    Blueberry Turnover
    Foo D.

The smell of this bakery was calling my name. And of course making the decision of what to get takes precision because it all looked good. I chose the blueberry turnover and so happy I did, my husband went with the brownie which was moist and tasty, back to the turnover, it had layers of flaky, fluffy dough lots of sweet blueberries dusted with powdered sugar..... I'm sure I'll be dreaming of this turnover. Service was good. We ended going next door for our coffee which was a great choice for our desserts

What a great locally owned business! We met the owners daughter the night before after asking for great breakfast spots around Canon City. Loved hopping right over to Florence to this unique Cafe that is filled with other locally owned business owners making the cafe homing. It is truly one of a kind. The quiche was delicious and we even left with a lemon bar for the road that wasn't overly sweet which was perfect for us!

Local restaurants are the best! We found this place on a weekend away from Colorado Springs in Florence. Bakery is amazing!!!! Quiches were very good and a good cup of coffee served in mugs you might have in your home. The other thing I love about this establishment, is selling local artists pieces. This is truly a business for the community. Would recommend and visit again!

just meant to do dessert, but decided lunch was in order, and wow! two of our party ordered the southwestern chicken, so tender with delicous bread! 2 ordered cream of mushroom soup, YUM! desserts and coffee excellent ending for our meal! brought home some cracked wheat sesame seed bread. I'm a baker and this bread was perfection!

We had a chocolate chunk muffin and a bacon egg and cheese croissant. They were incredible. Very nice staff as well.

The service is slow and the chicken salad on a croissant was tasteless. Others at the table enjoyed their lunch.

Sandwich was terrible. When I told the cashier she didn't offer a refund which was disappointing. The desserts were tasty though.

Delicious pastries. Flakey and fresh. Definitely worth the stop. We had coffee and the Blueberry Cheese Pockets.

We shared a veggie burger with side salad and potato bacon soup in a bread bowl. Both were pretty solidly delicious!

Wow, so we haven't been to Two Sisters since they moved to Penrose. We decided to give them a shot…read moreas we were looking for something new to add to our rotation. Came in about 11:30 and they gave us the breakfast menu. I was planning on ordering from that, so that was fine, but I would have expected to get both the breakfast and lunch menus. I could have asked for it, but still annoying. The only reason I knew they were serving lunch is that I heard someone else order french fries. Anyway, they only have natural sodas - which aren't my thing - so I ordered water. Luckily I sipped it as they literally only asked if we wanted refills after we were done eating. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Skillet, which had potatoes, the chicken fried steak itself, country gravy, toast and eggs. The food came out in less than 10 minutes, which in itself seemed odd. Anyway, the food: Eggs: I took one bite and barely choked it down. They were thin and dry and had a weird texture. Toast: You can't mess up toast, but it came with a tiny thing of grape jelly (barf) Chicken Fried Steak: Rather than give you a full steak like you would expect, they chopped it up into very tiny bits. I didn't count, but felt like I had less than 10 tiny bites of steak. What I got tasted okay I guess. Potatoes: About half the potatoes were very hard and undercooked. Some of the pieces were okay but after eating a few of the harder ones I just gave up on them. Gravy: The gravy was the best part of the skillet, honestly. Rich in flavor and actually warm. Service was meh. I had to wave her down to check out - after she'd walked by our table several times. We won't be back. The food wasn't worth the price, especially when you leave still hungry.

Pulled into the parking lot and electric vehicle chargers were like towers of hope for the power-deprived traveler. The menu looked limited. Was there for lunch. Breakfast menu looks extensive and good. Ordered a burger and turkey club and iced tea. Overall it's great. There were so many people with dogs or multiple dogs that sitting peacefully in the exterior seating area wasn't that peaceful as bickering alpha dogs tried to act dominant by whelping and arguing with each other. Wasn't a fan of the barking and screeching and loudness that lasted the entirety of the meal while observing the dog owners either oblivious to the mayhem or ignoring it while swiping on their janky iPhones. I won't dock points in this review due to the dog drama. It is what it is. Salida is a wicked dog-friendly town. I will return for breakfast. You should also. You'll be glad you did.

You order at the register and they bring the food to your table. My husband had the Short Rib Melt and said it was wonderful. I had the Caprese Sandwich and it was also very tasty. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Be sure to visit the restroom and read the walls - you'll leave with a smile! We will be back the next time we're in town. Went back this morning for breakfast. The breakfast menu has many items to choose from. Food was good. Typical fare for breakfast with some twists. Husband had 2 egg breakfast- all good. I had biscuits and sausage gravy and eggs but the sausage was green chile and the biscuits were cheddar-garlic. I didn't love this twist, honestly- cheddar biscuits yes but the garlic was not great for a breakfast dish. (I think my mind registered the biscuits as cheddar-chile when I read the menu- those would have been better with sausage gravy.). I will have the pancakes or French toast next time! But otherwise, great fresh food that comes out hot and nice people.
