The best chocolate covered nuts I've ever had. All of their handmade confections that I've tried have been amazing.

Whenever I come down to this area I am always looking for something sweat and delicious from one of…read morethe local bakeries. I happened to come across this place and I was happy I did. My daughter got the macarons and I got a lemon cookie and a peppermint chocolate cake. My daughter said the macarons were delicious and my cookie and cake were good. The lemon cookie was not particularly lemony or sweet but had a sugary topping that helped out with the flavor. The peppermint cake had just the right amount of peppermint but the chocolate part seemed a little dry but not enough to ruin the chocolatey goodness. They also make homemade bread which looked delicious. All in all the place holds a certain charm and everyone was nice and pleasant and very helpful behind the counter. I would be back to try there other treats and do recommend this place to anyone having a sugar craving

My friend got the Pike peak brownie, the love at first bite chocolate cupcake and the carrot cake. Everything I've had so far is delicious!! Even the lavender macaron was really really good. The lemon cookie wasn't too sweet or very lemony but had the right amount of tart. I would definitely get more of the macarons and that cookie. The lemon cupcake was not as loved as the other two. The center of the cupcake had a big splash of lemony goodness but it tasted artificial. The whipped cream was a little too much for me. I think I would eat this cupcake without the cream topping. The cupcake itself could also do with more lemon than it had. My friend loved her brownie and carrot cake but did not like the chocolate brownie. I will definitely be back for more macarons and that lemon cookie!

I am rarely this far south so am unfamiliar with the bakery options around town; Bite Me was one of the closest, highest rated spots right near the hotel I was staying in. The photos and vibe looked really great based on others' reviews, so I decided to stop in late on a Saturday not to get my sugar fix lol. The atmosphere is fun, and the mish mash of sweets, games, and a downstairs bar I think is super unique and also makes this place more appealing for people that want to bring kids around earlier in the day. Despite going late (I think it was around 8?), the arcade was pretty full of people, which was a great sign. The bakery case and menu is at the back, and there was one very sweet girl (no pun intended lol) running the counter. Even for the time, there were lots of options that all looked like they were pretty good and not obviously stale or old from the day which I really appreciated. There is also ice cream and a refrigerator case of goodies in addition to what's shown here, as well as various beverages you can purchase. I decided to splurge on a cherry cupcake, a cheesecake cookie with cherries, and a brookie. The total was around $12 or so, which was pretty reasonable. I took my treats back to the hotel to enjoy them while watching a show, and they were all delicious! Definitely satisfied my craving for something sweet after a long day. I think this place would be very fun for a date night or a small family outing during the day, presuming it's isn't busy inside as it seems like it can easily feel crowded. Parking is available on the street and may be a bit of a challenge depending on the day and time you stop in, but the downtown area is pretty walkable and more parking accommodations can be found further away. Stop in if you get a chance! I probably will next time I'm in town.

I absolutely loved the scotch eggs! I skipped the Reuben bombs since I'm not a big Swiss cheese fan, but everyone else at the table really enjoyed them. I ordered the Jameson meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies, and it was amazing -- full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My husband and son both got the fish and chips and couldn't stop talking about how good they were. My daughter loved the kids hamburger, especially the potato chips/fries that came with it. The atmosphere was awesome, the service was top notch, and my husband and I both enjoyed a refreshing beer with lunch. We had such a hard time deciding what to order because so many things on the menu looked great, so we'll definitely be back to try more items. Highly recommend!

I don't think there was anything wrong with the cook of the food, but the seasonings were just way off base to me. The Corned Beef was slathered with a Mustard Crème sauce that should have been served on the side. Some may like it, others will hate it. I didn't care for it. Cabbage seemed to be braised in a heavy Cayenne Pepper broth. It was inedible. The Champs were so bland that you had to shake the hell put of the Salt and Pepper. The Corned Beef without the Mustard sauce was actually pretty good, but so much was slathered with the mustard sauce that it just isn't worth ordering. Bottom line, here is how it breaks down: Service: 5/5. The bartender tonight was exceptional! Food: 3/5 at best due to the second entree ordered (fish & chips) being REALLY GOOD. Overall: 4-5*. The Fish & Chips saved this entire meal. There are a number of things to order from the menu at the bar. Obviously I would stay away from the CB, but I would definitely recommend the fish and chips! When I come back to Pueblo, I would definitely consider coming back here.

Since we hadn't been here in five years, I mentioned to our waiter how much I was craving a bowl, and he went out of his way to make it happen. That level of service alone made the visit memorable. I also ordered the Velvet Smoke mezcal cocktail, and wow, it was exceptional. Smooth, perfectly balanced, and not too strong. The smoky notes were present but not overpowering, and the nixta slate liqueurs, or heat and bitters brought everything together beautifully. Great service, great drinks, and a team that's willing to go the extra mile. Definitely worth the stop.

I particularly enjoyed the restricted gates down by the washrooms. Our server was friendly and attentive but the restaurant seemed slightly short staffed. A great selection of beers. Our food was very good. I was surprised at how salty the bun was on my veggie burger sandwich but it was still salty in a good way. The food took longer than average to come out, and that's the reason for the 4 out of 5 stars. We waited over 30 minutes for the food, and it didn't seem particularly busy, though the server seemed to be covering a lot of acreage with tables both inside and outside under her responsibility. She still did a great job, though. I look forward to stopping in again the next time we're passing through town.

When I initially called…read morethey said, there is no need for a reservation because it's a weekday but I'm glad I made one because it got busy fast a few minutes after we were sat down! The menu is not extensive by any standards. There isn't anything super spicy either. But they have a fair bit of choices. We started with the house tray for the tapas and the crostinis with a garlic bisque entree to share among the 3 of us. Our main entrees included the Bisteak, the Lobero and the Fieri with a side of Al Eti fries to share and the Caesar salad. On the house tray, we loved the tomatoes and the peppers stuff with cream cheese. That was super delicious! The crostinis were of 4 different varieties - hummus with olive, bruschetta, Pueblo chilli's with cheese and a cherry compote with cheese. Our favorite was the bruschetta followed by the hummus and olive. We were told that the Pueblo chili one would have a kick, but it did not. The sweet cherry compote one was interesting esp with the feta, but it felt too sweet, so won't order that next time. The garlic bisque is delicious, esp with the bread. If having for one person, go with the side of you want any space for more food. The entree is good to share among 2-3 people. For the entrees, the portion size is HUGE! I loved my Lobero which had mushrooms, chillis, caramelized onion and aioli. It was very tasty. The Bisteak was similar to a Philly cheese steak but without the cheese. It was also very good. The Fieri was a little disappointing as the pork was quite chewy and it was bland. The fries were delicious but I do wish the oil had been all over the fries and not just in the bottom. The salad was tasty. We didn't have desert but we did have a glass of Albarino white wine from a Spanish winery. Close to a chardonnay and didn't really have much of a buzz which I appreciated. All in all, cute, oldish place. Their servers are nice but may need to work on their ability to identify dishes correctly. Price is decent but not cheap for sure. Will be back to try more of the entrees and tapas!
