Motown hits

The location was difficult to find but now I know it's on commercial street versus looking for it next door to the Hilton. Once inside greeted by friendly, happy staff which is always a plus. The interior is kinda a "ole happy days set" the chairs and table remind you of that time and the color palette. The music is exactly on point and excellent. The guys do a great job entertaining the crowd and talking thru the slow moments. It's a great time!

Was there for Motown Downtown. If you are into Motown music this should be on your must-see list of shows. But don't expect a big theater or big production. In fact, when you first walk in you may think you accidentally walked into a diner restaurant. This is a very intimate experience with good audience participation but the tiny showroom is bare bones minimalistic. You will definitely get your money's worth as these guys will play for at least 2 hours (or 2 and a half in our case.) The talented, hard-working group that will fulfill your Motown music craving. A nice change of pace from the over-the-top bigger shows.

Derek Ventura, Doc Hutchison and Andre Shepard - super talent.

We absolutely loved the "Do Wop and the Drifters" show because it took us back to our teenage years and the songs we loved. The lead singer, who was a lead singer for the Drifters back in the 50s and 60s, is just excellent-what a voice! The other two, the tenor and the bass, were also great. The whole show is just a lot of fun. The singers are very personable and invite the audience to join them in certain songs, which we all did and everyone loved. I smiled for two hours straight. If you go, you will be singing and moving and wishing you could get up and dance. I would advise that this show probably appeals to more older people. Everyone in the theater appears to be over 65, I'm quite sure, and we are all having a blast. I'm not sure if it would appeal to younger people. Maybe it would, because the music is superb.

Reminded me of my Grandparents and family singing alongs at our get togethers. The Stampede was very entertaining! Loved how the North and South duel it out - we were North! We won!!! As for the dinner... that startled me when our waiter just threw down a small rotisserie chicken onto my plate. Was not expecting that! Felt really barbaric... but I guess that's a cowboys life back in the day, around the campfire lol. I would recommend going. Fun time! I didn't get any pictures of the food because there was just way too much going on

She chatted with us at the beginning of the show and we were in the first row which I thought would be a great seat! You can order drinks via a QR code and someone from the bar area will deliver them and they will check everyone's ID no matter how old you are. The drink was not good. Tasted very watered down for lack of flavoring and alcohol. You do get a non alcoholic drink included I ordered the unsweetened tea and it took her a little bit to get it because it's not one of the pitchers they keep handy. She refilled everyone else's drink somewhat regularly and when I asked for a refill she had to serve dessert first which I understand the schedule but then it was pretty much almost towards the end of the show before I got a refill. Once they start serving the food the show is happening and as our server is quickly serving food down the row she is saying something about napkins covering your plate and before I can register what is happening I feel all of this sand hit me in my hair, on my shoulder and in my food. She knew when it was coming and it only happened once during the show but I feel like that was something she could have mentioned when she had our full attention before the show started. Myself and 3 other people in the row needed new plates of food. I know it's hard to make food for that many people all at once but the food was just ok. The chicken was good and the soup was ok. Pork was dry and corn was very chewy. As for the show the horse riding was fine. I think skeeter made the show with her comedy and I liked when they started the competition portion. Overall I wouldn't do it again and may not even suggest it to people to see unless you think it's something your kids would really love.

It's a fun, high-energy, sing-along experience that captures the heart and soul of Garth's music. From "Friends in Low Places" to "The Dance," the performer is entertaining and brings the energy! One of the standout highlights was the incredible fiddle player--absolutely amazing talent! His energy and skill brought the show to another level and had the crowd cheering more than once. Whether you're reliving the classics or discovering Garth's music for the first time, this show is a feel-good experience that's perfect for all ages. Definitely worth adding to your Branson itinerary!

Completely enjoyed it, although there must…read morehave been something going on with the Base singer, he wasn't on stage for most of the songs and certainly appeared to be ill or something physical. Wasn't onstage more than half and didn't do much on any of the songs. We mentioned it to each other as it was obvious to both of us, later seeing he was the lead organizer we were giving him the benefit of any doubts we had. There was a great deal of energy from all which made it fun to watch because it appeared they were having fun also. Have to be a very good actor or truly enjoy what you are doing to make it so believable on just an average night in July. For us! the best part was actually knowing most of the songs they did. The joke was that they were going to do the best of the decades after 1980's, but couldn't find any. The building was appropriate for the audience although parking can be difficult. It is an 'older' building but inside is obviously old and an update might work. We would refer anyone to it and have fun. See some comments concerning the comedian. He was ok, am sure he has a fairly set routine but the onstage performers didn't appear to know what he might say. I rated him ok to good, but then we went for the music....this was an addon for us.
