Worst experience ever! I called about a truck and had to go through three sales people who would not return my calls or texts. I finally made an appointment and drove 2 hours to see the truck and 15 minutes before we arrived we got a text saying someone else was coming to see the truck and it would be a first come first serve situation! I was furious that they would make an appointment with me and then do this! I drove the truck and liked it very much except it made a horrible noise in 4 wheel drive. The sales person said he would put it in the shop and get back to me. He didn't so I called and he said the shop couldn't find anything wrong with the truck but the salesman said he would drive it and get back to me....he didn't get back to me so I emailed the manager with my frustration. The manager called me promptly, and I told him of my journey through three different sales people trying to buy this truck. Keven the manager said he would drive the truck which he did and he said it did make the noise. He said he would drive it home that night and see if it kept making the noise. The next day he wrote and said it didn't and he thought it was just a lubrication issue. He said he would have his salesperson follow up with me and I asked him to have his salesperson send me the payload on the truck. This never happened and the salesperson never got back to me. I wrote Keven one last time and said "I give up" "I will look elsewhere" and I never heard back from him. I would not shop here even if it was the last Ford dealership on earth!! All other dealerships I have contacted have been professional and accommodating. Never had a worse experience than with Paso Robles Ford! So wonderful!! Our car broke down while camping and I live 5 hours away, and it was towed to a local mechanic shop. After their investigation they figured it may be a manufacturer problem covered under warranty and sent it to Paso Robles Ford. Steve was the best! He kept great communication and discovered it wasn't a manufacturer problem, but actually an electrical error made at our local Ford dealer (in nor cal) where I normally go. He was able to fix it and took detailed documentation so that we could bring the information to our local Ford to get it reimbursed (which they did by the way! Thanks so their thoroughness). When I came to pick it up, Kevin was incredibly helpful and the owner's (I think? or maybe manager's) son was setting up the BBQ, which I was told they do every other weekend while people car shop. Really awful experience. The Internet Sales Manager Gary Moritz treats customers horribly. If you'd like a lecture about "how business is done" or told that "you'll never get that price", then Gary is your man and Paso Ford is your dealership. By the way, I drove up to Frontier Ford in Santa Clara the same day I dealt with Paso. I was treated professionally and respectfully. I drove away in my brand new F150 for the exact price they promised... the same price Gary told me wasn't possible. Let me preface this email with, I do not like car salesman. I tend to find them dishonest and deceitful, doing whatever it takes to make another dollar. With that said, Paso Robles Ford proved this to be wrong. I purchased a 2015 RAM 2500 from a salesman by the name of Tony. Tony was not only fair with meeting my price he and the dealership agreed to fix the breaks and backup camera before delivering the vehicle to me. Upon receipt of the vehicle I found that the brakes were still squeaking and after inspecting them, I found out the brakes were not changed. I immediately called Tony about the brakes and he looked in to the issue. Tony called be back 30 mins later and was 100% honest with me. He informed me that the brakes indeed had not been replaced by the Dodge dealership they sent it to. This is where I was expecting this situation to go horribly wrong. Tony then instructed me that the dealership would honor their promise to fix my brakes and I could take it to the local dodge dealer to have my brakes replaced at Paso Robles Ford expense. After having the brakes replaced, the total came out to $450, $200 more than what Paso Robles Ford expected. Once again, I expected a fight on my hands. I called Tony and told him there had been some heartburn in his finance department about paying the $450 and Tony told me he would take care of it. Tony met with his finance department ensured they paid the $450, then called me back to let me know the bill had been paid. This is by far the best customer service I have ever had at a car dealership. I expected intense conversations and for the dealership to walk away from the promise they made. After forfeiting my SUV fir 2 days to have overheating problem repaired, paying close to 2 thousand dollars for manifold, gaskets, thermostat, radiator hose, antifreeze, clamps and more, I drive 15 miles south on 101, up a small incline and the radiator hose shoots off the radiator forcing us off the road totally disabled! I thought I paid this's whopping cost for some peace of mind and hear we sit on the side of the road, with the hose clamp in our hands that was never tightened!!!! read more

My Ford Fusion was recently recalled for a replacement on the air bags. I took it to Paso Robles Ford, (in Paso Robles... of course.) Service department. I was very impressed with the staff. As soon as I stepped in, I was greeted by not just one person behind the counter, but three people. They were quick to serve me. Also quick to process my needs. The lobby was clean and the sofas were very inviting, with plenty of seating. There was a TV to bide the time, and the coffee was brewing offering a come hither fragrance. Mmmm. The mechanics took care of my car sooner than I expected. Can you say that when you need your car serviced? No you can't. But Paso Robles Ford got the job done and I am very satisfied. read more

On May 13 I was towing my fifth wheel and the turbo intercooler pipe blew off leaving me no power. I called the closest dealer, Perry Ford in Paso. The service advisor knew exactly what was wrong and told me what to do. He also told me to bring it in and they will get me back on the road. I dumped the fifth wheel and drove 35 miles to Perry Ford. They had the part in stock. It was at lunch time, of course, but the service advisor and the service manager installed the part and got me back on the road. Horrible. I just moved to the area and my F-150 has a recall. I called to set up an appointment for the recall. When I arrived the attendant told me it was going to be $150 bucks for a recall! Are you kidding me? And that I was going to have to pay for a rental as well. I will never come here again. I had the service done when I went and visited my hometown dealership. In the market to purchase a Raptor. Test Drove the 2018 and wanted to compare the 2019's new suspension. Drove from Santa Maria to Paso Robles to test drive the 2019 Raptor and were told we had to sign purchase agreement in order to test drive it. Salesman stated they didn't want to put any miles on the truck, however the truck has 16+ miles on it already. I was ready to trade in my BMW but will never return after being profiled that way. I talked to a service rep when they opened and he told me the website doesn't work and that they couldn't get me in and wouldn't even try. If I could put up half a star I would. My girlfriend and I went to Paso Robles Ford over the weekend to look at a used car that we were/are very interested in. I had been in contact with Bob Moore via email and had set up an appointment with him to view and test drive the vehicle we were looking to purchase. Bob was great, he showed us the car and took us for a test drive, during this time he explained that Paso Robles Ford is a family run dealership and really prides itself to not carry the stigma that many other car dealers are known to have. Bob let us know that every customer is like family and that they truly value our business. So we decided to buy the car! We went inside the dealership to talk numbers with Bob and at one point he got the manager involved, his name is KEVEN PRYOR, and WOW what a change! The friendly family owned dealership turned into a snarling bear who chased us out of there. I believe his words were "I don't even know why I'm coming over here, I'm just going to tell you the same thing." This friendly dealership that Bob had spent so much time assembling in our minds just became a complete fallacy. The bottom line is that KEVEN PRYOR, who is supposedly the "sales manager" at this establishment treated two potential customers like garbage, which made us feel like Paso Robles Ford DOES carry the stigma of many swanky car dealerships. Potential customers should avoid this establishment if they would like to be treated with respect and dignity when making what is for many the biggest purchase of their lives! I have worked in the sales industry for many years and through my experience, it is unacceptable to treat customers as if they don't matter or won't make a difference for the bottom line. This is not true as every customer individually contributes to the end of month sales numbers! And if this posting carries any weight I hope to eliminate as many of those potential individual customers from Paso Roble Ford as possible! Please see Perry Ford in San Luis Obispo, they are just a hop, skip, and jump down the highway and will treat you with much greater respect and appreciation than Paso Robles Ford will! I would also note that I have not received as much as a phone call or email to apologize for this unacceptable experience. This is the second worst experience I have had at a dealership! First is Kitahara in Fresno, but that is another story. I went back to this dealership because I was interested in one of their trucks. I walked around outside for a good 15 min and eventually had to go inside to find a sales person! Everything was going ok until I got inside and the first question I was asked was how much I wanted to put down. That is ok but we never talked about the price! They were offering a good deal 10k off sticker. So I kinda beat around the bush about it and tried to talk price. (I was going to pay cash but I didn't need to let them know that yet). Right off the bat they wanted to run my credit. I told them I didn't want to run my credit and that's when it started getting ugly. There was some small talk again they wouldn't talk about the price only thing they would say was "that's a good price. There is nothing left". I know you NEVER take the first price that is put in front of you. Then the salesman made a comment " well this is just to much of a truck for you". I said well I guess so I guess we are done. Then I asked for a copy of the report he filled out and that's when he tossed it at me and said "you can get a copy yourself" really!!!!! That's how they treat their custumers? Looking back now the paper he filled out was 2k more than the sticker said anyways! Please look elsewhere for you cars this place doesn't care about your business. Picture's below proves the price. I have bought a few cars from here in the past. They have been okay in the past. This weekend I walked onto the lot to look for a ford maverick. Just seeing by chance they had one to look at. I was just researching. A salesman's came out I asked if he had any to look at etc..... he said no he wanted my name to order one. I said no I can do that online. They guy literally said meaning and mad " your not going to find anything that way!" Turned around and walked away from me. In return I wasn't nice I voiced myself. I called Paso Ford looking for a truck for my business, I spoke with Shannon and was encouraged to come on in and he was the guy to talk to. I arrived about an hour later, Shannon was with another customer, which was fine, but there was about 5 other employees all sitting around bull$&!@n non of which asked me if I needed help. So I looked around the lot, found a truck I was interested in and still couldn't get anyone to help me so I left. Later I call to ask about the truck I was looking at and spoke with Shannon's cousin, Bob. He said he had heard I was there and that no one had helped me (how'd he hear that?) and he apologized, so I came back in, test drove and started filling out forms. It was getting late Sunday and most banks were not going to respond, I left under the understanding I would hear from him the following day. The next day I was literally waiting by the phone, 5 o'clock rolls around and I send an email asking for an update, and about 5 min later I get a call from Shannon stating he was just about to call me before I emailed and yadayada yada. He said he would call me at the end of the day to update me even if there was nothing to update, which he did, and he was very polite, he assured me I was on the top of the list and he would be calling me in the morning. The next day still no word. Funny, I was at Sunset Honda in SLO, purchasing my new Toyota Tacoma, and. I checked Craigslist for similar priced vehicles, and low and behold there's the truck I was trying to buy from Paso Ford. The post was just one hour old. Needless to say Sunset Honda got my business and Paso Ford will forever receive negative feedback from me. Its easy to make a promise. It's not hard to make a phone call either. read more

We decided it was time to change from our regular dealership when the mechanics weren't able to fix an issue with my husband's F-350 after multiple expensive attempts. We were so happy with the service department at Paso Ford that we decided to use them for our newest purchase. Tony on the sales team was very nice, we had pretty specific wants and needs in a truck so it took a couple weeks to match a truck to our budget but he was patient and came through for us. We ended up with a nice CPO F-150 that my husband and I both liked. The only issue we had was when it came time to sign the finance papers. The gentleman became very pushy and flat out argumentative when I declined the additional gap insurance ($700). His attitude was incredibly rude and condescending when I tried to explain we didn't need it because our personal insurance has a built in gap that we have used before and are well aware of how it works. He made a snippy comment about never having heard of that before and got out his calculator to try to prove the math I had done in my head regarding our coverage limits was wrong, which it wasn't. We nearly walked out in the middle of signing the papers because of that. Ultimately, we end up replacing one of our vehicles about every 2 years and will probably give them another go when we make our next purchase. Hopefully, Mr Pushy will have moved on by then. In the mean time we will certainly continue to use their wonderful service department. read more

I went into paso ford a couple of months ago to buy a used car and within 6 days there were two issues that came up on the car I called and talked to Kevin the sales manager he said bring it in and he'll have the machanic look into it. I sat there for four hours waiting to hear what's wrong he pulled the car up and said the import mechanic called in sick and said call to make a new appointment witch I wondered why he didn't tell me this right off and me wasting four hours for nothing. I tried calling to set up a new appointment but he wouldn't answer my calls. I find that they illegally smoged the car knowing there was a existing issue with the car you would think they would know that everytime a check engine light comes on the computer records when and what the issue code is. This should of be fixed before it was sold but they sidestepped the code so it would pass the smog test well that's a big no no so I'm going to contact the california emissions board and see what they gave to say about this. So instead of paying a couple thousand to replace the faulty catalytic converter it's going to cost them hundreds of thousands in fines for illegally smoging a faulty car. This reminds me of something that happened at perry ford for fraudulent repair work they were doing if you lived in the area long enough like me were I was born and raised here you would know that case. Well I'm felling a little deja vu with paso ford. It really hurts living here my whole life and to see such business practices going on. Me and my dad worked for local dealerships when I was a young man I'm just glad he's not here to see how there treating me well I'm going to see this through for him and everybody else that has been taken advantage of. Bought my son a brand new 4x4 F-150 from here. They were very aggressive in negotiating a price I was comfortable with. They threw in car mats and a bed liner too as a negotiation tool. They did not want to see me walk away and their aggressiveness led me to buy from them. I walked away from at least 4 other dealerships that were not aggressive in wanting my business. The only complaint I have would be against Ford themselves, they company they outsource to with their branded bed liners make bed liners that do not fit. I am now going to my third bed liner dealership to see if they can install a bed liner that will fit? How is it that Ford can make such great trucks and something as simple as as plastic bed liner they can't have one made that fits their trucks??? WTH? read more

12 minutes ago I wish I could give 0 stars. Went to get my sister a certified preowned car today that she was very excited to get. The "Head of the used car dept" as he claimed to be came out after our test drive and appraising the trade in we had. Then in normal manner asking what she'd like to pay which was $450 a month not unreasonable for her credit score at all he informed us that our trade wasn't good enough and he would not be giving us any money off the MSRP tag on the car. We let him know there was a dealership that had the exact same car in Fresno for $3000 cheaper and asked if he would work with us. Our mom was with us and has bought many Vehicles over the years and asked why he wouldn't consider dropping it down since most dealers do mark up tags to be able to negotiate. He informed her in a rude snarky tone that he didn't pretend to know her profession so she shouldn't pretend to know his. When I chimed in saying that my grandfather had done this for 45 years which is why we know that they do that he rolled his eyes and ignored me while starting to talk down to my mother again. At this point we left and all agreed we will never buy from this dealership again because this man has absolutely NO respect for people trying to pay him lots of money for a car. Avoid! This dealership is not only rude but very unprofessional in dealing with potential customers. After receiving the non caring help from the salesman we took our business to Coast Nissan and had a great experience with a top notch sales team. We ended up getting a better, loaded brand new SUV for less than the unsuperior model that was shown to us. Not only did we get a better model... a better interest rate.. a better payment.. getting better service was the best thing.
