06/28/25 I went here today to get a gyro and it was absolutely terrible. The bread was falling apart, the meat was not good and to top it all off, the woman that was working there did not have a professional demeanor. I asked for a refund and the boss was not there and told me the boss would be there later and a note would be left for the morning or whenever I come in but no, I'm disputing the charge and getting my money back because it was absolutely disgusting, it was not the meat, it was simply the chef and unable to cook properly, keep a professional setting and the energy was off the entire time I was in there. I used to eat here quite a lot but clearly, a lot of things have changed. Find a better cook. read more

To keep it real, I was kinda on the fence about trying Pita Potle because, number one (forgive me), the name and number two, it's right next to the liquor store (Mookie's) in the plaza. Well, you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover because this is now one of my favorite restaurants and when I tell you the food is fresh, delicious and filling, it's no joke. I started off with falafel wraps, then moved on to the salmon dinner. It went from there to the lamb chops and then trying the actual bowls. Insider tip: Get the garlic cilantro ranch mayo!!! Tried Pita Potle for the first time today and I love it! The food was fresh and service was awesome! Angie answered all my questions and even let me try the sauces before adding them to my bowl. This place is despicable and possibly racist trash - even though they have house n-ggas working there. I am INFURIATED and I will NEVER patronize this awful, dishonest establishment again! I ordered lamb chops and strawberry cake. I go to pick up my order, they had forgotten to make it. Mind you, there were whites also waiting for pick up. They forgot to make everyone's order. I sat in my car and waited an additional 20 min - although I had given them enough lead to already to make my order! They were literally bowing to the whites. I get out of my car thinking "my order better be ready too". I ask "is everything in there.?" The house n-gga "yes, it's all in there ma'am.' But in an agitated tone. I get home, THERE ARE NO LAMBCHOPS! Just rice and peppers! I paid $18.95 for that dish!!! They clearly prioritized the WHITE - (there is also a white woman who is the manger) they got them what they asked for and gave me scraps. I got cheesecake instead of cake, all around I was treated like the N-word with a hard - ER. If you are black, stop patronizing them! YOU come LAST. They made sure all those white people had what they ordered and gave me rice and vegetables. They are deceitful and thieves! Don't know how to describe this exactly, but I got a sickly feeling about halfway through my bowl. Something is off with either the bowl composition or ingredients here - maybe it was the insane amount of Tahini the preparer used. The place has limited seating and the seating areas are dirty. Mediterranean places are always rated well, but this place is more of a 3-star than a 5-star - there's nothing *wrong* with it, it's just not great. read more

I visited PitaPotle for the first time 4/10/2024. Their ability to cater to many different diets, with a variety of tastey items, has truly won me over. I got a filafel bowl with every vegetarian option on it. So delicious!! Their toppings were crisp and fresh or sautéed and seasoned well. The preparer Angie was a delightful, down to earth kind of person. Very relatable and courteous. It was my first time there but I was treated as if I was a regular who frequents the establishment. Without a doubt the best food I've had since becoming a vegetarian. I 1000% recommend trying their food. Also, menu items are priced so fairly!! 5 Stars!!!!!! read more

Delicious, flavorful bowls! I like the chicken bowls since the meat is cooked to order so it's fresh and juicy. The service is slow if you're in a rush but they're always very nice people and generous with the portions. I usually can eat off a bowl two or three times for only about 8 bucks. Good solid food. We ordered a mixed shawarma bowl with garlic sauce and hot sauce on the side. Also a small fattoush salad. We frequent middle eastern restaurants often. The salad was small and wasn't quite as flavorful our usual fattoush salads we get. Also the dressing wasn't as zesty and flavorful as we like. But the bowl was decent. The rice was cooked well and the chicken and beef were tender and seasoned well. The home made hot sauce was also just ok. Overall I would go back and try some other things. read more

Chipotle style; pick your wrap or bowl as well as toppings. It would help if you are already familiar with Mediterranean foods such as shwarma. If not you may feel a little lost the first time, especially when it comes to sauces to add. I got one on my food then tried another on the side. The one on the side was better then the sauce on the food.... but then I didn't have enough of it. read more

I have been here a few more times since and it is still incredible! I had the mixed kebabs and all three (beef, lamb, and chicken) were delicious. I also had the mixed shawarma bowl with steak and chicken (fantastic). And the lamb chops were divine as well. In regards to their desserts: the tiramisu is delicious and so is the tuxedo bar cake. A strip mall carry out spot that looks like it should be yucky. Overall it was quite surprising. I only picked up a small taboli to sample and it had great flavor with the simple ingredients of parsley, onion, tomato, lemon juice, olive oil, and spices listed on the lid. I will stop back and try a few other items as I always like falafel and baba. The only downside is that there were a few customers that smelled like BO. So that was a little yucky. My co-worker and I enjoyed the food so much, we went back. Co-workers had the chicken shawarma bowl. I had the fish dinner. Two huge filets, fries, and garlic/cilantro/mayo. The mayo with the fish is awesome! What is really awesome, is this place is only five minutes from my office! read more

So I went for the first time today after being fascinated about having a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant in this town area. I was in all-day virtual training and ordered online right before the lunch break. It was ready for pick up when I arrived. The location is near the highway, and I was surprised by how calm, nice, and clean the inside was. This is an accomplishment because there is a beverage store at the other end of the strip. (I'm going to leave it at that.) I am a Mediterranean food connoisseur. Any Mediterranean or Middle Eastern restaurant I go to, I get falafel. While this falafel had all the ingredients for a good falafel, the pine nuts were not as fine as I'm used to, rendering the patty rather dry. The flavor fell flat for me also. Not the worse falafel, but it's a 3.5/10 for me. I may try it again. My main dish was the beef shawarma bowl. Nice amount of rice, veggies, and plenty of meat, overall pretty good. The meat was tender, the veggies and rice were well cooked. I choose Tahini and Cucumber Yogurt as my sauces. There was more sauce than I usually like, which drowned out the elements of the bowl. I will be sure to get the sauces on the side the next time. I'm surprised that there was not a pita added on the side. Finally, I got the Baklava sampler. The pistachio baklava maybe was made with shredded phyllo dough, which was reminiscent of shredded wheat. I like shredded wheat. However, it was not sweet enough. 4 out of 10. The baklava finger was a decent 6 out of 10. The last piece, I think it was a Baklava diamond, was a 1 out of 10. All this being said, I'd be willing to try again to see if there will be any differences. read more

We tried an assortment of vegetarian items including a falafel roll, a Fattoush salad, and a vegetarian platter of four dips and grape leaves. Stopped in here just for some snacks. Tried the vegetarian stuffed grape leaves, baba & hummus. The regular baba & hummus were very good, but the spicy baba & hummus were even better! Tried those with some za'atar pita chips. Yum! Really hoping they will open another store closer to the west side so I can try more! read more

The food was absolutely delicious! Hummus plate with Beef Shawarma was perfection, and service was excellent. Definitely recommend!

We got take-out from here on a whim and were delightfully surprised. The tabbouleh was so fresh tasting and zingy. Falafel, mixed roll and gyro were delicious. On a side note, the baba ghanoush did not come with pita, but we will order some next time. The rice pudding.... swoon.... was amazing; it had a gorgeous floral note to it which was quite unlike anything we'd ever eaten. read more
