POOR customer service! I passed on an opportunity for a teachable moment but I didn't believe the lesson would have been received as intended. The young lady storekeeper has been well trained in the business of the store, but lacks customer relations skills. I paid a premium price for a job (with an additional debit card fee!) and the job was not done as requested. I received no apology for the mistake, no compensation for inconvenience, and a poor attitude towards me as if I had made the mistake! Not even an offer for a fix. I refused to leave with the botched job. They finally (reluctantly) agreed to an accommodation. Had I known this would be the case upon pickup, I would not have spent so much additional money shopping for goods in their store. I would not recommend them. read more

Had my work boots repaired here paid the 120 plus the card fee which was 20 bucks or so the sole fell off after using them at work 2 days. Definitely don't recommend turn around was fast but the work they did was terrible. read more

I have a very nice pair of dress Cayman belly Lucchese that split on one toe. I called and a very friendly woman told me the procedure and the price. The repair took less than a week. I bought a pair of handmade caiman belly boots off the shelf from a big name store. They fit well at first but after a few weeks they loosened up to the point where they were uncomfortably loose. I brought them here, my feet were measured and the boots were completely rebuilt to match the measurements (insole, welt, outsole, heel) and now they fit perfectly. Price was reasonable compared to a couple of other shops in Houston I looked at for a similar rebuild ($250). Close to what I would have lost compared to the original price if I had sold the boots as used on eBay or FB marketplace. Turn around time was much shorter than anywhere else - these were done in a week and a half, and all other shops were quoting repair times of 4-8 weeks. read more

Be careful walking next to me, I am a reckless walker. Don't believe me?? Then ask my shoes! (I should probably post some pics on here just to prove my point) Some of my shoes always get hurt in the process of getting from point A to point B. Every time I go in my closet I can almost hear my shoes cringe as I choose my victim for the day. I have learned to live with my reckless walking and sometimes when my shoes die I let them rest in peace, some other times I fight it and send them to a shoe hospital. I've learned to cope with this "condition" by having lots of shoes, that way when one pair dies it is not as traumatizing for ME, I don't know how my other shoes feel about it. You may think this is all just an excuse to buy more shoes, and you are probably right, but I will NEVER admit it! NEVER! The people at Pasadena Custom Boots were super nice and I must add very inexpensive. I've had to pay quite a bit just to replace the bottom part of the heal when it comes off. At PCB I paid $6.50, yeah you heard me right!! I am a fan and from here on declare my loyalty to PCB! I love finding a place that does great work at a good price! My shoes were ready the next day and they did an amazing job with them. They also had a lot of boots for sale. I'm not a boot person but if you are definitely visit them for a pair! One pair of boots that had sole work done was returned to me without any edge finish. Boot sole edge completely unprotected. Today picked up boots that I asked to be stretched in length. Horrible customer service. Bait and switch. I took them a pair of boots that I was considering getting re soled. The boots had a very small hole on the side. I asked them if the hole could be fixed because if not I'm not re soling them. I was assured it'd look good. I picked my boots up and the patch was barely noticeable. I was pleased, looked good.! Two days later the hole opened up again. I called them and they said just drop it off and they'd have it fixed. 6 days later I pick up the boots and they stitched the hole shut. What a joke. This place had lower prices for shining shoes than any other place around here. Mr Cisneros is really nice. He even showed us how he got the shoes to shine and everything. I found a pair of Cole-Haan dress shoes at a local thrift store when I needed a pair of dress shoes for an upcoming wedding. The uppers were great but the soles were horrible. After an internet search and passing up driving over to Kirby or down to Clear Lake, I found the yelp reviews for Pasadena Custom Boots. Dropped the shoes off on Friday afternoon. We agreed I needed new soles and heels. The total cost quoted to me was $55.00. On Wednesday of the next week I received a call from Eddie telling me that the shoes were ready to be picked up. The shoes are fantastic. They did a wonderful job of resoling and cleaning/polishing them. I spent about $63.00 between buying the shoes and having them renewed. Could not be happier. I had a pair of custom boots made with a matching belt and I am very pleased. Mr. Cisneros is a true craftsman and his son Eddy excels at customer service. The process involves getting fitted, choosing your materials and your design elements. I recommend doing your homework in advance so you know generally what you want. You can also look at samples of previously made custom boots. Results take 3 to 5 months but that is less than other custom boot makers. The design work (initials and Texas flag) are excellent and the stitch work is beautiful. This shop has a steady stream of customers for shoe and boot repair so they clearly know the trade. HORRIBLE! Took my boots in to have them altered to fit my thin calves and got back a ruined pair of brand new boots. Sloppy cuts, crooked seams up the back, stitching already coming apart and glue everywhere. The B of a sales lady said that I wasn't going to get perfect because it was an alteration.
