I went for a live scan and was happy. Friendly and best price around. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Came in at 5:30pm to do my taxes and after waiting 30 minutes, I was told that I should come back tomorrow because they're currently working on two people. It was only 6pm by that time and I didnt understand why he was telling me this because there's a whole hour before they close. I was the next person in line and there were about 5 other people after me. I didnt see him telling anyone else to come back tomorrow, I understand some of them may have come for other services like notary or live scan, but I was there before them. What's the point of having a list if you're going to just choose which case you want to work on. I feel so disrespected. What a waste of my time! My parents have been coming to them for a couple years ,so I've given them a try but after today I wont ever be back, they have lost my business. read more

I had to get a live scan completed for a new job. It's a small office located upstairs. The people that worked there were friendly and efficient! read more

This spot was great! Even though the parking lot is small, come in early to avoid a full house. They're quick and the fingerprint specialist knows what he's doing. read more

Fast service and more cost effective . They can help more than one a time. So if you're in a rush or don't like to wait, this is the best spot to go to. They have a few computers and 3 people working there to assist you. read more

Was very satisfied with the experience of getting a Live Scan done here. It's a rather old building with multiple small businesses inside, but there is plenty of signage showing where the office is. I called ahead of time and the man on the phone was very kind. Service was very nice and fast. They work like a well-oiled machine! If you don't have a printer, you can just email the form to them and they'll print it for you. Total cost is $67 and you're in and out super quickly. read more

Ricardo and Jennifer are extremely kind and helpful. I was in and out. Very affordable and if I ever need to get a live scan again I will definitely come here!! read more

I needed a Live Scan for screening for foster care processing. I researched online and found this business had the most affordable cost for $18.00. However, because the Live Scan is sent to the Department of Justice and FBI, there was an additional fee of $64.00, totaling $82.00. This charge is not from this business, but from the FBI and DOJ. The walk-in hours on weekdays are very accommodating, great for after work until 7:00pm. Jose was very friendly, efficient, and made it a quick process. There seemed to be a slight issue with my fingerprints being accepted because of the image of my prints with deep grooves and cracks in my prints. These images of grooves seems to be due to the dryness of my skin. I asked if putting on lotion would help and he said it wouldn't. Plus, he has to clean each finger with alcohol and wipe the screen after each print. Jose said there was a 70% chance of my prints being accepted, and if not, I would receive a letter in the mail from the DOJ/FBI within the week. Jose said to bring in the letter and he would redo it free of charge. read more

wry professional. Very informative and accommodating. I will recommend this place to my friends.

Pretty efficient handling with the live scan. Come in before 4pm because it got busy after. read more

Fast and efficient ! I recommend to go early in case you don't have an appointment. Only down side is that there is limited parking. I found you can park on Marengo (crossing street) . read more

Very fast service with knowledgeable staff. Located on the second floor of a multi-use building.

I needed a passport photo and it was handled quickly and efficiently. Bonus: the service was less costly than many other places I could have gone to! The space is modest and the parking lot is a bit tight. The best part is that the staff is very friendly and had all the right gear to take a proper photo. I would highly recommend their services to anyone needing them! read more

This place deserves 10 stars if possible, amazing, quick service, I was in and out in no time, no drama, I wish all business would be this way. read more

This place is great! I called ahead and Jose was very professional on the phone and set me up for a same day appointment. I had several documents to notarize as well as fingerprinting cards to fill. Jose filled out all the documents quickly and accurately. He was very meticulous. I was also confused about some of the documents but Jose was very knowledgeable and was able to point me in the right direction. He was very courteous and kind. read more

Pasadena Live Scan Service - Too bad they don't have their time listed. Would've saved me some time. - Notaries Near Me - Pasadena, California

Felt very safe here getting fingerprints during covid. I called ahead and made an appointment. The employees were masked, there were plexiglass barriers between customers and employees, they have you wait in the hall while the get the paperwork set up, and everyone washes their hands before getting fingerprinted. The guy who did the fingerprinting itself was also wearing gloves. When I went there, no one else was waiting and there were two employees working. I was never within 6 ft of anyone without a plastic barrier between us and the whole thing took maybe 15 min. Really really appreciate the lengths they're going to ensure no covid transmission happens read more

Went here for fingerprinting (ink) and I enjoyed my experience here. There's a sign about washing your hands and also having a face mask. No issues, i would recommend them to someone if asked. read more

Easy peasy and best prices around. This is nothing fancy but the staff is very kind and considerate and they get you in and out quickly. Definitely worth five stars! read more

Very nice people and fast efficient service. Very reasonable and probably the cheapest you will find. Highly recommend them

Quick and easy. On the more affordable end of livescan locations. Staff was quick to respond and quick to service you. It's located on the second floor. Turn left at the top of the stairs, go down the hall then turn left again and it's straight ahead. read more

I needed to get ink finger prints done for my nursing license as well as passport style photos & notary, (other places were charging $30/card just for ink finger prints) & I was able to get all 3 services done for $55! I was in & out in under an hour! Would definitely recommend! read more

I needed to get my notary live scan and passport photos. The price for the live scan was cheaper than most places around here. They practiced safe covid-19 procedures, like making me wait in the hall way as the operator processed my paperwork. He makes you wash your hands in the bathroom (door is propped open, so no need to touch the handle). He wore gloves and there was a divider between us as he took my live scan. For the passport photo, I obviously had to un-mask but he's far away and enough and photo is quick enough. You have to make an appointment and the earliest time they had was 2 days from when I called. This is due to covid, so make sure you call sooner than later. When I arrived, no one else was there and he was ready to help me right away, which I appreciated. I'd come back here! read more

Walked in with unclear instructions from the licensing agency. Sorted through it and provided physical INK fingerprints. Was in and out within 10 minutes. Fair, upfront pricing. Recommend 10/10. read more

Came in for Live scan service as was recommended to me, 2 story building with hair salon on 1st floor the small office up on the second floor. Service was quick not many people waiting. Paid $50.00 for fingerprints. read more

Enter the building entrance walk up to the second level, you will see a decent little shop with services such as (passport photos, livescan, notary and etc). Reasonable price for livescan (DOJ), only $18. One of the cheapest and least sleazy place. Usually the place I go to for livescan charges me $25, hence, this place is definitely my future go-to place in future. Efficient and friendly service. read more

I needed a picture for my Canadian Passport renewal, which has different requirements. I called Pasadena Live Scan Services and received great service from my initial call to the very end. They paid attention to every details and the price was great, especially considering my unusual request. If you are looking for a Canadian Passport picture, look no further. I highly recommend them! read more

I've came here 2 times so far. First time was for passport photos and a Livescan. The second time was only for another Livescan. Fast service, they accept most major credit cards and cash. Fingerprint service was quick and efficient, so was the passport photos. I got the passport photos within a couple of minutes. As far as Livescans, I've been to another place where fingerprint service took so long because they're machine was not capturing the prints right. However that was not the case here, service was fast and hassle free! I recommend coming here if you need fingerprints and/or passport photos! Another plus, I love they're clean bathroom. read more

PCC live scan service sucks, and they lack skills to do their jobs correctly. They must be seriously retarded. Now this place, Ricardo's Tax services, much much nicer. Much more efficient, polite. useful, and convenient. Thank you Ricardo. I will be back. BTW the neighborhood is NOT shady at all. If you think this neighborhood is shady, you probably have trouble leaving your bedroom first thing in the morning. Relax. Yes, Mexicans and Black people live in Pasadena, but they aren't going to hurt you. Deal with it or stay in Whiteville. read more

This place does Live Scans, Passport Photos, Notarization, and Translation of Spanish-English for documents. It's on the 2nd floor of a building that's kind of like a house, with a bunch of small businesses in different rooms, and a salon downstairs. They have their own parking lot which you can enter from Orange Grove. I came to get passport-sized photos taken for an immigration visa to Korea. They were a bit busy so I had to wait about 10 minutes, but no biggie. Their prices are good...for Live Scanning, the fee is only $18 plus the DOJ fee of $32 I believe. That's even a little cheaper than PCC. For passport photos, you can get 2 for $8 or 4 for $12. The process was super quick, pictures were taken and printed out in 5 minutes or less. The guy is friendly. I'd definitely come back again. read more

Jose Ricardo offers several services: Live Scans, Passport Photos, and Notarisation. I needed a notary for a couple documents and decided to try him out since he had good ratings and a decent website. The place is easy to find--the building is on the corner of Orange Grove and Marengo, and the parking lot (free) entrance is on Orange Grove. He's on the second floor and no appointment is necessary. The process was very quick and fast--you just need to have your driver's license with you since he takes down the information and also verifies that your signature matches it. $10 per signature; not a bad price. Depending on what document you need notarised, you should be in and out in about 5 minutes. read more

Awesome service we talked about how his business is one of the only one that does finger printing for cheap. Really humble guy and you can just tell that he has patients to deal with you. I did my finger prints and he showed me how to fill out the paper and everything he is very clean and a really nice office. read more

Pasadena Live Scan Service - Notaries Near Me - Pasadena, California

Well, although my original review stands, you really ARE the only LIVESCAN place near me, and at a really reasonable price. And the SECOND time I came by, you saw me right away. Also, your fingerprinting technique is pretty good. I've had my fingerprints done more times than I'd care to admit, and the LIVESCAN sometimes takes forever, because of the rolling method that they require. Some places practically engage you in a thumb war, and others have too limp of a method, but you sir: you are a pro. The prints took first time every finger. read more

Ricardo Tax Service offers many services besides just tax service; he also offers live scans, notary & passport photos at a really great price. i called all around and every other place was outrages for passport photos, he was the lowest $8 dollars for two. Really quick service and excellent customer service. Really nice receptionist also working for him. He is right on the corner of Morengo Avenue the parking lot is on a busy intersection so that was the only hard part was getting in and out of of his lot, but other then that everything went really smooth. read more

Went here to get my passport photos. I have gone to other places but this is a first time that I actually felt they did it right. They even put the pictures in a nice holder for you. Other places just give you the pictures in an envelope. I would caution try not to go in that area too much after dark. Not the nicest area to be walking alone. read more

applies only to live scan, i recommend highly. called ahead to confirm, was told any time except 1-2 pm for lunch. i was in and out in less than 15 minutes. price was only $18 - but YMMV; if you do not have an agency billing number on your form, you will be charged more, something about FBI/DOJ checks. they accept credit cards. read more

Called in advance to make sure there would not be a wait. I understand people come in and change that - that's not the problem. He assured me the wait would only be 5 minutes---because I told him I needed to pick up my kids. 20 minutes later I picked up my purse and left. Did not get my live scan nor was able to pick up my kids on time. I don't mind waiting - but I think I prefer honesty or updates better. Not going back - taking my business elsewhere read more
