So far we have been waiting for about 45 minutes for our order to get to the table. I would like to get to bed before midnight.

Domino's Pizza - Chicken parm. Sandwich

    Domino's Pizza

The Domino's team in Trinidad tries to help and get your pizza correct…read more As for the Domino's app, that is another story. It tries to add extra items to your order or change your order when you are using it. There are times it won't use the coupon. I have reported the app several times, but it still has problems. Thank goodness the people working here are willing to help out and offer support!

The service was horrible!!!!!!!!!. I have to rate this low because of what happened…read more I went to order lunch for our 7 retail store locations. I called 7 different Domino's store locations for delivery. Every store was great except for Trinidad. I started with CS, then Denver, Cortez, 2 in Pueblo, Gunnison, and lastly Trinidad. Well, when I got to Trinidad, the person who answered the phone was not friendly, was very blunt, did not help when I asked questions, did not do his best, and did not give me any discounts or use coupons. Mind you, I am in Pueblo, so I told him I needed to pay now, and he said I cannot. I said WOW, I just called 6 other Domino locations, and I prepaid them, said I have to call in the morning. No, I did not call back; I did one better: I told my daughter. You ask why my daughter is/was a GM for Domino's. She is awesome, she knows what she is doing, and she is very good at it. She had another Domino's location calling her to fix their store. She said the guy didn't want to do his job. She proceeded to put my order through online. So Wednesday came, and lunch was being delivered to the stores. The Trinidad GM called me and said she got 2 pizza deliveries, mind you I only paid for 1. The Domino's store should have called me before placing the order, since I told the guy I was paying with a card. and in Pueblo, not Trinidad, and he never called me. Lesson learned, one should be polite, listen to what your customer is saying, and be helpful.

A total surprise in Trinidad which I always wanted to visit. Been through on the Amtrak many times…read morePretty large mountain town with a lot to do and an art scene and what pops up is the Italian deli! Been around about 30 years and from what I learned Trinidad and surrounding farms have a good sized Italian population. Not surprised. Had a nice conversation with the owner and her daughter about their Chicago relatives they barely know snd those I know with the same surname Monteleone. As for the good it was good. I'm spoiled and used to neighborhood homemade and other specialities in Chicago so I'm picky but I have to say the special SW Hatch Chili Italian sausage patty sandwich was right on time and pretty large. It's a nice take on their SW New Mexico heritage. Their owner was nice to. A sweeter but spicy sauce. A great contrast. They have all the standard neighborhood imported specialties for sale. Saw a few return tourists drop in while bead there. On a side note, if you're in Trinidad looking fir breakfast you best get in any place that might be open before 11am or you got nothing coming. These folks stop the eggs and bacon on the dot! I missed out at three places before I fortunately made it into Monteleone's deli for a bite. I'm still stuffed at 830 pm. I will be in Trinidad again and will stop in.

Good selection for such a small town…read more This deli has a lot of the items you may not see in a bigger city deli. It is full of locally produced meats and cheeses that you would find in specialty stores. I purchased some of the spicy peperoni and mixed olives. Sandwiches are good too. Unfortunately, the fresh goat cheese was not in season, but they have quite the selection. A bit pricy, however, this is a small operation and they different economies of scale than the big players. When in town, I will always buy my deli products here.
