Two of my Mylar balloons deflated after a few days when they were supposed to last a week or more. I called the store and explained they had deflated before my party. They offered to top them off, and now they are good as new. Thank you. read more

I really love this business. It's old-fashioned in the sense that it's a local business that you go in-store to order. Great customer service, efficient, easy. They have up to date decorations. They were the only place in Burbank that I could find for a K-pop Demon Hunter balloon bouquet. They put it together on the spot and it was simple, gorgeous, and the price was right. I'm coming back here for party needs more often! read more

I was on a very specific mission for an inflatable guitar and an inflatable saxophone for a party. I drove all over town and could not find them anywhere. I called Party world Burbank and they said they had an inflatable guitar, but not the saxophone. I'm like that's OK, that works. I'll come right over. I came over and he very kindly had an inflatable balloon of a guitar at the front desk waiting for me. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but I needed it really badly for a party so I went ahead and was just about to buy it. He said wait a minute hang on! He went into the main part of the store and he came back with a pack of two guitars and a saxophone inflatable, not a balloon! It was exactly what I needed! I so appreciated him double checking and I was so grateful that I found what I needed after driving all over town all day! They had lots of other cute stuff in there too, so I will be back for another party! read more

I truly feel lucky to have come across this business. I stopped in to ask about balloon arrangements for a company event, and the entire transaction took less than five minutes. It was that easy. I chose a couple of entrance columns, and now watching them being delivered early and set up so beautifully--I am more than satisfied. They were kind, professional, and their pricing with delivery was unbeatable. I'll absolutely be returning and highly recommend them anyone. read more

By far the grumpiest salesperson/owner I've encountered. Questions are treated like an inconvenience, and they scold you for paying by card. Absurd place. Avoid and go elsewhere. read more

I was in a bind and needed helium balloons pumped in my 3 ft decorative balloons. He charged me $10 for each which was a surprise but I still paid it. I'm sad because in less than 24 hours the balloons are already deflating. There is no hole so my guess is the balloons don't have pure helium. If you can go to the party store on vine. My balloons last for DAYS when they use their helium. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Here is why: I had a very negative experience with this store (the other one of the brothers was at the register then), but decided to give it another try today. I asked for the price of the specific balloon and was told that it is $10 inflated. I asked again if the $10 includes inflating the balloon as well and he seller confirmed that. I bought two balloons and two other items, went Home and discovered that that there was a mysterious $1 added to the cost of each balloon on top of the tax. Certainly, the issue here is NOT the $2. The issue here is the INTEGRITY, which this seller is lacking. Thank you, brother. You good richer by $2 and lost your face. Good luck. read more

I had ordered balloons for a birthday party and wanted it to be delivered. When delivered they had mixed up the colors and were missing a few balloons. When I called to let them know that a few balloons were missing his reply was.. (it's ok It happens.. what do you want me to do?) what kind of a reply is that without an apology. Will never shop from there again. read more

So we went here for a gender reveal party. We didn't want to find out. So we took the envelope with the gender to the owner and told him to put that color confetti in a black balloon for us to pop and also give us confetti poppers with that color. I made sure to tell him to remove all the stickers that showed the color of the confetti. They delivered the products on the day of with the color sticker on it and ruined the gender reveal party for us. Horrible service.!!!!!!!! And when I called him he said that oh " maybe they were rushing." Yahhhhhhh that's NO REASON TO RUIN A GENDER REVEAL. Especially when we did so much shopping from him! Wouldn't recommend for a reveal party! read more

I needed 100 balloons delivered nearby for an event and called them the night before (I texted their main number and they responded!). They were great! Way better than party city. My cousin is throwing a bday part for her son in another country. He is into Disney's planes. I went to party city and didn't find anything there for the bday theme. Decided to try this in hopes that I wouldn't find anything either. I was ready to order them in amazon. To my surprise, they have a lot of stuff here. I was able to get almost everything that I needed except 1 item. Thank you Party World!! read more

All my balloons popped because they were under direct sunlight. My fault I admit. But he was the pro after charging me $300 for balloons the least he can do is tell me that it wasn't advisable to set it up at that location. Which was a sunny area of my yard. I'm not a stubborn person nor would I want to throw away the money I paid to have the decor I intended. When I called and told him they are popping, he said I thought they would. I wanted to tell you.... they pop under sun..... What the heck? Why didn't you! That is just deliberate. I asked if he can come and redo or help us move them because they were anchored into the ground and not mobile he said no I'm by myself at the shop sorry Go elsewhere no sense of accountability nor assistance was offered to remedy. Response: I am Not dishonest. I stated that you told me after I called you. I have never posted a negative review or exaggerated anything without reason. Good luck anyway. I waited a month because I frankly forgot to review. And thought to wait until maybe you called me to apologize. I don't want to hurt a new business, but you are clearly careless. Lesson learned on my end. read more

At first was pleased with the pricing and availability of supplies--I had been looking for 40" Mylar letter balloons and at other places they were unavailable completely or charged extra to fill with helium. Here they were available and price for helium was included--very fair! However going to pick up our order was disappointing. I had given my order, my information, and paid for the order one week in advance to make pick up as smooth a process as possible. When I got there the morning of our party, I was asked to wait until their morning shipment arrived for one of the letters I had ordered--not okay!! This is exactly why I ordered one week in advance! The shipment still hadn't arrived in time for the party, so I left the store with a backwards "3" to use instead of an "E". No refund, no discount. Very disappointing. read more

I tried to place an order over the phone and was told VERY rudely and gruffly that they don't take phone orders and I had to come into the store. WHAT? I am sad to say that the experience I had visiting Party World the second time did not meet the expectations that were set after my first visit. My presence was not acknowledged whatsoever the first 10 minutes in the store. When I had a question, I approached the register and asked the man sitting (who was on his phone) for some help and all I got back was someone who was not pleased to have to provide customer service. I am not asking for extraordinary treatment- a smile, however, would not hurt. Long story short, he was quick to answer my questions... Too quick it seemed, to avoid any further questions and when asked for prices, he said they were on the back when in fact, they were not. Nonetheless, the store still deserves two stars because of the excellent variety of party items. Will I be returning? Probably not, only as a last resort. read more
