I called ahead of time and the man on the phone was very kind. Service was very nice and fast. They work like a well-oiled machine! I needed a Live Scan for screening for foster care processing. I researched online and found this business had the most affordable cost for $18.00. However, because the Live Scan is sent to the Department of Justice and FBI, there was an additional fee of $64.00, totaling $82.00. This charge is not from this business, but from the FBI and DOJ. The walk-in hours on weekdays are very accommodating, great for after work until 7:00pm. Jose was very friendly, efficient, and made it a quick process. There seemed to be a slight issue with my fingerprints being accepted because of the image of my prints with deep grooves and cracks in my prints. These images of grooves seems to be due to the dryness of my skin. I asked if putting on lotion would help and he said it wouldn't. Plus, he has to clean each finger with alcohol and wipe the screen after each print. Jose said there was a 70% chance of my prints being accepted, and if not, I would receive a letter in the mail from the DOJ/FBI within the week. Jose said to bring in the letter and he would redo it free of charge. read more

Felt very safe here getting fingerprints during covid. I called ahead and made an appointment. The employees were masked, there were plexiglass barriers between customers and employees, they have you wait in the hall while the get the paperwork set up, and everyone washes their hands before getting fingerprinted. The guy who did the fingerprinting itself was also wearing gloves. When I went there, no one else was waiting and there were two employees working. I was never within 6 ft of anyone without a plastic barrier between us and the whole thing took maybe 15 min. I needed to get my notary live scan and passport photos. The price for the live scan was cheaper than most places around here. They practiced safe covid-19 procedures, like making me wait in the hall way as the operator processed my paperwork. He makes you wash your hands in the bathroom (door is propped open, so no need to touch the handle). He wore gloves and there was a divider between us as he took my live scan. For the passport photo, I obviously had to un-mask but he's far away and enough and photo is quick enough. You have to make an appointment and the earliest time they had was 2 days from when I called. This is due to covid, so make sure you call sooner than later. It's a clean, respectful office that had two employees (including who I presume is the owner) and a waiting lobby in the building hallway. It's on the 2nd floor of a building that's kind of like a house, with a bunch of small businesses in different rooms, and a salon downstairs. They have their own parking lot which you can enter from Orange Grove. I came to get passport-sized photos taken for an immigration visa to Korea. They were a bit busy so I had to wait about 10 minutes, but no biggie. Their prices are good...for Live Scanning, the fee is only $18 plus the DOJ fee of $32 I believe. That's even a little cheaper than PCC. For passport photos, you can get 2 for $8 or 4 for $12. The process was super quick, pictures were taken and printed out in 5 minutes or less.
