When he came back two days later because the hats didn't fit, the employee immediately refused to help and pointed to the steaming as the reason (wasn't originally told that this service was an extra charge btw). He checked the receipt, and the return policy clearly states that merchandise can be exchanged within 30 days, with no mention of steamed hats being excluded. Both employees (Didn't get their names, one was a husky, older Hispanics male, and the other a younger Caucasian male) were dismissive and acted like they simply wanted to brush him off rather than help resolve the issue. As he was leaving, they were laughing about the situation, which was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. He came in expecting reasonable customer service and left very disappointed. With brick-and-mortar stores closing left and right, you would think that they would value people walking into their doors and not buying online. I will be filing a complaint with a Better Business Bureau. You can't simply refuse to honor your policies. LIDS should do better.
