Cute little candy and ice cream shop with plenty of flavors to choose from. Splits and malts and more available! Counter service was quick and courteous. If you don't know a flavor they will give you a tasting spoon full of it. They were rather patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted from their yumaliscious selection. The place is small but they do have a few benches on the side patio. It certainly could have used a good scrub -- so ambiance not too good. But the wait persons were sweet, helpful, and speedy with their service. The ice cream scoops are generously sized. Each one of us ate every delicious bite. One got fudge which must have been as good because there was no evidence left behind! read more

Taffy's is great. I have been going there for 8 years. Ice cream may be # 1, but they limeades and cherryades, six varieties of popcorn, 'store-bought' and homemade candy, a few baked treats, caramel apples, box chocolates. The staff is friendly and take care of you. In 2020, after being gone for 6 months, I waited in a long line outside and when I finally got in the store, they had my favorite chocolate shake sitting on the counter. My daughter took my grandsons there a month ago and they had a blast. Pay no attention to that 1 star rating. read more

I wanted to do something special with my grands, so decided to try this small local candy shop today. I have to say I was impressed! They aren't just a candy shop, but have ice cream products and popcorn as well. Some of us ordered ice cream and some ordered candy. We were all pleased with our purchases. The staff were pleasant, even though they were swamped. The chocolate covered strawberries were wonderful. And the price was very reasonable. I was expecting to pay somewhere between $15 and $20, but it was well under $10! I definitely recommend this store if you are ever in Pueblo! read more

Don't even kid yourself Puebloans, this place is greatness. Not only does it remain the same 20 years later (even longer for those before me) but it continues to bring you the local twist on old school favorites like original limeades and chocolate covered apples. You can find what you heart pleases when it comes to fresh candies, malts, milkshakes and everything else under the Pueblo sun. Please don't buy into the mass supermarkets like Walmart or Kings, buy local and seriously keep this Pueblo staple in business. read more

Was referred to Taffy's by a work colleague and SO glad I made a stop here with the family. A small candy/soda shop in historic part of Pueblo, when we arrived mid afternoon on a Saturday, a line (doesn't take much) was to the door. Was told by my friend if we get anything, get an orangeade, and what a delightful, sugar-laden delight that was. Man oh man. Friendly, probably high-school aged staff manning the shop dealt with us and everyone we saw efficiently. We kept it simple with the candy got a pounds of ribbons, as well as two boxes of popcorn, one regular and one some multi-colored concoction guaranteed to dissolve the enamel from your children's teeth; aka, its good! Worth a quick trip here, considering it's so easy to get to from I-25. read more

I remember my high school days, going to Taffy's after school with my best friend - driving the '65 Mustang, windows rolled down, talking about what flavor of snow-cone and ice cream cone we were going to get that day. Thirty years later, making a stop at Taffy's is a must for me and my girls when going to visit my parents. The place hasn't changed...it's kind of like walking back in time. Although now being 30 years older and having to be calorie-conscious, I have to decide on a snow-cone OR an ice cream cone. They have the same offering of candy that they had back in the day - my favorite being the cuboid-shaped cinnamon lollipop that lasts for a good couple of hours, and orange sticks. read more

Cute little place. It seems like it's been there for ever, and I hope it stays for years to come. It's a basic, old-skool sweet shop where you pick what you want pay by weight/piece. I can't attest to the quality of the candy as I was on a mission for soft serve. The gaggle of school children outside may suggest the confection is ok, but perhaps it's the only far in town. There soft serve was ok (maybe a B or B+), but left a weird aftertaste in my mouth all afternoon which made me wonder what weirdness I had just consumed. I enjoyed at the time, though. read more

Won't be going back for a while. Didn't really feel like they wanted me to be there. Normally I have excellent customer service at this establishment, today not so much. one employee was wearing sweat pants and the other two ladies acted like everything we asked for was too much work to do. we asked for 3 small drinks, and a refill for our popcorn. she looked like she was disgusted to be filling popcorn. one of the other ladies came out from the back and was very rude. asked in a very snobby was if "everyone got what they needed" and stormed off into the back. not to mention, my favorite part, touching the customers straw with her bare hands. :) very professional ladies. read more

Oh yeah, Taffy's is the place to go whether it's a quick fix for orangeade or something more long lasting like cinnamon bears with chocolate dipped feet. I've been going there for at least 27 years. I gauge this by the ages of my children. When they're in town, they hit Taffy's & run into old friends who now have kids of their own to share the experience with. Taffy's is a walk into the past, the old timey colored lights, the smells of popcorn and caramel apples. The caramel apples with nuts are not to be missed. Their business hours are great for someone who works, as they are also open afternoons/evenings.
