This was probably the most awful dining experience I have ever had. I rarely write reviews because it's rarely bad enough to be worth my time. From the paper thin silverware and plastic cups to the herb-less frozen garbage that they call food, the entire experience was awful. The six people at my table each ordered a different entree, each of which was nearly inedible. We got 2 appetizers, one of which was obviously frozen breaded ravioli, the other was dry chewy stuffed "mushrooms." After we each decided that our food was inedible, we got the manager over who tried to tell us that "that's just the way our food is." He offered to cover half of the bill to which I told him we wouldn't be paying at all. Remember when I said the entire experience was awful? Well our waitress was actually pretty upbeat and nice so we tipped her very well given the circumstances. Do yourself a favor and don't ever come here. Edit: I forgot to mention that the entire experience took over two hours, and with dishes priced at an average of $15 when it's obvious that only a tiny fraction of that cost goes towards quality ingredients, it's clear that this is nothing more than a tourist trap. If you decide not to heed my warning and try this place anyways please pay attention to the art on the walls. This food is just bad. I love lasagne, I really love it. I have ordered it from lots of places, I even eat it frozen at work. I even like diet lasagne. But this was just plain gross. There are pros and cons to eating at this restaurant Pros- -Great waitress. Very friendly! -If you're on a diet this is a marvelous place to eat, Because you will lose all of your appetite about 3 bites into your meal. -They must be in good with Jesus. Why? The portions are tiny. They could've fed the entire restaurant with a loaf of bread and 2 fishes. -if you're anorexic. This is the place to be. You won't even have to gag yourself to throw up after the meal. (Took me about 30 minutes before the 4 shrimp and bite of fish I had couldn't stay down any longer) - if you're an animal lover, this place will do wonders for the stray cats because I guarantee they throw lb upon lb of leftovers into the dumpster. They spent a lot on the decor and the ambience is very nice, with an Italian street side feel. Service was substandard. First, if you're looking for a "fine dining experience", you're going to be disappointed. That's not what it's about. It's a fun for the whole family atmosphere. The food was pretty good. I had the Chicken Marsala with Gluten Free Penne. My only complaint was that I thought the chicken was grilled, but it was breaded. Still tasted very good. One of the reviewers said that everything was salty. My wife and I don't eat salt and find most resteraunts too salty. I didn't think that our food was too salty here. Dinner here on a Tuesday night in July. Walked right in and was seated immediately. Our waiter Chris, was fantastic. Attentive, friendly, and quick to the jump. The food was equally fantastic. Perfect sized portions that tasted delicious. The kind of meal that you keep eating even once you've full to the brim, but it's so good you can't bear to leave anything on the plate. We ordered the Chicken Marsala, Chicken Alfredo and the kids lasagna. All were great. I also ordered an NYC Fuzz (adult beverage). It was great, you definitely get your money's worth of alcohol. The interior is very cute, set up to look like old town NYC, faux buildings and all. The second floor has a mini Coney Island, complete with ferris wheel. A great family restaurant with an incredibly unique design, unlike any restaurant I've seen before. What won me over was the attentiveness of our waiter, wish I got his name, he did a great job! I am giving it three stars because one of the drinks I ordered they couldn't make because they didn't have the ingredients and my son asked for a Shirley temple and I had to tip the bar tender to get a few cherries.
