I want to preface this review by saying that I do not have a refined coffee taste. The truth is that we attempted to go Peregrine and Sugarlump and they were both closed. This seemed to be our forced option, but it turned into a very pleasant surprise. The vibe was great. It was completely empty when we got there. The owner was so kind and incredibly efficient even though a large group came in all at once. She even reminded us to call our moms in honor of Mother's Day. The music isn't too loud, there's a good amount of seating, and there are fun little games you can play if you aren't reading or working. I ordered an Iced Coffee with cream, vanilla, and cinnamon, an everything bagel with cream cheese, and a blueberry muffin. I am unsure if anything was freshly baked in house, but I enjoyed each item that I received. To be fair, I ordered three items that I normally love to eat/drink, but this shop did not let me down with my classics. If you're ever in Westcliffe, give this place a try. (They're open on Sunday when others are not which was so clutch for us). read more

Stopped by for a brewed coffee, cheese danish and white chocolate raspberry mocha. The raspberry mocha and dainish were both good, however the danish would have been better if warmed. The have customer parking in the back of store, a couple outside tables, and friendly staff. read more

First coffee spot open in town so I headed there for a vanilla latte. Service is very friendly and chipper even at 6:30 am on a Saturday. My latte tasted perfect. I didn't get pastries but they had a lot. My order was to go but this is definitely a good place to hang out and stick around if needed. read more

What a cute little coffee shop in Westcliffe! The barista was super friendly and efficient, probably the quickest we've ever got drinks before at a local shop. I loved the dirty chai, not too sweet or rich. The chocolate chip cookie was fresh, buttery, crispy and double chocolatey yum!! highly recommend. read more

I love the location of this coffee shop. It sits right on Main Street of Westcliffe. It's an old house that has been converted to a coffee shop. Again, I love when a business takes an old building or old house and makes great use of it. Old houses are ideal for coffee shops. When I visited this weekend they were only taking orders at the side window of their establishment. Unfortunately, their main room was closed for business. The young lady who took my order was friendly and smiled often. She also made sure I had plenty of cream for my coffee. I ordered a 20 ounce drip brew coffee with cream. I also ordered an Apple fritter. She offered to warm it up for me. They accept credit cards here. It's a very seamless process similar to most merchants. The coffee was okay but not great. They do not roast their coffee in Westcliffe or on site at their coffee shop. I was told their coffee beans are from Guatemala. I've wrote this before in other reviews of coffee shops, that there are so many good coffees around these days so it's challenging to give a great rating. I was more impressed with customer service and the building itself. Wish I could've hung around inside while sipping my coffee rather than take it away back to my air b&b. Overall, I feel that this place is worth checking out. Hopefully when you go there will be an opportunity to sit inside and enjoy your coffee. I will check this place out again when I return to Westcliffe again soon! read more

A week in Westcliffe made finding a coffee shop goal # 1. We not only found a coffee shop, but a delicious bakery and a super yummy smoothie place. I'm pretty sure after our week ended, they knew my vehicle pulling up. With 7 of us squeezed in a car, we kept this little shop busy. Adorable, great prices, delicious, fresh, addictive. It doesn't look like much when you walk passed, it's something that could be easily overlooked, but it's so cute! There's limited staff working Inside, so things may take a little longer but they are definitely worth the wait. We had black coffee and I had a latte, and we walked away with their espresso beans & everything was great. (Especially freshly ground beans when we went camping over the weekend!) I'm from Wisconsin and usually visit Denver when I go to Colorado, but I would definitely recommend this shop if you're traveling through! read more

"Free country." The coffee house operator was free (on 12/22) to not wear a mask, or be very friendly, when we entered the small contained space. He was making a smoothie for a young, also unmasked customer. And we were free to turn around and walk out of what felt an unsafe scenario.
