Great hidden gem. The artichoke dip was hot and delicious, the sandwiches are great as well as the margaritas.

Cute hidden jem,for three of us 35 bucks for breakfast with coffee. You will need to order at the counter the the will deliver your food to the table. Pastries and baked goods are off the chart!

So many times, I've just stopped by for a Mexican Mocha and to meet up with Jeeo friends before heading out for some wheeling. But today was a lunch stop and I was excited to stop at Coyote Coffee Den for a meal with a buddy of mine. He had the Italian Panini and I went with a breakfast burrito, smothered in green chili. Let me tell you, it was delicious! The drinks came out super fast! Today I had a Mexican Cocoa with whip. So tasty and spicy. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The food was delivered to our table quickly and hot. We decided to eat on the covered patio. Perfect choice! A warm day with a cool breeze was the perfect combination.

So glad we stopped! This place is just off the road and so worth it! Tons of parking in front and side. Service was friendly! We loved the cinnamon roll and pastry! Great flavors! We chose to sit outside and so glad we did. Gorgeous garden area. Tons of seating. They have heaters for cooler weather. Next time we're out that way- we'll stop again.

This is a nice gem on the side of the road that you wouldn't expect. The great outdoor seating, hanging lights, and small vineyard come together to make a great atmosphere. The staff is friendly and felt like a small town vibe. As for the food, some was great while others were good. The potato salad was as good of a potato salad as you're going to ever get. The sandwiches were good but not amazing. Specifically the vegi deli sandwhich bread was falling apart as we were eating it. My panini was great however and I heard their apple cider is worth the visit alone.

Okay, there really is no need to review this place- they have a 4.8 rating. Breakfast was absolutely the best in the region. Nothing we have found is even close. My breakfast burrito smothered in green chili made me dizzy. Nice texture, flavor and heat. The staff are great social folks and detailed. The coffee (Mexican mocha) was spot on perfect. Clean and not overcrowded seating area. Nice sound system- not too loud. Also, accessibility for wheel chairs inside. Parking lot is not great for wheelchairs. Plenty of parking. Finally. The pastries will ruin your life. The bear claw, spinach feta croissant, cream cheese and raspberry pastry are also the best in the Pueblo, Cañon city area. They sell out quickly. I absolutely promise you that you will not be disappointed. Finally finally - breakfast burrito smothered; breakfast sandwich, three pastries to go; two 16 ounce specialty coffees all for $39.66!!!

First time here and I want to say, I was very happy and I am not a coffee person. I got the brown sugar cinnamon vanilla latte with white chocolate which sosomeone recommend and I was delicious. I also got their carrots cake which was perfect not to sweet at all. The location is very beautiful and clean, people there are nice. I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out.

I was looking for a local breakfast restaurant on our way to Salida and came across this little gem on Yelp. Great reviews and it did not disappoint. My bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit was huge. They had a small pumpkin patch, veggie gardens that they use in the food they prepare, grapevines, and flowers galore.

This was incredible! My boyfriend and I stopped when leaving Colorado after a recommendation from our Airbnb host. Get the croissants if you go! I picked up extra to bring on the road with us after loving our meals. The cashier was super friendly. Their patio is beautiful and it was an excellent day to sit outside. Didn't get any photos of the food but love this planter idea!

We were in Victor to see the troll (but happened to come on the Donkey Derby Days in Cripple…read moreCreek), so we needed somewhere easy to eat, 1899 Saloon was it. It is truly a bar (saloon) that has some food. It was REALLY busy the Saturday we were in with all 6 tables full and 80% of the barstools filled. The one waitress worked her butt off! Their menu is on a chalkboard at the front of the place to the right when you walk in - I tell you this because it is the only menu in the place and if the very busy waitress or another patron doesn't let you know you will set forever waiting for a menu. Easy menu, basically burgers, chicken fingers and a variety of appetizers (fries, onion rings and other fried goodness). I would say they could make it easier on themselves with paper menus in a plastic holder on the table for the food and beer, but they seem to like their way. I opted for the green chile burger and onion rings, my hubby wanted the burner burger minus the onions, but apparently you can't ask to hold an ingredient so he had to order it as a build your own (seemed way harder, but it was their policy). Things to know - lettuce, tomato and onion was extra and you have to ask for it - totally missed that on the bottom of the chalkboard. Burgers had a great flavor and the onion rings were perfect. We also got a couple Goose Island IPAs (they had several things on tap, but no beer menu and the waitress was really busy and I knew the goose neck tap was goose island so I made it easy). Parking is street side and even on a busy Saturday there was plenty. Pay at the register up front (by the menu). Solid place.

Their cinnamon rolls make the ones at DIA a joke. The Juevos Rancheros were amazing. Just the right amount of heat and plenty of everything. I had a side of biscuits and gravy that was outstanding! Came in about 11:30 and they gave us the breakfast menu. I was planning on ordering from that, so that was fine, but I would have expected to get both the breakfast and lunch menus. I could have asked for it, but still annoying. The only reason I knew they were serving lunch is that I heard someone else order french fries. Anyway, they only have natural sodas - which aren't my thing - so I ordered water. Luckily I sipped it as they literally only asked if we wanted refills after we were done eating. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Skillet, which had potatoes, the chicken fried steak itself, country gravy, toast and eggs. The food came out in less than 10 minutes, which in itself seemed odd. Anyway, the food: Eggs: I took one bite and barely choked it down. They were thin and dry and had a weird texture. Toast: You can't mess up toast, but it came with a tiny thing of grape jelly (barf) Chicken Fried Steak: Rather than give you a full steak like you would expect, they chopped it up into very tiny bits. I didn't count, but felt like I had less than 10 tiny bites of steak. What I got tasted okay I guess. Potatoes: About half the potatoes were very hard and undercooked. Some of the pieces were okay but after eating a few of the harder ones I just gave up on them. Gravy: The gravy was the best part of the skillet, honestly. Rich in flavor and actually warm. Service was meh. I had to wave her down to check out - after she'd walked by our table several times. We won't be back. The food wasn't worth the price, especially when you leave still hungry.
