Mark is amazing!! Our upstairs Space Pak stopped working about a week ago and Four Seasons claimed we had a leak and recommended we purchase a new unit. To make a long story short, we had no leak and we would've spent thousands upon thousands of dollars to have it replaced. This review is for two separate visits. The first for when Mark repaired and refurbished my A/C unit to like-new condition. It was the first big heat wave of the summer and every other company I called was quoting a week plus for an appointment. Mark was there the following morning at 6:30am, did an excellent job, and documented and explained his work thoroughly. The second visit was for annual maintenance & cleaning of my furnace, and again he was able to come out quickly, did excellent work, and explained everything clearly. Wow - amazing service!! Mark is the best! We had some issues with our A/C unit as it was not blowing cold enough air, he came over initially and we review some reasons why this could be happening and he gave me some things to try first without charging me!! Those things did not work so he came back the next day and opened up our entire unit (which no other repairman would do) and he was able to accurately diagnosis the problem. He also found the real reason our furnace had issues in the winter and offered to fix that too! He purchased all the items needed for the repair and spent a long time making sure everything was installed correctly and walked me through his logic so I was more aware in the future. This guy knows his stuff!! I've never met another repairman as passionate about their job as Mark and he definitely fixed everything and I felt assured that he was doing it correctly. A lot of other repairman just come in and want to leave quickly, but Mark takes the time to understand everything and makes sure he's telling you the right thing. The quality and time spent would not be found anywhere else and his pricing was the lowest I've seen. Very reasonable for the amount of time he was here. He stayed until 11pm and then came back at 6am to finish in order to make sure we had cold air in the hot summer! I cannot say enough great things about him. I cannot say enough great things about Mark! Our AC stopped working and getting someone to call us back, much less come to our home, was next to impossible. The only other person to come out (for an $89 fee)was from the company we had used in the past. Without inspecting anything he said it might be a leak in the coil but he would gladly refill the coolant with no guarantee that it wouldn't empty out rather quickly AND charge us a 40% upcharge because it was considered emergency service since it was on the weekend. Translation: $1100 for coolant that we may simply waste and still have to set up an appointment with the salesman in 2 days who could then have it installed by the following week. When the salesman came out, he promptly informed us that we really should get a new furnace too, even though the same company had installed one just 7 years ago. Grand total on the estimate: $10000. No, thanks. Then I called Mark. Yes,as someone here stated, he charges $100 to come assess the situation but he is very thorough. He inspected the current unit and found the hole in the coil. He looked at our furnace and said it was fine and did not need replacing. He quoted a price of $4500 fully installed. We went with him and could not be happier. The install proved to be a bit difficult because of the layout of our home, but Mark was tenacious in figuring out a way to make it work without having to rip open a wall. It took him longer than he expected but he worked diligently through sweltering heat AND ended up giving up his Father's Day to make sure the job was done. He truly enjoys his work and will gladly share the science behind it. He takes pride in his workmanship. And on top of all of this, he is a really, really nice guy. While I don't hope anything else in my home breaks down, if it does, I know Mark will be the first person I call. read more

Super fast response time on a Saturday, in January, when the temp outside was below freezing and our furnace was on the fritz. I have used Mark and Pasieka services on 3 separate occasions and all I can say is that he is great. He initially tried to troubleshoot/ diagnose my issues with me over the phone, trying to save me money. His service is great, his prices are fair and he was willing to field all of my questions about my furnace and A/C. I don't know his "hours" as he was willing to come over very early in the morning or into the evening in order to accommodate my work hours, which is a plus for those of us who do not want or cannot take off of work easily. Mark was great. I hit up several electricians for a track lighting issue that had most of our 1st floor in the dark and he was quick to respond and made a site visit that day to diagnose. Mark was very helpful in fixing our dim oven display... I took off the display's board, Mark helped me with a question remotely as I was uninstalling, and brought the component to Mark's shop. Mark tested the capacitors on the board and replaced a couple of them that were not performing to their capacity, and took care of it pretty quickly. We had an AC leak pop up on a Friday afternoon, but Mark was able to fit us into his (busy) schedule the following Monday. He showed up on time Monday morning and quickly identified the clog causing the leak.
