If I could, I would give them a zero! Our 2013 Toyota Tundra broke down, with 538,000 miles, after we arrived in Paso Robles from Sparks, Nevada. It had major engine issues and was too expensive to repair. We decided to look at F250 Diesels at Paso Robles Ford as they came recommended. We test drove 4 different Trucks and decided on the F250 XLT. Colton was very helpful with our test dives and while we sat down to complete the transaction. During our meeting with him I stressed the fact that it would be licensed in Nevada, he said "no issues". During our time with the finance manager, we also stressed the need to send the license and registration fees to Nevada. Our Sparks NV. address is on the contract, my Nevada Driver's license is on it, and I mentioned the truck being insured in Nevada as this is our primary residence. Well, they did not do as we needed, all fees went to California which I discovered upon trying to register with NV's DMV. I proceeded to contact Colton, upon talking to him he said we were advised that fees were being sent to California, WRONG, no mention of this at all. Neither myself nor my wife remember this supposed advisement. If we had, I would not have had my car Insurance Company in Nevada, provide the coverage for the F250, not to say this could have presented a major problem if a mishap had occurred before we registered in NV. It appears California and Nevada, even though same Insurance Companies used have strict guidelines which I was well aware of. Therefore, the truck was not legally insured. We contacted California DMV, and they said the dealer was responsible. My wife went to Paso Robles Ford, where she talked to the Manager and he BLUNTLY said they would not do anything. ATTITUDE, ATTITUDE was very discourteous, and no one was going to help, and we were not going to get our fees back from them. PASO ROBLES FORD MANAGMENT TEAM is unethical and apparently have no respect or care for customers. They also do not want repeat customers. Between California DMV and Nevada DMV, we are out about $2000 with $817 being what we should have received back from PASO ROBLES FORD. read more

They had my f150 for over a year and a half screwed me around on it never called me ect. Finally just had to take it back. Whatever is what it is with that one. I take them my 2025 Platinum Plus F350 for an oil change today. I get told it don't get it for free. I have the copy of the ford service contract even provided them with it. (Copy I signed during purchase) They refused to honor it. I'm pissed off decide I will take it up with ford and just pay for the oil change my truck needs it. I get the truck back with the receipt from them. It states they put 10w30 diesel oil and 5w30 gas oil mixed in my diesel truck!! I called them they told me call them if I don't hear tomorrow by noon with an update on how they can fix it. I'm driving it home and start to smell oil. I get out and it's leaking from the oil filter! So now I had to take my truck the same day to Walmart to actually be serviced properly, with correct oil, and not returned leaking. Kyle the service advisor is very argumentative and does not want to help. They could careless the harm they have caused my brand new trucks engine and other warranties voided by the wrong oil type. We've never had a more terrible experience with a car dealership than we've had with Paso Robles Ford over the past year. The problem isn't just that the vehicle they sold us turned out to be a lemon. The real problem is that General Manager Kevin and Paso Robles Ford have made it crystal clear they will do absolutely nothing to stand by their customer once the sale is complete. We bought a low-mileage 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4XE Sahara Hybrid from them in October 2024. We've owned it for just over ten months -- it's on it's way to the shop today for the eighth time. It's already been out of service for over two months total (with more to come), including one stretch of almost a month. It has quit at highway speeds, stranded us on the side of freeways twice, and is so unreliable we won't drive it outside of our immediate area anymore. When we asked Paso Robles Ford for help, Kevin flat-out told us it wasn't their problem anymore. His words, paraphrased: once he sold us the warranty, their responsibility ended and it was the manufacturer's problem to deal with. Apparently, his idea of "testing" the vehicle before selling it was driving it 58 miles to his house and declaring it was fine, and would always be fine. That's the level of care he thinks is acceptable when a woman and her three kids are stuck with a dangerous, unreliable car that they sold. Here's what Paso Robles Ford has actually done: - Paid for one rental car early on--then washed their hands of the situation. - Refused to help with ongoing rental cars, leaving us to pay thousands out of pocket and fight for months to get reimbursed by Stellantis (the manufacturer), the Jeep manufacturer, who operates with the integrity of a streetcorner three card monte dealer. - Refused to help with Stellantis, even though Kevin and Paso Robles Ford know Stellantis has been slow, unresponsive, and still owes us $1,800 in rental reimbursements (with more to come with the current issue). - Refused to discuss a buyback, even after repeated requests. - Hung up the phone on us when we demanded they do more. The dismissive tone from Kevin was the final insult. He didn't just refuse to help--he made it crystal clear he doesn't care. A reputable dealer would advocate for their customer, especially when safety is at stake. Paso Robles Ford shrugged, pointed fingers at Stellantis, and left us stranded--literally and figuratively. If you're considering buying here, understand this: Paso Robles Ford will smile and shake your hand when you sign the paperwork, but the second things go wrong, YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN. DO NOT expect accountability. DO NOT expect help. And definitely DO NOT EXPECT KEVIN TO CARE. It's been very obvious to us that he doesn't. As a courtesy to anyone considering buying a car from this dealership: save yourself the nightmare we've dealt with. AVOID PASO ROBLES FORD AT ALL COSTS. read more

I left a review a few weeks ago expressing my poor experience with the Paso Robles Ford finance department. Unfortunately the saga continues. I accessed my Ford Credit account online only to discover that not only is our current car there but so is the ghost car they originally created the paper work for. The ghost car was the one written up to be leased to us. They had used the wrong VIN so it was a car we never saw or set foot in. Apparently Ford Credit caught the error and notified the dealership. The paper work was corrected and we went back in and signed what we thought was a corrected lease for the correct car. Today I called Ford Credit about the erroneous second car on our account. They said it was in the process of being cancelled. They had no answer to my question about a possible late payment being reported to the credit bureaus because the payment that would have been due on the wrong car wasn't made. The sales person, Colton was great, but the finance department needs some serious training. They don't know what they are doing. My follow up trip to purchase some parts for a 2017 F150 has proven annoying from the time I spoke with the person in the parts department I bothered I seem to have annoyed them to the point where they wouldn't even call me back to let me know my part was in. Just to transfer me over to the service department who did everything make an appointment to help me? He was almost trying to telepathically. Tell me to take the truck somewhere else to put a tire on because they only have one tire machine. It was too difficult to take off one tire replace a rim. If I could give this specific Ford location a 0 star rating I would. Unfortunately, you have to at least leave a star in order to write a review. Disappointment, heartbreak, mislead. I don't even know where to begin. Let's start with the fact that we drove over 4 long hours to this location, only to be told that the car we were coming to see has been sold right as we arrive. My husband found a 2022 Ford Bronco online earlier in the week priced roughly over $43k. The car had been sitting on the lot 102 days prior to the finding. We set a day to come view and more than likely purchase the car on a Thursday, given we are driving over 200 miles away. We would never drive that far to come back empty handed intentionally....ironically, that seemed to be the case. My husband gets in contact with a rep who goes by Jason, and they exchange numbers so that they can text. We were told by Jason that he will park the car in the back so no one else can see it, since we were going to come and get the car on Thursday. Therefore it seemed to be he was putting the car on hold for us. This, in my opinion, should have been where he would offer us to put a MONEY hold on the car so that we would ensure a right to holding the vehicle, so no other interested buyers would be able to purchase the car. This was NOT offered to us. Thursday morning we leave around 7am. The entire time, Jason is keeping contact with us via text, ensuring that we are on our way. He texts us quite a few times asking us if we are "On our way" and the very last text being, "How far away are you", verbatim. When asked how far we were (we literally were only but 45 minutes away from reaching the dealership) we respond rightfully so, "45 Minutes away", and he responds with a 'thumbs up' hand emoji holding a key. Due to heavy traffic leaving Los Angeles, we reach the dealership roughly around 11:50am. Upon reaching, we get out of the car ready to be greeted by someone for a test drive for the Bronco and get ready to sit down to talk numbers. Instead, we are greeted almost immediately by Jason only to tell us that the very same Bronco, that had only been promised to be saved for us not once but many times was being sold, literally shattered us to pieces. Check in hand, READY to purchase. Only to be LET DOWN like a balloon thats lost its helium on its way up to the atmosphere. Imagine this....renting a car with your OWN money...WASTING GAS... driving 4 hours out of town.... to buy a car you saw online; put on hold, only to be told the car that was being saved for you, "In the back".... is being sold to someone else... There are no words left that can be typed that will express the anger in that moment, even right now. Everything we went through. I think what hurt the most was the fact that we weren't told anything, even as we ignorantly continued our drive thinking we were going to drive off the lot with the car. MISCOMMUNICATION. MISLEADING. LYING. UNTRUSTWORTHY. There are plenty of words to describe this team of people working here at this location. The responses I may get from this post won't be shocking. We did not get any compensation, other than a refill on half a tank of gas, a "Sorry", a "Its not my fault" and "I wish there was something I could do". -_- Nobody tried to even ask us if there was anything else we'd like on the lot. Almost as if it was like, "You're late. Too bad. Oh well, see ya!". I understand that there may be a "First come first serve" basis, but the way we were TOLD the car was still on the lot for sale MINUTES leading up to our arrival to the lot, is INSANE to say the very least. (given there is anything lower than least). What would you do in this situation? Seriously! Like be for real. The drive home was extremely frustrating, sad and hurtful; leaving empty handed. Not to mention the traffic going back into LA....Time we will never get back. Gentle reminder to never trust anyone, even if they seem to be trustworthy. Please, to future buyers, go somewhere else. There are plenty of other dealerships out there that actually try to work with you, keep you updated, don't lie to you, lead you on for NOTHING and actually try to help. COMMUNICATION IS KEY. Trust me, we have experience buying and purchasing cars. We may be a young couple (28) (30), but together we have had 8 dealer cars, all with pretty damn amazing credit, and real money to show for it. P.S Sorry for any typos, if any. While I was without a vehicle for several months due to shipping delays, Jesse provided me with a loaner for daily use that allowed me to continue living (relatively) normally. It has been approximately three weeks since I received my vehicle and have had zero new issues or complaints. When corporate Ford and its warranty partners were unwilling to support a customer who has spent thousands on a vehicle purchase and ongoing maintenance, Jesse and the Paso service and repair team were there. I explained we were from 4 hours away and we were pulling a trailer, which was now at a RV park with no way home until our pickup was repaired. We had been looking for a Ford F-150 truck with specific options and needs for several months... went and saw a few, got turned off big time by a couple scammy dealers, missed out on another truck for going home to think about it and the dealer didnt even call us to tell us someone else was interested.. and it ended up the best moment of procrastination we have ever had as it lead us to Paso Robles Ford. After taking a few days off from looking, we came across a truck that had just been listed... very little info and just one photo but seemed to have what we wanted...and it had a fair and great listed price point! We called immediately and spoke to Gary Moritz. He went out of his way to make sure it was still in stock, take a ton of photos and text to us, made sure it had all the features we wanted... just handheld us each step as it was our first dealer purchased vehicle... never once getting frustrated with our multiple questions via text message... Let me add we are almost 3.5 hours from the dealer and could not with work schedules go see the vehicle so he sent us paperwork via email, got approved within minutes for the loan and we put down a refundable deposit so it would get held for us while it went through the 175 point inspection (It was a 2017 with 19K miles)... We were even offered delivery of the the truck if we could not make it there! (At no cost to us!) The truck did not have a bed liner and they added it at no extra cost! We even got a little discount! Snow storms kept us from being able to go on the day we had planned, no big deal to them, they were again happy to hold the truck for us for our inspection. My partner went a few days after inspection was done, truck detailed and it was ready for us!.... Upon arrival he went on a test drive, loved it, it was everything and more that Gary had told us.... at some point however there was a small chip on the windshield no one had noticed... NO problem! They offered to have it replaced (not fixed Replaced!) right away however it would have been an extra day to get the part and he had to get back sooner so they gave us a certificate to have it repaired within 30 days.. In addition, we really wanted them to re-do the 175 point inspection as it had been over a week old and that also was NO problem, they took it into the shop, gave him a loaner vehicle to get to where he was going to stay over night, as he'd been dropped off there (at no cost to us) and it was ready the next morning. We just recently,, with the Holidays and being snowed in were able to get the windshield replaced. We called Gary to let him know our availability and within an hour he had an appointment scheduled for us and payment on file! All we had to do was show up. We went to the glass shop were in and out within an hour! We have had this truck now... a 2017 F-150 4WD with ALL the bells and whistles you could imagine since 10/30 and LOVE it and the amazing experience we had in purchasing it from Paso Robles Ford. Without hesitation, when we go to purchase a new commuter car next year.. we will drive the 3.5 hours to Paso Robles to see Gary! Thanks to the Team at PRF for your help! read more

I have to say that I am a little amazed by the stellar service that Paso Robles Ford continues to give my husband. I used to think he was picky because he hears every noise and squeak imaginable but it usually has led to something legitimate. That being said, we have been purchasing cars from Paso Robles Ford since we moved here. And Paso Robles Ford has consistently stepped up to the plate with great customer service. Amazing deals and their service department is the best of the best. They really take care of you. Adam has been on top of everything, always. Shannon our salesman, has become a good friend and Kevin and the GM are the good guys that you hear about. Fair and honest and just want their customers to be happy. (I am kind of baffled that there would be any negative reviews ever here.) They really do fall all over themselves to resolve anything, EVERYTIME we have ever needed anything!! And their service department is the best so you have to expect that they are busy. I can't just walk into my hair stylist and expect to sit down in her chair without an appointment. We dealt with a Ford Dealership in Oregon that was backed up three weeks! It's not uncommon. If anyone has a complaint... I think that it might be in their approach.
