TAKEOUT REVIEW: Treated myself to some tasty takeout from Pasha Turkish Kitchen - a place I've driven by a few times and have been curious to try. I ordered the Mixed Grill Kebab, because I like to try a little bit of everything. The dish contained Kofte, Chicken Adana, Chicken Kebab, and generous slices of doner. I'm not the biggest lamb fan, so I was really pleased that the doner was beef. Kofte is forever and always my favorite, and Pasha's did not disappoint. My second favorite was the juicy pieces of Chicken Kebab. Along with the meat feast, the meal came with rice, veg, and a WARM roll of sesame-covered bread. It was delightfully soft and easy to pull apart. My takeout meal was well packed, arrived at a nice temp, and came with an assortment of condiments. While on the pricey side, I'll have no problem making 2-3 meals out of it and it was a special Saturday night treat. Worth it! CAPSULE JUDGMENT: Really enjoyed my takeout from Pasha's. I'd like to visit their restaurant soon and sample some of their other offerings. It was a refreshing change from all the various Middle Eastern options out there. Go! read more

Of the many ethnic restaurants dotting the northeast Ohio food landscape, Turkish fare is somewhat underrepresented ad there were formerly only two such places. Thankfully, Pasha affords Eastsiders an opportunity to sample the many delectable flavors of Turkey in a low-lit intimate setting. Just as you enter through the main door, you take notice of the modern full bar that winds around the interior with a wide selection of liquor. There are also booths and tables suitable for single patrons or groups. I decided to sit at the bar and was greeted right away by one of the servers. The menu is extensive and offers a wide range of signature dishes such as tabouli, hummus, babaganoush, falafel, kibbe, doner, kofte, and many others. As I wasn't that hungry, I decided on a bowl of lentil soup and a glass of Turkish tea. The lentil soup was a savory sensation that paired well with the freshly baked warm complementary bread that was brought out. The tea was a warm and soothing blend of flavor harmoneously fused with notes of cinnamon and cloves! It was so good that I had several glasses! Pasha serves some of the best Turkish cuisine in have had. The restaurant appears to the been a diner with booths, tables and counter service. I ordered take out and it took a while for them to locate my order - several different people were consulted before I had it. I look forward to having Pasha food again. I thought the baba was better than the hummus. The kebabs were great. read more

This place should be packed. The freshest food. I love the pasha salad with diced tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and walnut in a pomegranate sauce. Lovely. Pair with a crisp white Turkish wine and it's an amazing meal for under 20. I've dined inside and I also enjoy their patio. Although it is on a busy street but it still can be very quiet. I can't say enough about this place! The food was perfectly prepared, perfectly seasoned, authentic, plentiful and freaking delicious! The staff was very friendly and as we waited for our food, told us more about the family owned business, family recipes and all the hard work and love they have put into the restaurant. Very good. The service was good. Ordered the app to try all spreads. The bread was amazing. Mom got the platter to try all, she loved it. The chicken was so juicy. Dad and husband got the gyro platter and the lentil soup. Very good soup! I got the gyro platter that was with a tomatoe type sauce. Everything was very tasty. Desserts were also very good. Where do I begin on Pasha Turkish Kitchen? Immediately when I walked in I was greeted and seated promptly by the very nice workers. Our server then served us bread with two incredible sauces, the first sauce was a cucumber yogurt sauce and then the second sauce was a red sauce that was slightly spicy both of which were delicious. We then ordered an appetizer of calamari which was fresh and hot, by far one of the best calamari's I've ever had. For our entrees my partner ordered the Shrimp saute which they absolutely loved. For my entree I had the mixed grill kebab which had an assortment of kebabs ranging from lamb to chicken. The kebabs were full of flavor and were absolutely delicious. This was the first time I've ever had the opportunity to try Turkish food and this certainly won't be the last time I visit this restaurant. Ok, I never write reviews for restaurants. Ever. But this place was so good that I had to rate it. Food The food was amazing!!!! I mean so good that the seasoning stays on your tongue for five minutes after you eat it! (I recommend the chicken kebab). As for the desserts, I took the Kazandibi, and it was amazing!!!! So sweet and tasty and I usually am hesitant to try other desserts but this one rocked! I didn't try the coffee but my mother said it's just like from home (she's from Europe), and everyone at the table loved the Baklava. Also the coffee is straight from Europe (at least in taste), and in case you didn't know European coffee is served in small cups and no, you're not getting ripped off. Think your average espresso but condensed into a tiny cup. That coffee is STRONG! Trust me you'll know it once you take it. Service The waiters are so nice and made me feel respected? I think that's the right word for it. Anyone can tell you that usually in America, waiters act standoffish (which I understand it's a difficult job) but not this place. They actually treat you like a guest here, like they're HONORED you chose to dine here. Amazing. Not to mention Hussein. He's (who I'm assuming is the restaurant owner) SO KIND. He went to our table and shook everyone's hands. I've NEVER in my life had someone in a restaurant do that, let alone the owner! They really care about their guests and they value you so much. By the way, we had a regular wait for our food and the owner went right to our table and actually apologized for the wait and gave us an appetizer for free! So, so nice. I literally cannot express how nice they are. Ambiance Well, if you're looking for a Turkish place, you've found it. They have a bar with mosaic tiles and our place had fairy lights and lamps hanging. It was nice, definitely a place you could have friendly conversations with your table mates. So happy I finally tried Pasha's. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. The kibbe is a great appetizer; I just wish there were more! Fresh baked bread is light and fluffy. But the main courses... Wow! I had a combo plate with andana and doner (gyro). My partner had the beef kebabs. The kebabs were so tender! The doner was maybe the best I've had. I went to Pasha with my son for dinner. I went based on a recommendation from a friend, and hate to say I was disappointed. I'm not familiar with Turkish food. I am familiar with Middle Eastern food but not specifically Turkish food. For example, I ordered hummus, but it did not come with anything to eat it with. No pita bread, no crackers-nothing - so I didn't know what to do with it. I asked the server for recommendations and help, but got nothing beyond the boiler plate: these are our popular dishes...Personally, I don't care about what's popular. I want what taste good. And it's even better if you can point out that hidden gem on the menu. The place was clean. And the people around me all seem to really enjoy the restaurant and their food. I just needed a little more help because it was my first time there and unfortunately didn't get it. Would I go back? That's TBD. read more
