He said we would have them within 2 weeks. After chasing him down for MONTHS we finally got a tracking number in June. They get delivered and it's only the two pairs of children's boots. It's now December, he is ignoring our calls, refuses to refund us, has not sent my husbands boots. He's had excuse after excuse saying that he is at a doctors appointment and can't talk, at his sons graduation and can't talk, his distributor was supposed to send them to us and didn't but "he has them now and will send them today" and doesn't. At this point, I feel like this is nothing short of theft. Hopefully the Holiday Inn rethinks their relationship with having his booth in their lobby.

However, when I went to pick it up, there was a moment of panic when the sandal couldn't be found, despite me presenting the original ticket and proof of payment. Fortunately, I had a photo of the item, which helped them eventually locate it. Still, the incident was unsettling. The shop is noticeably disorganized, with items cluttered in a way that suggests customer belongings might frequently be misplaced, even if temporarily. While the staff and service quality is good, the overall lack of order makes me hesitant to bring anything more valuable in for repair. A bit more structure and attention to organization could make a big difference. Total: $8.00

The service was initially good. They informed me that my boots would be ready in a week. However,…read morethey had to wait for the paint to arrive, which took about a month. I brought in another pair, hoping it would be done in a few days, but it took the same amount of time as my first pair. At one point, I felt like they had lost or misplaced my boots because they told me they were ready but couldn't find them. After chatting with them, I visited the following week and finally got my boots. I loved the boots, and appreciated the great work. However, the organization and lack of communication were the main issues for me throughout the process. I understand that they were in the process of expanding their businesses in the same business lot, which must have been hectic for them. The pricing was good and affordable. Just be consistent with them and always follow up. Otherwise, you might not hear from them until you physically go in person or contact them. Despite these issues, I still consider them good people.

I recommend them to everyone for boot repair, the Lucchese store sent me to them years ago. My BucketList includes a pair of Maida"s Bespoke boots. If you are unfamiliar with the term "Bespoke" here is the definition; Bespoke boots are custom-made footwear designed specifically for an individual, tailored to their unique measurements, preferences, and style. Unlike mass-produced boots, bespoke options offer a personalized fit and can incorporate specific materials, colors, and design elements chosen by the customer. This process typically involves consultations with a skilled cobbler or artisan, ensuring that the final product meets the wearer's exact specifications for comfort and aesthetics. I ended up losing a bunch of weight and they were patient with me as I tried on pants later last year. I do suggest if your starting your nursing school program at a peak time like I did (I started in January 2025), get your scrubs ordered as soon as you have your nursing school orientation and you confirmed what your school wants which is very important if your required to get your scrubs embroidered. It took me a few weeks to get my stuff in but that was because everyone in my program and everyone at surrounding nursing schools were also getting their uniform ordered.
