This was a long anticipated visit. I have had this placed hyped up to me and let's just say it still exceeded expectations. I initially tried the Thunderbolt. To my observation it's Fresca and espresso, which is a very interesting combo. I have a friend that has a "I tried the Thunderbolt at Peregrine" pin and I was told it was the most popular drink so I had to try it. I did not like it, but I did not anticipate liking it. It was just to say that I tried it. The drink is got for real was a an Iced Latte with Maple, Brown Sugar, and Vanilla (the "Waffle" latte). It was sublime. I loved it. The four people working in that coffee shop absolutely KILLED it. They were probably the most efficient staff I've ever seen within the context. It was an incredible experience. The merch is awesome, they sell a huge variety of coffee, and for a small town it's a nice quaint shop with indoor and outdoor sitting. read more

Lavender latte was DREAMY! Real life lavender! No gross fake syrup. My husband got one of the seasonal drinks which was beyond delicious. We got a cinnamon roll and whoopie pie for the kids (of which I took a mommy tax ) so I can attest to the top tier quality of the baked goods. The barista was lovely and kind despite her shop closing in 5 mins. Three people came in after us and she knew them all by name. Loved that. Do yourself a favor and buy a bag of coffee grounds for home. Probably some of the best coffee I've ever had. Inside vibe was adorable with an ample seating nook in the back of the shop. I went in and the gentleman said I was going to have the best chai. I smiled politely and enjoyed his confidence but I was pretty sure the best chai wasn't in Westclifffe CO. I was dead wrong. LOVE this place!!! Craft coffee that is oh so delicious!!! They make all of their syrups in house and have almond and oat milk as options. They have coffee for sale and adorable handmade wallets, they also have t-shirts and cookies available. There is nice seating in the back and outdoors if you would want to hang out.
