Really neat place with tasty food! Great spot to let the kiddos stretch their legs and run around on the large patio. We had to dry some gubberpuffs which were delicious. Our chicken sandwich was pretty good too and our son enjoyed his cheese pizza! read more

Good food, atmosphere and service. They also make fresh handmade bagels and have ice cream and milk shakes. Seating indoors and outdoors with games to play outside for kids and/or adults. Coke products and a bar inside. Cute set up. I'd recommend this place for pizza in the area. read more

Stopped in Walsenburg this past weekend to check out Gub Gub's. The Chile Burger pizza was delicious as was the garlic cheese bread. Definitely a great pizza worth having again and a menu with more intriguing options. It is a counter-service restaurant so no actual waiter or waitress but the staff is friendly and efficient. When we did need anything (to-go box) it was easy to ask for help and even with no wait staff we were checked on twice. The decor is very cool with the old gas station theme and a retro vibe. I do not get to Walsenburg often but may have to make a trip over just to stop by from time to time. read more

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! We ordered a pizza & a Stromboli & both were delicious! We didn't go at all busy time, so delivery of our food was timely. The IPA beer was great, too. Then we had a waffle cone with soft serve ice cream to top it off that was large & yummy. We brought a lot home, even some of the ice cream. read more

Omg this was an amazing stop and well worth it!!!! We were on our way thru Walsenburg and had heard of this new place. We were towing a trailer and had to park a few blocks away and walk but that's okay! Perfect pizza! This place has their pizza oven dialed in! Pizza had nice crisp bottom crust, but still chewy and not over cooked! Just the right amount of cornmeal. Fresh toppings and Good cheese stretch too! Highly recommend you stop and enjoy read more

Finally stopped here after passing through several times. Did not disappoint. Sausage bites were on point; highly recommended. BBQ chicken pizza was great. Friendly staff, clean, and quick service. Music doesn't quite match the vibe there; might be my only recommendation for change. Would stop here again, 100% read more

If you are rushing to the mountains or heading back home, don't miss this place in Walsenberg, CO--great pizza with a variety of beverages and Ice cream for dessert. We had the Rancher Roundup pizza. The service was simple, with no real above-and-beyond effort, but that was what was needed for this type of restaurant. The corner retrofitted gas station adds nostalgia to the great food. There is outside or inside dining. read more

I grew up in Walsenburg. Been gone for several decades, but like to come back to visit and see old friends. I was wonderfully surprised by Gub Gub's. It's located in what was Correnti's old Standard gas station at Main Street and US-160. I stopped in and I loved everything about the place! The food was exceptional! Beyond delicious. Fantastic Pizza! Loved what they did with all the seating. I chose to eat outside. Just a fun place to get great food and they did a magnificent job repurposing an old gas station. A great addition to "The Burg!" read more

Deliciously thin and crispy pizza. The Everything Gubberpuffs were tasty too and the leftovers were perfect for snacking later. Nice how they repurposed what seemed like an old car repair shop/garage, it's a cool aesthetic! read more

This is such good pizza. We divide our time between Kansas City, where we have a lot of good choices for good pizza, and Cuchara. Beautiful place but not a lot of great choices for good food. We pass through Walsenburg on the way and this is some of the best pizza I've had. Great ambience in a former gas station, too. Also good soft serve ice cream. Don't miss it! read more

The menu was very easy to read and understand. The staff was very kind and held conversation. The food was delicious.

Great location in Walsenburg. The restaurant is beautifully curated. The owners really leaned into the 50s garage decor but it's done so well you feel like you've stepped into a magazine. The smell of fresh dough hits you before you even open the door. Once inside you're greeted by a smiling face from a welcoming counter attendant. So rare now days to have the best of all three, food, service and ambiance. Chatted with the owners after our meal. Very sweet local couple. This place does not disappoint. If you're trying to decide between this or KFC. Do your self a flavor and eat something delicious from Gub Gub's. read more

Situated in an old gas station, you enter the door where the office once was. Menu is posted above. You order then move to the dining room and order your beverage. The tap list is a little thin but they have a moderate selection of canned beers. Employees were very polite. We had a supreme pizza and it was pretty good. While waiting for the pizza we looked at all the gas station related objects on the walls. The lights over the bar area were in old oil cans. Very cool! read more

This place is adorable. Stopped by here on our way from Texas to Denver and couldn't have picked a better pit stop. Super friendly, attentive staff make ordering easy and they're quick to help with any request. Started with the gubberpuffs, which were slathered in delicious garlic butter and served with a tasty side of marinara. Opted for the supreme pizza, subbing in jalapeños for the olives, and it was equally delicious. The place itself is clearly an old gas station of garage and is decked out with all sorts of awesome knickknacks. The huge, pet friendly, patio has tons of seating and the cornhole boards are an extra nice touch. 10/10 would be back!!! read more

I sat at the bar waiting for any kind of acknowledgment for 10 minutes before leaving. A young girl around the age of 12 was asking out loud for anyone to bring her a drink after her the pizza had been brought the table and has been sitting there for sometime. It was kind of comical but she was clearly trying to point out the absolute lack of service. I left shorty thereafter. The food may be great but the management and employees don't give an eff. I guess they figure they're the only biz in town so you'll have to deal with it if you want anything. Horrible attitude to have. read more

Great atmosphere, play area for the kids, great pizza, good service. Good to see you guys catch you next time.

What an adorable place to dine I had a slice of pizza that was very good and my husband had a chicken Sammie sandwich and the bread was out of this world they make it right there It was an old gas station on main street and they renovated it into this cafe with indoor seating and outdoor seating you can bring your kids there is a playground area and bring your dog too read more

Are you looking for the best spot to eat in Walsenburg? Well you found it. This place is AMAZING. My friends and I came by on our way back to Denver. They have options for everyone. Our vegan folks, gluten free peeps, meat eaters, and those who just want to grab a drink. Everything was 10/10. Food, service, and atmosphere. We sat with gorgeous misters and we played a game of corn hole! Definitely the spot to stop by for good food and a grand time. read more

I have driven through Walsenburg countless times and never even thought to stop for food. But I will be going back to Walsenburg just to eat here and will be stopping next time I'm passing through on my way to Denver. The food was really fresh and flavorful. Really good crust and the pepperonis are amazing. The soft serve is on the sweeter side with like a marshmallowy taste. The syrups for the milkshakes are all made in house and the raspberry was great! The wings were alright, very meaty and saucy, but I prefer mine crispier. Everyone was very friendly and super helpful. The dining area is a bit cramped indoors but lots of outdoor seating in the courtyard area. I have been recommending this place to everyone I know since eating here this past weekend. Please check them out! read more
