Caesar Salad

Incredibly busy establishment with line out the door even long after we left. But the staff and kitchen were bustling and able to handle the crowd, although drink refills were a little slow due to their workload. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and accommodating and did a great job. The food was delicious and we both started with a Caesar salad. For an entree I had the Jay's Roman Orgy pizza which had the thinnest crust I'd ever experienced. The toppings were generous and flavorful. My wife had the meatballs and the marinara sauce had a great hero flavor. The noise level is pretty chaotic with the open kitchen and so many patrons. They have small highboy tables, a small bar, tables (I saw a party of ten seated), and a large covered patio.

We stumbled upon Pasta Jay's while visiting in the middle of June. It's a corner restaurant with lots of outdoor seating. Even with the Summer heat, it was so nice sitting outside and people watching. We definitely had the Pesto Pasta, I believe the other dish was the Eggplant Parmigiana. Both were very good! Im actually shocked by the Yelp reviews because I thought the food had a lot of flavor and soul to it. Maybe it was because we had finished a 5 mile hike early in the morning and had our first meal here, but the food was great! All the servers were fantastic too. We got served pretty fast, no complaints. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 would be because of the pizza. The crust was thin, and parts of it almost broke off like a chip instead of thin crust being able to mold to your NYC pizza fold

We came here while on a trip and wanted a good Italian meal in between the hikes. We were sat quickly. I would not recommend someone to stop here. The interior is cheesy and the seating was a bit tight inside The food was very okay- the pizza was very thin with little flavor, and the mushrooms on top seemed to be from a can and not fresh. The salad was strange with no dressing on top and seemingly large food items thrown on top instead of chopped up. Our waiter brought us everything we needed, but was not very friendly and even came back to the table to take our order when we had already given it.

JAY GOT DOWWWWN! His family secret sauce recipe won us over! We originally were headed to Be Spoke and saw the waiting line at Jays Pasta! We quickly found out it was the place to be. Even our ATV local company we rented from earlier in the day - we're having dinner there too! Now let's talk sauce! I am a sucker for a good flavorful sauce! This place did not disappoint... I was licking the bowl! The entire restaurant was as buzzing with people but yet they managed to get the food out quickly and always stopped by our table to check on drinks! Oooh! And I almost forgot to mention their pineapple mezcal marg was delicious! Definitely recommend this spot for local ambiance and local food!:D

Chicken Parmigiana and Alfredo Williams

The food is absolutely delicious! The service is not super great but the food makes up for it. Their garlic bread that comes with the pasta is incredible. And their chicken with their pasta is amazing. The ambiance is very cute and the seating is charming. Overall very much recommend.

Randomly stopped here after coming back from a hike at Arches and needed some carbs. Service was great and so was the food, especially for being a Saturday in a touristy town. Would recommend.

Oliver was our waiter. Good enough pizza service and environment. Nice place. Nothing spectacular.(stop gossiping amongst each other and tend to your tables) smh

What a nice experience at pasta jays! When I looked at the menu I could see right away it was American Italian and not traditional dishes but that's what made this experience special. I had the dinner salad and the green chili ravioli. All meals come with garlic bread which was great to soak up the extra sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly which isn't always easy when it is baked. Sometimes it will come out soggy. Not this pasta! It had just enough hint of that green chili. It hit the spot! Omar was my server on the patio who was friendly and attentive! I sat with my very well behaved pup in her carrier. The main road is noisy but to be expected with semi traffic and those loud off road 4x4s. If you want a more quiet experience u could ask for indoor seating. I loved it.

We came here because it was Christmas Eve day and Antica was closed. We loved it and ate way more than we were thinking we could. We had a huge salad to start. Then my husband ordered the chicken Parmesan and I had the eggplant Parmesan. Both of them were absolutely delicious and I ended up eating all my eggplant. Both of them came with a side of pasta, which was cooked perfectly al dente. Service was great and attentive! We finished the meal sharing the lemon berry cake that was surprisingly tasty and not too sweet. We didn't used the restrooms, but the place looked overall nice and clean. Great experience!

Place was very busy, but we were still able to snag a table outside. Started with a Caesar salad that was tossed with too much dressing. Had the chicken Parmesan for the entrée. Pretty average overall, wasn't a big fan of the flavor of their tomato sauce.

Baked Lorenzo

Food was very good my Dad got a pizza and he really loved it and I got the Baked Lorenzo Pasta, it is so delicious and creamy highly recommend. Service was okay we didn't get a ton of refills. The vibe of the restaurant was very cozy it is small but it doesn't feel cramped we went when it was pretty busy as well.

We went here after a long day of hiking and it hit the spot! We got the antipasto salad to start and it was filled with a bunch of toppings and was so big the plate barely fit on the table. There was a ton of meat and vegetables on it and came with enough dressing to cover it all. We also got the garlic bread with 3 dipping sauces. All 3 had unique and taste flavors. Our favorite was the Alfredo. For entrees we got the chicken parm and Alfredo. We ate it all we were so hungry. The sauces you can tell are home made (in a good way). We weren't expecting much being in a small town but this place was spot on for some good Italian food. Overall i recommend this place for anyone looking for food Italian food in moab! Only thing that was a little awkward is how tiny the tables are. Our food was coming out so fast there wasn't even enough room on our table for everything so we had to hurry up and eat.

The gnocchi was pretty good, however, some were hard. The garlic bread was pretty good. Not a bad wait time. Would come back.

Great food and ambiance, really liked the Hagan combo dish - I had the big shells, gnocchi, and Eggplant Parmesan - they were all very good.

The pizza here was amazing and exceeded our expectations! We were starving from an Arches hike so…read morefor a group of 4, we ordered the pistachio pizza, provola pizza, and meat lovers. They were a hit! Be warned: these are not personal pizzas; this can easily be shared with 2-3 people. We also got 2 salads (their mozzarella and bread on the side is delightful) and a pasta alla bolognese. But the pizza is the real star of the show here: they handmake it in front of you, put it in the woodfire oven, and serve it to you fresh.

We were pretty excited to see a Neapolitan pizza and pasta restaurant in Moab. The reviews looked…read moresolid, and from what I remembered from our last visit many years ago, there were not many pizza options in town. We ordered the Salsiccia e Funghi, a sausage and mushroom pizza, along with the mussels in white wine sauce appetizer, homemade Italian cream sodas, and one additional limonata soda. The pizza was okay, but not the quality I would expect from a polished Neapolitan-style pizza place, especially at this price point. The mussels appetizer had potential because white wine sauce is exactly the kind of dish we usually enjoy with bread. Before ordering, I specifically asked about the bread because we like having enough to sop up the broth, the way you would expect at a good Italian restaurant. Our waitress said she would bring as much bread as we wanted. There were three of us, and the appetizer came with three pieces of bread. Given the earlier conversation, we later asked for three more pieces. The request seemed to bother her. When she delivered the extra bread, sensing her frustration, we said she could add it to the bill, and she told us she already had. That was frustrating because we had just discussed it before ordering. We were attempting to be more gracious, and she missed the mark with her response. She could have said ok, or thank you, or "no it's ok I told you could have as much bread as you wanted for the mussels" The mussels themselves were also uneven. Several had not opened during cooking, which is generally a sign that they should not be served or eaten. With mussels, the usual food-safety rule is: if they do not open during cooking, do not eat them. The FDA's consumer seafood guidance says clams, mussels, and oysters should open during cooking, and the ones that do not open should be thrown out. That made us question the quality control and preparation of the dish. The cream sodas were mixed. The berry version was delicious, but the mango version missed the mark. It was not sweet at all and tasted like the mango may not have been ripe. A little simple syrup, or ripe mango, would have helped a lot. The unripe mango soda ends up tasting a little like pine sol smells. We were also disappointed because the prices were more in line with what we would expect from a higher-quality meal. For the items noted above, plus one additional limonata soda, the meal came to over $60. I typically tip over 20%, but I took the extra bread charge off the tip, and the tip was still over 17%. Overall, this was not a terrible experience, but it was disappointing compared with what we were hoping for. The food had some good ideas, but several details felt off, and the service created a communication gap that left a bad impression.

Our first night in Moab couldn't have started much better!…read more Our server, Onur, was incredibly attentive and genuinely kind throughout the meal. We arrived around 6:00 p.m., and not long after we were seated the restaurant really started filling up, so getting there a little earlier was perfect. We started with the small Greek salad, which was fresh and a great way to begin the meal. My partner ordered the flat iron steak with a baked potato, grilled zucchini, and a roll. The steak was unbelievably tender...you could cut it with a butter knife. I ordered the Zac Mac & Cheese, and it was delicious. It was loaded with fresh, crunchy bacon and fresh jalapeños throughout, giving it just the right amount of flavor and a little kick. It also came with a warm roll. Between the excellent food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere, Zax made for a fantastic first dinner in Moab. We'd definitely come back.

From the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful -- the service, the food, and the atmosphere. The entire place was decorated for Halloween, which was so cute and festive! We sat outside on the patio, which has this really cool little alleyway atmosphere. It was such a fun and unique setting for dinner. I had the Thai iced coffee, and it was nice and strong -- perfect! I ordered the beef yellow curry topped with a huge piece of tempura, and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
