I went in to try a pastille and batido. They could not make any batidos I was told and I was not a coffee drinker. So I grabbed a guava pastillo to go. It was delicious.

Great speedy service. Get there early to get a guava pastry. They have the entire variety of traditional Cuban pastries. Moderate seating options, casual environment.

I was very lucky to find Party Cake Bakery. I would give this the title of the best little bakery/café in Little Havana. This place is the bomb.!! If you're ever in Little Havana this is a must stop. The pastries are amazing. You can get.Patelitos, Empanadas, Flan, Breads, Cakes, Fruit tots of all flavors, Croquettes, All kinds of Cuban delights, including breakfasts or just Cuban coffee. This is actually a little bit of Cuba in Miami. This is one busy little Bakery. be prepared to be in line but only for a few minutes the line will look long, but the staff moves extremely fast and efficiently and you move very very quickly. I was surprised. I believe the place is for two reasons. First all the locals I'm sure most of the people that have visited little Havana before we go here to get a taste of Cuba. Secondly, the bus stop for the big bus and all the other tour lines is right directly in front of this bakery, so it does seem to get packed quickly. When I was there a walking tour stopped and everyone came in thank God I was in front of them must've been about 25 people in the walking tour and every single person stood outside and ate their pastries. I saw all happy faces. They do have a Cuban sandwich but unfortunately on this trip I had one down the street at a friends lounge so I indulged in the empanadas which were full of meat. The exterior was crunchy and flaky. Absolutely delicious. if you are from Florida I am not sure about the parking situation but it would be the same as all of Little Havana. I'm sure on a side street. There's a spot. Such a busy place it seem to be clean. You could see some of the pastries being made upfront. All the staff were polite and looked like they had great hygiene. Definitely the spot to go in Little Havana for any of your Bakery needs. Make sure you go in and get a taste. You'll leave with a smile.

We were on a private tour and this was one of the stops to try the Cuban coffee and grab a quick snack. The coffee is delicious and the chicken empanadas was also tasty. We also tried a lemon dessert which was very lemony, great texture also. Now let me tell you about the fresh squeezed orange juice. When I tell you it tasty like you're eating an , nothing added. The machine they use is right behind the register. The prices are amazing also! The wallpaper is flamingos and it goes all the way I to the restrooms. The restroom was clean as well.

The displays of treats looked amazing! We knew we had to come back after lunch to grab some. What we got: Mini Fruit tart: this was pretty good! My fav out of the 4. Custard was tasty, crust was a good consistency and fruit were good. Key lime tart: a little too sweet. Needs more tart. Chocolate treat: my daughter said it was ok and she is a chocolate lover. Flan: this was very sweet and texture was thick. These were 3-4 bucks a piece.

Stopped in for some Cuban pastries. We got a selection of pastries for less than $10. No complaints and worth the walk!

I love this place but was very disappointed in my last visit. I ordered a breakfast meal which was subpar at best. I was so sad because I usually love their breakfast! We also waited what felt like forever to get a simple order for a pan con bistec and breakfast (egg, bacon, and tostada). I guess because it is a touristy area they get very busy during certain times. I would highly recommend getting their pastries or croquetas because to me they have the best in Miami! Only other thing to note is there's barely any seating while you wait for food.

Fantastic bakery with cheap, fresh pastries. I loved everything I ordered and had to go back in line to get more to bring back to California.

This place is crazy busy! It's small so seating is limited and tables are not cleaned timely. To go is the best option. They have a great variety of options. We went with the guava and coconut pastelitos , it was fresh with generous filling of coconut and guava. Reasonable priced for the size of the pastry. Looking at the price list and portions of cakes and pastries it appeared to be comparable. I can't speak for other items by look at what the crowds were ordering empanadas and pastelitos were the top choices here.

So much Cuban pastries and deserts. If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to go. They also serve Cuban coffee. The service was fast. The guava pastry was so delicious .

Party Cake Bakery is a bakery located in Little Havana on Calle 8. The genesis for this bakery began in the 1980's when Olga and Juan Montano found their passion in the baking industry. Olga, from Las Tunas, Cuba, grew up decorating cakes with her grandmother Aida. She became a cake decorator for Publix Supermarkets where she hosted grand openings and made commercials for the company. Her husband Juan from Pinar del Rio, Cuba, became interested in baking while making deliveries for a Miami French bakery. After studying the pastry chefs at the bakery he also became a pastry chef. He got a job a Publix which is where he met Olga. After 10 years of working for Publix the couple realized their dream of opening their own 1,300 square foot bakery on May 1st, 1993, on the west side of Miami. From these humble beginnings the family has expanded to 13 Party Cake Bakeries throughout Miami. This Party Cake Bakery is located in Little Havana beneath the Celia Cruz mural. They are famous for their ham and beef croquetas and pastelitos de guayaba with a cafe con leche. Their extensive collection of desserts include natilla, tres leches, and arroz con leche. I stopped in for pastelitos, puff pastries filled with sweet and savory fillings. It might actually be illegal to leave Little Havana without them and I certainly don't want to break the law. I got my box of excellent cheese and guava which I kindly shared with my family and which made them very happy.

If you're looking for the BEST guava and cheese pastelitos, you're here, you've arrived, don't leave! I had been craving nonstop a good guava and cheese pastelito since I breathed the airplane smell at the airport when you service. So the urge to get a pastelito in Calle Ocho was a must for me. Where will I find the best one? That was my mission. And my mission was accomplished. The awesome friends at La Colada gourmet left us with a delicious Cuban coffee taste and the awesome girl at Dos Croquetas told us exactly where to find what our pastelito craving was needing. Here we were, at the best spot to get any Cuban pastry your heart desires but my heart desired just one specific one. Because we had already been snacking around and were about to have lunch, I only had room in my belly for one of these cheesy guava delights. Sadly, I made the mistake of NOT taking a whole tray to go which I still regret. What I don't regret, is that delicious guava and cheese that lives rent free in my taste buds. If you're craving just one, I recommend getting 10. So you have some for later
