I had a nice dinner from Pasquale's, or King Pasquale's as their website says. We ordered takeout on a weekday and it was ready within around 20 minutes. The chicken parm sub was pretty standard, and the fries were okay. The caprese salad was amazing! It used high quality fresh ingredients, and everything was dressed in olive oil and seasoning. It came with a side of balsamic dressing which again was great. I'm not sure why it there was a layer of lettuce on the bottom but I can overlook it! I'm not sure that I would want to sit inside- the seating was right by the register and pick up for delivery. But it was a solid takeout option. read more

Pasquale's is rated lower than I think it deserves! Is it fancy Italian food? definitely not, but they have some solid menu items and the service has been great every time I've been there. The folks serving there are so nice! The spot is cute and simple so great for eating in as well as picking up. Regarding the food their pastas honestly give restaurant depot vibes, they're not bad, just nothing to write home about. Now this is what you need to order there! This restaurant is mediocre at best. The salads that came with the meal were fresh but the dressings were served in squeezable containers. Very odd. The raviolis were OK but the egg plant Parmesan looked good which my guest had for lunch. It was also a very good portion. Service was generally good. The soft drinks were not served in glasses instead in fountain cups. Also very odd. In general I will not go back here since it didn't knock my socks off. This makes me really sad to write because my husband and I really did love their food prior to recently. Is there new management? I know there was a name change...Tonight was the icing on the cake and we will not be returning. We ordered food at 6:30 through a third party site that told us it was about an hour for delivery. Fine. About fifteen minutes later it changed to an hour and a half. Okay. Not great but stuff happens. After an hour and 40 minutes I called. Oh it's made we just don't have drivers. (Umm...) If the reviews I'm reading from tonight are true, that wasn't the case, but whatever. I hung up, asked my husband if he wanted to cancel, and he told me yes so I called to cancel and surprise my food was out for delivery! Asked to speak to a manager who told me if I hadn't wanted to wait and/or pay the delivery fee and driver tip (30% of my order) I could have just come in and picked it up myself. Anyway, we did get our food. Mine was warm (I'm honestly surprised) but my husband's was lukewarm and not appealing. I tried it, it had definitely been sitting out, the cheese had gotten weird and the sauce was cold. I don't have the energy to call again and deal with the obviously overworked staff, we just won't be getting food here again. The manager on duty asked me what she could have done differently: Call people if orders are going to be this late. Offer cancellation or credits. Stop using third party sites if it means approximate times aren't going to work. Don't blatantly lie to customers about timing and food preparation. Pause ordering if it's going to take 2 hours to get food out. And change your sauce back. Aside from being cold, husband said it was gross tasting. read more

We stopped at Pasquale's on the way home after a long trip to West Virginia. We were really hungry and the serving sizes definitely satisfied our hunger. The food is surely the main focus of this place as it should be. The beefsteak sandwich was HUGE and very tasty! The gyro was so perfectly seasoned - and again it was huge! The prices are reasonable. The service was good. If you're hungry and nearby, certainly stop by. The atmosphere and dining room are NOT the reasons to come to this place. It is all about the food! read more

Came for dinner on a Friday. The place was nicely decorated for Christmas and our waitress was nice. That's about all the good I can share from our experience. We ordered a pizza and the crab soup special. The pizza crust and sauce were devoid of any flavor. If you opened a can of tomato sauce, smeared it on a bread-like crust, and used bulk shredded mozzarella I believe you could replicate the pizza. As for the cream of crab soup, I really struggled to find any crab and at $14 a bowl (it was a 'special' so the price was not posted); it was disappointing twice: first when I ate it, then when I got the bill. If used, wouldnt they have taken it, or marked remaining balance if entire amount wasnt used? It has a number on it and someone's signature. She is not back until after the new year, so I asked for her to contact me asap. Employees contacted her twice within a 5 minute period while I was there. But she has yet to contact me. Went here today and ordered the 8" sub special today. My son ordered a bacon and cheese sub. No problem. I ordered BLT and they couldn't accommodate. The special said any 8" sub. The owner turned her register screen around and said they didn't have an option for that. So how did my son get a bacon sub but I couldn't get a BLT? The difference was the lettuce and tomato. We've been loyal customers since the New Market location opened. In general the food is consistently good. However, there is a recent and noticeable decline in service (kindness) and value. My husband stopped in tonight to pick up a grinder and salad. The total was $29.00. My husband commented to the employee at the counter about how his order was unexpectedly more expensive than he anticipated. She responded 'well, the prices are going up again next week'-nice response showing no regard for my husband's comment. Sadly, this will no longer be our go-to Friday night eating option. Large Improvement! Over the years Pasquales has always had good food, and decent dining experience. However, the overall quality has greatly improved. The kitchen is well staffed and food comes out in a timely manner. The pizza is classic, a good alternative to fast food slices. Inside is a wide array of seating, with plenty of tables, and even an outdoor section. The menu is bigger than expected and has many delicious choices! A fully decorated interior with functional air conditioning. Perfect for small town dining. read more

I'm new to the area and was hesitant to order from here because the restaurant is a Pasquale's/Kings. I've have had horrible experiences with the Kings in Brunswick, MD. I was disappointed with my order. I ordered a medium sized 1 topping pizza and a tossed salad. First, it was some change short of $29.00. The salad was absolutely horrible. A cheap tin container packed with iceberg lettuce and the majority of the lettuce was the white heart parts. The rest of the ingredients were placed on top. A ton of sliced red onion a couple tomatoes and a scant amount of cucumber. It was missing the black olives and had 3 horrible tasting green olives on it. The pizza was okay, but certainly over priced and on the greasy side. This will be the last time that a Kings franchise gets my business. They also charge $15.00 for a veggie sub, which is a complete ripoff Considering the small size compared to Firehouse subs. I gave it 2 stars because my order was ready on time. read more

How has Pasquale's not had a review? We moved to the Mt. Airy area in the fall and this restaurant has been in our sites for awhile them. But a fundraiser night for the local high school convinced is to give it a try. Good experience and we have been back several times since. Customer service is 5 stars and good protocols for pickup orders. We are looking forward to nice weather to check out the patio area. The only reason for 4 stars is just the pasta preferences. Flavors are good, but they tend to be heavy of the sauce so I suggest asking for light sauce because it is really rich. Great pizza crust and good gluten free options too! read more

Visited last week with my family and ordered standard fare. One of the dishes came out completely different than what the traditional dish was supposed to be and not all of the ingredients were cooked thoroughly. When the matter was brought to the attention of the manager, she chose to argue the issue with us rather than simply replace the dish. While the dish was somewhat distasteful, her attitude and challenge was even more-so. In previous visits this restaurant had always been very good. Recently however, the food seems "made up", unprofessional and without the quality of previous visits. I used Pasquale's catering menu for my rehearsal dinner tonight. It was a large order, they had everything ready when we needed it. During the ordering, they made very helpful suggestions to get us a good mix of food for adults and kids. And the food was delicious! Chicken piccata was moist in a lovely velvety lemon sauce. The kings royal pasta was light and fresh, it was lightly sauced but it was very tasty. Veal parmigiana was hearty, and the meatballs really stood out. Several people wanted the name of the restaurant so they could get more between now and the wedding on Sunday! And I for one will definitely be back. read more

Quality of food has suffered, prices have increased dramatically (almost $5 for slice of pizza) and the service sucks. Maybe the kind of place you take the team after the season, but that's it. My boyfriend placed an order at 6pm and was told it would be ready at 630. He got there at 640 and the order was not ready until 710p. He saw half of our order sitting boxed for at least 20 minutes until the garlic knots were finished. There were other customers in there waiting for the same amount of time or even more for their order. He overheard a 6 year old boy state that they had been there for an hour and 15 minutes. When he got home, we were highly disappointed with the quality of food and service received. The garlic knots were undercooked in at least an inch of grease and the cheese breadsticks literally looked like they threw a piece of cheese on top. The pizza dough was extremely undercooked as well. He called the restaurant back and complained and we were offered a credit. We declined as we will not be returning to this place ever again. I'm not sure what happened (new management/owners etc) but this is unacceptable! What a waste of money and time! Save yourselves the disappointment and avoid this place! read more

It took a little while (in my opinion) to get my order completed but I think they messed up one of the pies and had to refire. That's fine with me. 2 small pies and a small calzone was over $50. They absolutely do not care about customer allergies at all. I have an allergy to onions and ask for no onions. It's printed on my ticket that my cheesesteak should have no onions. Alas I got an onion sandwich instead of a cheesesteak. Luckily before I ate it I looked down to see and there was no searching for onions it was as if someone intentionally loaded a bucket of them all over the sandwich. Walk in order for 3 subs. Decent rolls for the area, but not Philly quality. Nice meat portions, and cheese steak and meatball subs were tasty. Friendly service handling lot of traffic. BUT...heads up, NO Mayo means add lots of Mayo. Which means, you guessed it, add oil and vinegar means NO oil and vinegar. Plus, the toppings, Lettuce,tomato, onion seemed like a garden salad just dumped on the top. Huge and barely cut chunks, ruined what could have been a good sub. I can see why the 2 star rating.
