I stopped here for a quick on the go doppio one early morning on the way from Taos to get home in Denver. Convenient location (easy access on the Main Street). Once you get what you need, you ca be off to your destination in the matter of a few to several minutes as it's close to I-25. The young lady upfront who assisted me was very welcoming and sweet. Her pleasantness was probably the best thing I got out of the visit. As I stated, what I needed was an iced doppio and possibly a little bite to eat. Whereas they may make great craft beverages, the selection of the pastries was very limited. I wanted something savory but there was literally nothing for me to choose out of what they had (they all looked not-so-fresh sweet pastries. Not sure if they rotate the baked goods.) The shop is kind of cute inside. And it's not only a coffee shop but also a souvenir shop (or specialty retail shop to be exact.) I didn't bother to look at any of the retail items as I was in a hurry to get home. I read others' reviews and one of them said that the shop doesn't have any tables/chairs to sit down and sip your beverage. It's true; I don't remember seeing any. The same person went onto say that they don't have wifi so no work on your laptop is an option. In all technicality, this is a place to shop for retail stuff and grab a cup of coffee and off you go type place. If that still suits you then stop here. read more

Cute shop in downtown area but found the coffee to be lacking a bit. I'll admit that my husband and I are coffee snobs, so this just didn't quite live up to our expectations. Upon first entering it seems nice, BUT it's WAY WAY over priced, no internet, you can order coffee but there is no where to sit. I met the owner, she was rude and overbearing. I would not recommend this place. There is an alternative coffee shop in town at the Mercantile, that place I do recommend, free Wi-Fi and plenty of places to sit and enjoy your coffee read more

Just an awesome place. Owner Stefane is super cool and nice. Espresso was on point and a life saver. Pastries were yummy; the almond bear claw was a clear winner. Coffee is good. Had to wait 10 min for barista to finish telling a story to a customer that she knew, before being attended. I'm giving one extra star for the coffee and one extra star for the story she told, for a total of 3 stars. We stopped at Serendipity while driving from the Great Sand Dunes National Park to Colorado Springs. We didn't really Yelp, so we went in without any expectations. We saw a hoarding on the street saying "Coffee Shop", and we decided to stop the car and go in. Serendipity is part coffee-shop, part bakery, part retail-store. It is unlike anything I have seen before. They have a beautiful collection of collectibles and souvenirs. They sell really well barista-ed coffees, and you can ask them to mix their already unique flavors. You can get brownies, danishes, muffins, and other confectionaries. They also sell t-shirts, fridge-magnets, decorative art pieces, and whole bunch of other things. Highly recommended! read more

We were looking for coffee on a road trip from Denver to the Great Sand Dunes Natl Park and this was the only option for miles. Stopped in to find a beautiful, warm and inviting storefront. We were greeted by Heather as soon s we walked through the door and felt right at home! Excellent coffee, baked goods, and sandwiches. It was so good we circled back the next day!!! Just don't lean you bike on the wall of the title company a few doors down, the crazy title company lady came out and yelled at us;) must be a tough day in the title world... Stopped in at this place on our way from Taos to Denver, and the coffee was good! The barista was very friendly, and they have lots of knick-knacks for sale and seating available. Only knocking them down one star because their sandwiches were pre-made and looked soggy in the fridge, and the place does feel a little cluttered. But if you sit by the large front window, there is lots of comfortable seating! Will definitely stop in again if I'm ever in the area. read more
