Have been going to Scott's garage to have my vehicles fixed for over 25 years. Just out of curiosity I was looking over the reviews. Let me say that this guys knows how to fix cars, hands down. He is very honest and will tell you what he believes to be the problem. Always friendly and has gotten the job done for us dozens of times over the years. took the wife's car there for heat on passenger side and cold on drivers when heat was on and back up camera not working. They called said it was ready. i went down paid for the repairs and as i went to leave the back up camera still was not working. One of the mechcanics came over did a few things with a scanner and it was working, so i left. i got home and turned on the heat and there was no heat on either side. I put in in reverse to take the car back to them and the vback up camera wasn't working again. they took the car back and got both working again, so i took it home. The next morning my wife got in it to go to work and the back up camera was not work8ing again. i called when they opened and the owner proceded to tell me, "it was working when you left". meaning i guess he wasn't doing anything else for me. I went down after my wife got out of work to get our money back for the camera repairs that didn't work and the owner said thats not happening, it was working when you left. so now to the dealership where we will have to pay even more now to get the back up camera actually fix. don't go there for repairs as i am now under the impression they don't know what they are doing. read more

took my car in for trouble accelerating and smoking/burning smell and Scott the scamer gives the run around saying it's this and not that then charges 300 dollar to replace a valve cover gasket that he claimed was the issue only for the issue to persist quite literally the next day. he never took it out and test drove or anything. my brother brought his 77 corvette out there 2 years ago and he gave us the run around for 3 weeks saying he would get to it only to never even touch it forcing my brother to take it somewhere else. he's constantly lied about whats wrong on cars to charge more. he is very unprofessional and acts like it's not his job to fix cars. would NEVER recommend going here unless you want to get overcharged and told that multiple other things need fixed. not to mention when he claimed my moms car needed a new power steering pump last year saying it was leaking and would fail and would cost over a grand to fix.... never had a issue with it since and it never leaked to begin with. Terrible business and even more terrible Person. Scott the scammer is the last person you want to do business with. read more

Let me sart off by saying i have called this shop 2 times and each time they have left a really bad taste in my mouth. I would not trust them to work on my car or anyones car deapite having heard they are somewhat decent. I callled last year asking how much it would be to remove my 1997 tahoe engine. I know from prior experience from other shops it would only cost about $1000 - $1500. They guy told me "i will remove that engine for $3000"....i asked why...he said "that thing is probably so rusted out that its not worth my time unless i do it for $3000." I was just shocked when he said that because i can drive the truck to his shop....engine has 360k miles and i just wanted to get it refreshed. Fast forward a year...i called him to replace the condenser in my 2015 sierra. I already have the part and the shop manual on how to repalce it but i dont have the ac equipment to do it. The guy i spoke to said he would do it for $700. What he didnt know I called the dealership before him and the dealer quoted me $700 with them buying the part and $500 with them installing the part i got. I asked the guy at kings motors why so expensive and he said "the recharge is $145 and the rest is labor. I put on an extra hour cause im not making money on the part." Again i was just floored at what he said. You would have made money on the labor and the recharge. R134a costs $6 dollars at autozone for a 12ounce bottle...my truck requires 24ounces of R134a. How would you not have made money on doing the labor and the recharge? Super shady shop. I would not recommend this place to anyone in the mason area! read more

Let's say I called the field man Chevy dealership just needed an new battery and alternator and got no call back which was very disappointing,,but I'm from kansas and one of my work friends told me about this place and I called and less than two hours new battery and alternator installed in my work truck thank you to all the awesome guys who work at kings motors and btw what an cool shop vintage bikes and cool Knickknacks all around to look at ,also talked with them while they worked on my the truck and had great conversations I will definitely be coming back to king motors ,your friend Connor :) read more

I've been thrilled to be here. We were nervous about finding a new mechanic after our old one closed up shop--but I have been really happy. They've fixed a few things for us now--good diagnostics, fair pricing, and they've stood behind their work when we had a problem (even though the problem was not their fault--faulty part). And the staff has been polite and kind and gone above and beyond for me on a couple of occasions. Their business card is wedged in the console for the day when I need it again. read more

I took my car to King Motors on 4/15/18. My windshield wiper quit working and was told by multiple people they do great work. While dropping my car off, I was told I would receive a call letting me know the diagnosis. Hours and hours later, I get sick of waiting and decide to call and ask. They had already fixed the problem without consulting with me first about price or anything. Turns out it was a gear that became stripped. I ask what I owed them and they said $25. I was so happy and excited I had my bf take me to pick it up. I walk in and tell them I'm here to pick up my car. I ended up with a $115 bill, when I asked why it was quoted so low they said it must of been a mix up. Okay, still I was so happy to have it working again. So I pay the outrageous fee and leave. The very next day I head to work, guess what? The windshield wiper doesn't work again... And of course it's raining. I make a trip out of state to see my dad, who is a mechanic and has been for over 30 years. He tears it apart, which wasn't very hard considering they didn't put anything back the right way or in the right place. The mechanic from King Motors didn't fasten a bolt tight enough and that's why it quit working again... With all of this being said, I DO NOT recommend anyone take their vehicle to this shop! read more
