I planned my own wedding and had MTB Rentals recommended to us by a family friend who works in event planning. From the start they were very responsive and provided quotes within 24 hours and answered any questions we had. My wedding would not have been a reality without the help of MTB Rentals, we rented just about everything from them (flatware, glassware, dinnerware, tables, chairs, decor, the list goes on) I would like to give a shoutout to Caren Flores for being so patient with me throughout the wedding planning process. I was definitely indecisive with which direction I wanted to go with the theme and colors for my wedding so I was constantly changing my order form but she was patient with me and always said to contact her with any further changes. Price wise they are definitely affordable, we had a wedding with a guest count of 64 people and we got all the rentals we needed for $6k as well as additional furniture and decor! They have a great selection for weddings as well. My fiancé and I were looking for a wood hexagon shaped arch and they had it! They had a selection of beautiful wooden tables that it was so difficult to choose the ones we wanted. They had this beautiful wine barrel table that I was hooked to from the moment I saw it! We also needed additional lighting for our venue so we had them come to the venue to measure the area out so we can do market lighting. Whatever theme or direction you go with your wedding I can guarantee MTB Rentals has items that works for it. As for the day of the event, they arrived right on time. They came with a team of men who followed directions and placed everything where it needed to be. They set up the lighting so beautifully that it covered the entire space that required the lighting. My experience with MTB rentals has been unfathomably bad. Never in my life has an organization wasted so much of my time only to be unwilling to provide services in the end. I do not understand what type of business they are running, but I was planning to spend $15,000 on their services. The communication was atrocious, and they never responded on the timing that they said they would. Apparently, they do not really provide lighting. I can't understand why they advertise for services that they are unwilling to provide. They are a bit rude throughout the whole process. Their inventory is stunning which is why I think they get away with such shitty business practices. Brides - WHATEVER YOU DO, do not waste your time, energy and effort on this company that will only disappoint you in the end. This has been my worst wedding vendor to date. The worst customer service ever. I really gave you guys a chance. Called, waited for the inspection. You came out on November 17th and I was told I'd have the estimate within 3 days. Oh and you charged me $55 to come out which I want back by the way. Never heard from you, so I followed up several times. You guys would not pick up or you would keep me on the phone waiting for up to 15 minutes only to have the call hang up. Spoke to 2 different people that told me to wait and you would get back to me. I said I didn't even need an estimate, I was ready to just book everything (which was everything from clear tents, to warmers, lights, tables, chairs, linens, chandeliers, draping, dance floor, bar, and more) Never happened. It's been a month since we first spoke. My event is in 3 days. I'm glad I didn't trust you and found another RELIABLE supplier just in time or I wouldn't have an event at all! I did call you back just now to follow up for the sake of it, only to be placed on hold for another 15 and have the call disconnect. You guys are awful. You seem to do good work, I just don't understand how you even get the job done. I was ready to spend thousands with you and you didn't even have the courtesy to send an email or a text, nothing but you were quick to charge me $55 and send someone to my location. If you're too busy then don't do that. If you can't follow up, don't take on more customers. Read the reviews very carefully before you trust this company with your wedding logistics. The comments on lack of responsiveness and awful customer service are true. I've contacted a number of wedding vendors, including other chair rental companies that were very prompt in communicating with us and always gave the courtesy of a response if I had to follow-up. I contacted MTB nearly a month ago for a quote, and am still waiting for a response on next steps, after indicating I want to put down a deposit and summarizing my repeated attempts to contact them (Marcia Arroyo is not responsive at all). Not being able to finalize my order is significantly impacting my wedding planning and making me question if they will even be reliable on the big day. Their website claims "they value integrity and accountability" and "communication" -- take all of that with a grain of salt. I'm writing this review because I hope others understand how bad their customer service is, and that there are many other vendors who will give you better service for your business. read more

OUTSTANDING! My husband and I planned our entire wedding ourselves... We rented a beautiful estate in Malibu for our wedding... it was perfect. Exactly what we wanted... a BLANK CANVAS that we could make our own... individual. special. We had a 15 month engagement to give us time to make everything perfect and find the right vendors.. I actually selected another vendor for rentals early in our planning process but their services/offerings did not end up meeting our wedding day vision. So it was back to the drawing board. We searched on Yelp and found MTB rentals. They were the perfect fit for our vision. From our first call, the customer service team was helpful. We had a site walk through to discuss where we envisioned everything and how our wedding would come to life. One item to note and a HUGE point of differentiation for us: they are truly patient and accommodating... we had a few last minute edits to our order and it was no problem for them at all. They were even able to accommodate a last minute heater request so that our guests were not cold at night. On the weekend of our wedding the installation team came and set everything up on Friday evening. They came back and took everything down on Sunday morning. We were able to sit back and enjoy our wedding weekend. We built our wedding from a blank canvas with MTB's help and we would do it again for another event. We are so thankful to have found them. MTB is great AND affordable - the lethal combination I was looking for when planning our wedding! I found MTB because they were a suggested vendor on our venue's website (Maxwell House/Pasadena), and when I received their very reasonable quote and deposit policy, they were the clear winner out of the 4 companies I'd contacted. My fiancé & I went to their offices to check out the rental items a couple of months prior to the wedding - and Melissa was so sweet and helpful - MTB for sure has fantastic customer service. It was good we saw the items in person though because we upgraded certain items (i.e., paying 5 cents more for the Rialto utensils at dinner made a huge difference, and we went from white plates to silver trimmed salad & dinner plates). Melissa also arranged all of the items together on a table so we could choose between different place settings and glass combinations. Coordinating drop-off was easy and went smoothly, and although I sometimes had to email a couple of times, if I called I always immediately spoke with someone capable. I loved how tireless MTB was working with me - adjusting the invoice a ton of times (with all of the RSVP changes), and letting us know "drop dead" days & times for the final order (as we were waffling about renting 4 heat lamps, and ended up renting 2). Our caterer (not full service, hence needing a rentals company) typically worked with Classic Party Rentals (expensive and full of up charges), but there was no comparison to MTB's service & pricing so we never wavered on our decision. Calculating the rentals was a bit of a pain (nothing to do with MTB), but we basically ordered our RSVP number + 10 for all plates, glasses, and utensils, and everything worked out great. MTB was professional, punctual and easy to work with, the rentals were clean & in great condition - they were perfect on our wedding day this past Sunday. I highly recommend this company! read more
