It was such a great choice and I would absolutely recommend. For Appetizers- we enjoyed table break and butter, and a side order of Brussels Sprouts as an app. Additionally we had the Polpette ($10)- Three all beef meatballs, w/shaved parmigiano reggiano + toasted bread. The meatballs will be a repeat. For Dinner, we had the Veal Piccata ($33) with sautéed mushrooms and capers in a lemon white wine sauce, served with spaghetti. I would not it was not on a bed of spaghetti, more like some spaghetti tossed around with it. I had the Tortiglioni ($16) with marinara, garlic, basil, parsley & parmigiano reggiano cheese. I added their delicious housemade sausage but no clue on what that cost was but I would have to have this dish again. It was that good. We finished off our meal with a slice of the best chocolate cake I have eaten. Make sure to check out the pics. Service was good, we did have some lag time waiting for the server to come by through the meal, but overall no complaints and they were busy. The food was great. Inside was cute, tight seating but added to the ambience. The patio looked enjoyable too if you wanted to dine alfresco, or there was even a bar seating option if there is room. It was a wonderful Birthday Dinner but I would recommend for anytime. You can checkout the restaurant and their menu at https://www.giuseppesritrovo.com/

We decided to check out Osteria Pizzeria tonight since they had 1/2 off large pizzas after 6--and…read moreI'm glad we did. When we got there, the place was busy, but we lucked out and grabbed the last booth. This was actually my first time dining in. I've only had carryout before (a friend brought it over once), but just like last time... it did not disappoint. We started with salads and went with the Italian salad. It had focaccia croutons, sliced pepperoni, tomatoes, shredded cheese, all over mixed greens with a light Italian dressing on the side. Really fresh, flavorful, and a great way to kick things off. Then came the pizza. We ordered a large with ricotta, bacon, garlic, and mushrooms--and it was excellent. The crust is light, almost bread-like, baked golden brown, and paired with a lighter sauce that lets all the toppings shine. Everything worked really well together. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated--clean, comfortable, and not over the top. And shoutout to our server, Echo. She was personable, kept our drinks full, and was great to chat with throughout the meal. Overall, just a really nice experience. Good food, good service, and definitely a place I'd come back to--especially for that pizza deal.

I was able to be seated right away but noticed immediately on the way to my seat that the place is quite small and is very crowded when busy! A lot of trying to scooch out of the way and not run into chairs/servers. Once we were sat, it took a little more than 10 minutes to be greeted/get water, it was definitely busy but also was a little frustrating considering how small the place is and we could see every server lol. We ordered immediately and got the Caesar salad, bolognese tagliatelle, and numero uno pizza. The Caesar was SO GOOD (dare I say my second favorite in Columbus??)! They split it on two plates for us and it came with a lemon wedge, was so fresh and bright tasting. The bolognese was also great! Sauce was yummy, I think it could've used a little more salt, but the tagliatelle was the best part. The noodles tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly! The numero uno was also delicious! Literally the most cheese I've ever seen on a pizza, the cheese pull was insane. The ricotta also tasted like it had herbs and lemon in it which I loved! It's VERY filling and I was only able to eat 1 slice! For dessert I had an espresso and the ice cream with olive oil and sea salt. The espresso was surprisingly amazing and the I loved the ice cream, but my boyfriend was not a fan of the olive oil haha. I will definitely be back, super fun dinner for a weekend! The place is a little claustrophobic at times but the food is worth it!

Ahhh, NOSTALGIA…read more Everyone's favourite ice-cream....well, definitely not everyone but for a number of people in Columbus or Cincinnati, Ohio. Graeter's Ice-Cream was started in Cincinnati but I grew up going to Graeter's in Columbus, Ohio. I always enjoy coming back to Graeter's whenever I visit Columbus because there isn't one close by to where I live in Cleveland. ICE-CREAMS AND MALTS -- I love getting the toffee chip ice-cream which is my favourite one to get. I also love getting their Malt drinks which is ice-cream melted down with milk (I believe milk). Everything is fresh and homemade or made in-house. You can get ice-cream on a cone or in a cup. You can also buy one of their to-go ice-cream containers. TIP -- Get their loyalty card. I think after 10 punches you get a free ice-cream. TIP 2 -- Big grocery stores now sell Graeter's Ice-Cream pints (small containers) in the freezer aisle. This location in Bexley is my go-to location because I've come here for years and customer service is always friendly and attentive. Now that I've written this review, I want some Graeter's Ice-Cream.
