Ordered from northern location, first time I was very disappointed for the price we paid, I dont know if its new cooks, but definitely was not our regular great meal. Ordered the big Bob, last time it was hugh for the price, this time it looked like a kids hamburger.. the passkey special were hard and no taste, the size of the order of the cheese curds half of the last time and cold. Came all the way from California to have a taste of childhood and it did not disappoint! Great service and friendly server got us seated and ordered. Food was fresh and hot and tasted better than I remembered. As we were there the front counter and kitchen managed several phone orders, takeout, and still came around to refill drinks and get our orders correct and quick. The super here is my favorite I just can't get enough of the food. The service is fast and friendly and to the point. I went here for a quick dinner with my family. There were no cars in the drive through so we pull up to the window. There is no menu posted outside and the woman(purple hair) that opened the window was annoyed immediately that we didn't have an order ready. We take a moment to look at the menu and order 2 sandwiches with fries. That's literally it. Had a whole conversation about the second sandwiches toppings. We pay and pull to a parking spot to wait for the food. 10 minutes later we are handed a bag with one sandwich. When my husband goes inside to ask where our other sandwich was he was told he didn't order it(3 other adults in the car can attest that he did). He orders it AGAIN, pays again, and is told to wait AGAIN. He then questioned why he was charged again, the prices on the websites 'order' section were the same as what we were charged for 2 sandwiches. But he was told to pay again. He then asks if the one sandwich they handed us can be remade as we had been now waiting for 25 minutes and it was cold. We eat as a family, we ordered as a family, we would love to be served as a family. They didn't even offer to take the food back to keep it warm, reheat it, nothing. Just a total get lost attitude. All white staff and my husband is Mexican and looks like it. I don't know if it would have made a difference if I, white woman, went in to speak with them, but to me it seemed they were taking advantage of someone they thought they could pull one over on and for what?? Simply nice people serving great home made food. I do recommend this place for a delicious meal.

Pass Key's slogan is "Taste the Tradition!" which sounds inviting enough until you realize you are in Pueblo so the only real tradition is societal collapse and depression. But if that's your thing, you're sure to enjoy Pass Key. The ambiance is something out of a Cormac McCarthy novel- it's the kind of run down place where two strangers meet and discuss civil decay while at the same time understanding that one of them has to die. If your 7th grader has a science experiment, you might find Pass Key to be useful because where else but your server will you ever get to witness emphysema this up close and personal (but stay for the neck tattoos). And of course we should talk about the signature sandwich, which is like if someone said "take an Italian sausage but make it flat" and then charged $17 for it. I must admit I puzzled at the unique flavor until I realized it likely came from a combination of asbestos and nicotine patches. They also serve Pepsi products. read more

Of all the locations within the city limits, this Pass Key provides the brightest, cleanest, most pleasant ambiance! What a pleasant surprise the signature sandwich is also better here! BEST PASS KEY LOCATION IN TOWN!!! My family and I ended up eating for the first time at this location after waiting 20 minutes at the Abriendo location and never being served. The service and food here was OUTSTANDING. Furthermore, the waitress was one of the most attentive and courteous I have ever had (and I have traveled extensively worldwide). I'm in town visiting my son for a few weeks and was looking for something other than mexican. I found this little place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I got the Italian sausage sandwich with all the cheese and fries. $8.00 for half a sandwich and fries was a great deal and it was very good. I come from NE Ohio and the number of Italian restaurants is overwhelming there so I have had many sausage sandwiches in my day. This was one of the better ones I have had.
