Do not go here.... the service is horrible and half the time the food is bone-dry! I am a VEGETARIAN who every once in a while has a taste for a pizza with very LITTLE CHEESE and LIGHT SAUCE, COOKED WELL DONE....simple request right? I thought so.... Well apparently for this location, it's completely Rocket Science sprinkled in with a side of Trigonometry. I had the displeasure of ordering from them 2 weeks ago. Same request as I just stated...everywhere else, my pizza came out just as I ordered. No frills, and I left happy and content. Well well well my experience, with this joint, was the complete opposite of what I am use to....night and day!! I think the entire bag of cheese was deliberately smothered on it, along with HEAVY doses of the sauce. And lets not forget, soggy and barely cooked dough! I ordered food last night around 9:30 for my pregnant co-worker. She is one of my employees and literally had no food in the house. She lives about 25 minutes away from me so when she called to tell me she was hungry I decided to call and buy her a pizza. These screwed up people NEVER showed up with her food!!! This place is the worst in Griffin. I ordered online and was given a delivery time of 1 hour, pretty standard, well the pizza was late, called the store and the girl said my pizza had just left. I asked about a discount, mgr gets on the phone and is no help, told him not to worry about the discount and hung up, 30 mins later still no pizza, call back and the girl I spoke w earlier tells me my pizza is on the way. I usually love Pizza Hut however my experience this past time was not good. The food was delicious but that was about the only positive. The place was practically empty therefore the service should have been great. The waitress never refilled our drinks, she got our order wrong and she handed me a plate then realized it was wet and wiped my plate off with the shirt on her body. Today at the Griffin Pizza Hut by the Walmart I had the worst service first nobody greeted me and my party so after standing there 10 mins we sat ourselves then we asked the waitress 3 times for water she forgot each time so we had to ask someone else to bring it and then I ask for the ticket the male manager on duty comes over and says there card machine is down and they can keep trying every 30 mins I began to tell him about my service and he cut me off mid sentence took the card and 5 mins later the waitress brought my card back and said it went threw. I had a great experience with this Pizza Hut. I ordered delivery and my order arrived 17 minutes after I ordered it, order was entirely correct, and with all of my additional sauces I requested. It was piping hot and delicious, driver was relatively polite. No complaints. Will order from here again. No one ever tells when they have a good experience, only bad. I ordered a pizza from Griffin Pizza Hut. The total was suppose to be $25.67. When the driver arrived she had two receipts. One for $25.67 with my name on it and another for $41.70. I refused to pay the $41.70 and she called the store. She explained that it should be $25.67 and said she understood if I didn't want to sign the credit card receipt because it was wrong. She left the pizzas which were overcooked. I checked my credit card and found that I was charged the $25.67 and also charged $41.70. 17 family members getting together for a 10 year olds birthday, we called a day ahead of time to make sure there was not an issue with such a big party. Don't know where to start with the whole dining experience- Chairs were sticky and disgusting, young man brought an appetizer to the table and we asked what it was and his reply was "I don't know - I was told to bring it to the table", niece waited at least 15 min after getting chicken salad for dressing while asking every time the waitress came to the table, forks were cheap plastic (waitress said someone stole their dine in silverware), breadsticks came out after pizza when asked and confirmed that we could have them before pizza, my pizza was not correct and they told me they are redoing and I could eat the wrong one while I wait. I have ordered number of times for delivery and never had issue - would not recommend dining in - should have been aware when arriving after church on Sunday and there was only one table being occupied.
