It used to be run by some scary people doing sketchy things. Once I pulled in for an oil change and they informed me that they didn't have any oil or any oil filters (?!). That was then, this is now. Open for ~2 years now, family owned and operated it is clean, friendly, efficient and reliable. Prices are reasonable, staff are helpful and polite and they seem to actually care about the customer's satisfaction. Let's support locally owned/operated businesses, especially ones that deserve our patronage.

Then later it came on and stayed on. I pulled over (at 1:am and 7 miles from home) and let the oil settle before I checked the dip stick. When I did, there was barely a drop on the end of it. I looked under the car and there was a puddle of oil. Had it towed to Walmart and the next day I walked there to have them look at it. When they did, they said the oil filter came off in only HALF of a turn. It was never tightened down. They ran new oil through and metal shavings came out. They said I would have ruined the engine had I tried to make it home. I DEFINITELY can't recommend this place.

They looked my car over and found the problems, providing me with details and what could be fixed now and what could wait. They provided me details, cost, etc. and kept me apprised of progress. Additionally, they provided me a loaner car. This was a godsend as I was going to daily radiation therapy for cancer. I was so pleased with their care, I also asked them to give me an oil change as I knew it would be needed soon. I feel the cost of the work was very fair and will have the continue with the other things we found and put on hold. Great business!

After dealing with police, the other driver's, insurance, etc it became time to call a tow truck for my vehicle. When I contacted H&H I explained my situation that I had been involved in an accident and was in need of a tow. With an audible sigh, the female that answered the phone asked me where I was located. After telling her, she replied, "like I know where that is. What is the address?!" I explained again that I had been in an accident and I wasn't sure the address but was at a major name car dealer in the area on a main street. She again replied rudely, "I need to know where you are if you expect my help!" I in turn asked her if I was bothering her or if this wasn't the normal function of her job. She slowly stammered that she just needs to know where I am. I politely ended the call by telling her I would call another company. In short, do better! Most people aren't calling for a tow for fun, usually something unpleasant has occurred to result in needing that service. So to be treated inconsiderately and rudely is uncalled for.
