I purchased tickets for this show based on TripAdvisor. I did not have high hopes. We were having a family reunion in the area and thought a show together would be great. First, I had some problems ordering tickets on line. Hit the 'let's chat' button and met the most helpful and delightful man, Michael. He helped me get the tickets then proceeded to make suggestions for other activities and restaurants for our time there. His suggestions were great. We used quite a few of them. What a show!! Such a talented bunch! Their songs ran the gamut of interests and ages. So literary 'something for everyone'. Now the fun doesn't end with the show: pictures were taken upon entering the theater. Ours turned out surprisingly good, so we purchased it. Glad we did. Our grandson took it and proceeded to get autographs from the family, who graciously appear in the lobby afterwards for a meet and greet. He was thrilled and I was touched. All this said, GO. You wont be disappointed (unless you really dont like music) and the cost was very reasonable. Have fun!! read more

I can definitely see why this is probably the BEST show in Branson! The theater was packed! They did such a good job of audience interaction, their singing was amazing and all of the special effects really made this show worth seeing! Maybe it's just me, but The Haygoods weren't really a wow show. I'm not very musical, so take this with a grain of salt, but I've enjoyed other Branson shows much more. They definitely have a lot of lights, energy, and the voices are great -- no question there. I just didn't really connect with the show the way others seem to. People kept saying it was a "must-see," so I went... and honestly, for me, it was just okay. If you love high-energy performances with tons of lights and effects, you might enjoy it. But if you're looking for something more heartfelt or traditional, I'd probably skip it and go to another show instead. read more

Let me preface this review by saying that I have seen exactly 2 other shows in my lifetime in Branson. David was the first and it was simply amazing. No other show I've ever seen on or off Broadway compared to it. The other show was SIX. A total a cappella five brother group that was extremely talented. So now we go to the Haygood's. 5 brothers and 1 sister. Want a talented family!! it seemed that every sibling could play just about any instrument as well as sing. Obviously, there were some siblings that were more talented, both vocally, and with their instrument.. they all played multiple instruments and sang as well! No, I'm not going to name names. They compete with each other enough as it is. They had an amazing amount of energy as well as talent, and it showed For the most part, the entire show was very high-tech. Lots of pyrotechnics and lasers and lights. And while I understand the need and reason behind the special effects, there was one spot in the second half. "The flying robot" was just overblown in my opinion. I think it overshadowed the talent. Still, it was an amazing part of the show Absolutely LOVED the gospel part!! Do more. Make a second show for just GOSPEL! I'd love to be at that first show. Wow - what a show! We've been coming to Branson since 2008. We love going to shows. Not sure why it took us 17 years to make it to the Haywood show but we are so glad we made it. We arrived about 30 minutes before showtime and the parking lot was nearly full. We parked in back, at the bottom of the hill up against the trees. When we got into the lobby, we got in the concession line. Concessions here are a bit awkward as the lines for it, impede access to the theater for those coming and going. We got our snacks and were escorted to our seats. We were really close - maybe 8 to 10 rows back, near the center. The pre-show was fun and lasted about 15 minutes or show. The main show opened with much fanfare. The show had so much going on, from music to lights to other effects. It's hard to describe other than to say it was high energy with high talent and high production value. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was also family friendly but be careful with small children that may be afraid of flashing lights, mild pyrotechnics and loud music. We also had a fun treat as right in front of us was Merrill Osmond of the Osmonds with his wife and a few others. He was introduced about halfway into the show and he got mobbed at intermission. The Haygoods is a high-energy, action-packed show. The lights and lazers and off-the wall production sometimes overwhelm the musical talent of this group of siblings. I especially appreciated the quiet times where they reflected on their childhood. It was also mentioned that they support the instruction of music and that if anyone is trying to learn an instrument and can't afford it, to let them know and they would help pay for the instrument. Awesome Performance! They gave us 110%!!! The Haygoods are fabulous musicians, vocalists, athletes, and engineers! The sound was amazing and the lighting and pyrotechnics perfect... (No lasers directly in your eyes) There is something for all ages from age 3 to 100... high energy fiddle and banjo; tapping upside down, to romantic sax, 1960's -80s tunes...beautiful vocals of The Sound of Silence, Hallelujah, Frozen on harp, How Great Thou Art, The Star Spangled Banner and much much more. Look up and see the Jet pack. Watch closely and see Catherine make multiple costume changes in one song. Have you ever seen a dryer used as a metronome? These guys are genius! We attended the Haygoods show in Branson, MO, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, and it was a very entertaining show. We learned that the family has been performing together since they were very young and they have perfected their art for sure! Was so impressed by Catherine with her ability to play six different instruments. The harp was the best! There are signs all over Branson recommending the Haygoods show as the best in Branson and it was really good. We enjoyed the production of David more but the Haygoods came in at a definite 2nd place! Go see both shows! read more

The Haygoods were absolutely phenomenal. Their talent is technical, innovative, and borderline unfair to the rest of us mere mortals. How can one family possibly have all that talent? Singing, banjos, pianos, guitars, saxophones, harmonicas, tap dancing, a harp -- I'm convinced they could make a brick sound good. They even invented their own musical contraption so three of them can play at once -- acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and harp all built into one wild machine. Because apparently "normal instruments" weren't enough of a challenge. There's a driving recliner. Someone literally dances on the ceiling. A clothes dryer becomes a percussion instrument. I half expected one of them to start juggling flaming violins just to prove a point (please don't take this as a challenge Michael, I don't want to read about you on TMZ) . Bottom line: Don't miss this show. It's equal parts spectacle, family reunion, and "what did I just witness?" in the best possible way. And to top it all off they're so genuinely humble about it all, they hang around after to take pics & shake hands with the audience. read more

There's a reason this show is #1 in Branson and they've been there 30 something years... None of them look like they could have been performing in Branson for 30+ years and they have wayyyyyyy more energy than ought to be possible. I've only seen them this one show, but I know that they change it up and keep it relevant because my parents just saw them last year and they saw new content. First trip to Branson and the first show I saw. Supposedly it's the "best" one in town and I can confirm it is after seeing 4 other shows. Very talented and highest production caliber. But honestly, if you're from a big city or have been to Vegas and are used to top name arena performances or shows at or near the caliber of Vegas' top shows, all Branson shows are relatively cheesy albeit on-target for the majority of the audience demographic so I "get it." The fact they basically pause and push DVD sales is slightly offputting and somewhat funny but then you realize there may be older people and those in more rural America that still use DVD players and the souvenir sales helps keep ticket prices reasonable I would imagine. You do get a link to an online version of the video as I personally would just toss the DVDs in the garbage. Like most of the other shows in Branson they weave in both a nod to Veterans and a Christian religious slant. The former is going to be ubiquitously acceptable to any American citizen whereas the latter, while it may hit well with the majority of their audience, is essentially being a bit exclusive and disregarding America is now a melting pot with many religions and Agnostics like myself. I can tell they have carefully tweaked their shows as to appease the Christians while keeping it toned down enough to minimize the number of patrons that might find it non-inclusive and offensive. No wine/beer/cocktail availability as is the case for most if not all shows in the area which I personally don't think should be a requirement to be called a "Family Show" and is also a bit ironic considering there is no open container law so controls regarding alcohol consumption is generally relaxed for the area. They are leaving a lot of extra profit on the table but that's fine by me. Highly recommended to put in your top 3 shows to see especially for Senior Citizens or families with young (pre teen) children but enjoyable to varying degrees for all ages. read more
