The staff are all super nice and did a wonderful job (no cuts or bleeding ahah which happens sometimes during pedis but no they were perfect here!) I also liked their temporary shoes more than the rubber ones at other places and love that they give you a baggie with oil in it to put over your feet before putting shoes on to make sure that the polish doesn't get rubbed. I would wear flip flops normally but not during winter in Chicago of course, so I love that they pay extra attention and make sure your pedicure lasts :)

They somehow managed to mix up my appointment and didn't even have a technician to provide the service. They seemed shocked that I asked for a discount after their treatment. I came back the next day and the appointment for a chrome mani was over an hour and half long and I ended up with a ton of damage to one cuticle- I had to keep a bandaid on for the first 4 days to prevent an infection, and it HURT. I've also had multiple technicians openly talking shit about their coworkers, which I find tasteless.

I requested a long set with pink jelly acrylic in a tapered coffin shape. We agreed to the style/ shape and got started. This is when things went downhill, she advised she didn't have the color acrylic we agreed on and I settled for a different color. Then as things progressed I noticed the shaping was incorrect and asked did she plan to taper the set. She explained it was already tapered and it would be too much time / work to reshape the acrylic according to what we agreed on. I stated I wouldn't be happy with the shape as it was boxy/square and it wasn't what we agreed on. She was unwilling to compromise on fixing the shape stating she had clients after me. I paid a deposit for 2hr time slot expected all the time to be dedicated to my service. I suggested a simpler design to make up for any time it'd take to shape but this was also dismissed. I requested a clear coat and ended the service. I've never had such an unpleasant experience getting my nails done and as new client it was not the level of service I'm used to and will not be returning In the future.
