Update: Poor communication, no clear timeline, and harassed by Jesse via text. Receipt below…read more I personally would not recommend DFW Bimmer based on my experience. They had my 2015 BMW for over a week, from Tuesday until the following week Friday, and the lack of communication throughout the process was extremely frustrating. I reached out by text for updates and was often left without a response. I was told on Monday that a specialist should be coming sometime that week to address the DME issue. When a friend called on my behalf yesterday, however, he was told it could be another one to two weeks while they waited for a computer or specialist. They did repair an oil seal leak, which I acknowledge, but the remaining electrical/DME issue was still unresolved. My biggest concern is that I was left without my vehicle for this long without clear communication about the delays or a reliable timeline for getting it running again. I explained that I was struggling without a car and needed to know what to expect, but I never received the clarity I needed. Being without transportation affects my daily life, work, and responsibilities, and I could not continue waiting indefinitely without answers. Ultimately, I had to arrange another tow and take my BMW to a different European auto repair shop because I needed to pursue another option rather than wait another week or two with no guarantee of a resolution. I understand that complicated BMW electrical issues can take time to diagnose and repair. My issue is not simply that the repair was taking longer than expected; it's the poor communication, lack of transparency about the timeline, and the position I was left in after my car had been there for so long. Based on my experience, I would not return or recommend this shop to others. Customers deserve honest updates, realistic expectations, and communication when a repair is delayed. Update, new place said they fried my computer by over testing to see what was wrong with it. Also, harassed and pretty much threatened for leaving this comment.

Turned out, it was a problem they couldn't fix (Ford is a pain in the backside). So, they charged us for nothing but the labor to look into it. Because of their honesty, we took our vehicle in when one of the door handles randomly snapped off one day (really shouldn't do that on a 2016 vehicle). They were wonderful and kept us apprised of the progress and pricing every step of the way. We even had them perform our state inspection while they were at it, which was a great value. The staff was super friendly and helpful every step of the way and zigged when we zagged (it was a particularly bad week for cars for us). Everyone we encountered seemed very trustworthy, the price seemed fair and the finished product is perfectly acceptable. We will be using Christian Brothers for our auto shop needs in the future.

I've been to their shop a few times. This last experience has lost me as a customer…read more They held my car for almost a week and made lots of excuses like "the tech is still looking and hasn't found the issue yet". The problem was very obvious, and it was explained with great detail, and should not have taken so long. It was all just excuses. They also added a laundry list of problems they found and inflated the bill. They even made up a problem and tried to quote me $6000+ for repairs. I could buy a new car for this price, this repair is almost more than the value of the car. In the end, I paid $3300+ and I don't believe they did all the work they claimed. They charged me to change one of my fog lights and never did it too. This whole experience proved to me they have no integrity and make stuff up to suck as much money as possible out of the customer. They all had guilty smiles on when I was in their office paying. They tried to get me to pay for a large, non-critical repair. Going by the experience I had, I am suspicious they may have left things "loose" to create a car problem down the road. The car still has a rattle in it, and this was the reason I brought it in. In the end, I had to wait a week, waste money using Ubers, lied to, bill inflated, did not do all the work they listed, and possibly sabotaged my car to have failure later. This car is pretty new. I have been very gentle with it and always do regular maintenance. The car only has 70k miles on it. They essentially tried to con me. I am posting this so others can see what sort of tactics they use. I will be using a different mechanic and I am going to have this mechanic shop do an examination of the car. The car is fairly new. It should not have all these problems. Either they lied or created them and tried to suck $6000+ from me. Even the $3300+ I paid was ridiculous. EDIT: I am probably going to do a chargeback because I believe they frauded me. My car is worse off since they touched it. I came in for something that was more of a "noise inconvenience", not a major repair. When they came back to me and named a list of repairs, I agreed because I figured the car would be immaculate. This is not the case. My car is worse. They wanted to upsell me on more repairs and I declined. The noise is worse, I hear parts rattling. I am nervous now about my tire coming off the axle or some other major malfunction and it causing me to get in a major wreck. I know they will try to blame me. But you can simply check the miles when I went into their shop and the current miles it has now. Not even 500 miles have been put on it since. All local driving. It is also obvious they did not do all the work they claimed. I wish I never allowed them to touch my car because now it feels broken. The car was fine before.

I was given a list of repairs to complete on my vehicle and I initially declined a transmission flush because my stepfather who is a mechanic in another city advised against it. Alan would not take no for an answer on this. After I expressed concerns multiple times, he assured me his mechanic said this service needed to be done. I hesitantly agreed to this and other repairs totaling $1900. When I picked up my vehicle it was no longer drivable, stalling every time I idled. They said I would have to pay $2500 for transmission repairs to make my vehicle drivable again (which I refused given the vehicle was not worth that much). The very first thing I found on Google is that it is NOT advisable to perform a transmission flush on a vehicle over 100k miles because it will worsen the problem and cause the vehicle to stall (my car had 160k). When I expressed frustration with this I was told my transmission was already shot before they began work and it wasn't their fault. So why did they advise me do nearly 2k worth of repairs knowing my vehicle would likely become completely unusable? Also, Alan was very aggressive, defensive and rude. I had to ask him multiple times not to raise his voice at me since I was not speaking to him that way. Clearly they either do not know the first thing about transmissions OR they maliciously did this flush in order to require me to pay an additional $2500 to get my vehicle working again. They did refund only the cost of the transmission flush but I am still out $1600 and have a car worth less than 1k after their service. I have been advised I could take them to court over this but decided I need the peace of just being done with this situation. Please don't trust these people with your vehicle!

I pulled with the intent to have transmission work done, resigned myself to its potential high cost and picked Jr' s on vine st. Euless. Tx. red flag #1- I walked in and was scared to death by a growling barking dog at my heals. The lady at the counter assured me it's a "good dog" while sreaming at it to stop. Red flag #2- Counter lady ask what's wrong with my truck , as a guy leaning on counter listens, I explain my problem. Counter lady says jimmys at lunch, back in about, 30 min, I say ok I'll wait. Guy at counter asks "what's it doin".(i just explained, counter lady rolls her eyes, shakes her head like "oh no here we go") so I ask the guy are you a tech, a mechanic,? he say,s "no, I just work on 'em"...counter lady rolls her eyes shakes her head again. I told him I'll wait outside. Red flag #3- I'm sitting in my truck checking messages from my phone, counter guy walks up to my window "so it won't do what?" he says .My door was halfway open and he starts looking at the sticker on the inside of the body frame and says 05/88 and then walks away. Last and final Red flag, JIMMY GOES DOWN IN FLAMES... Why jimmy (jr''s, euless transmission) is a terrible businessman and mechanic A short fellow comes flying out the front door, pounds his fist on my hood and yells, "open the hood!"...I got out of the truck, and ask, "Who are you"? He says "jimmy, open the hood" .at this point I'm simply amazed at the raw idiocricy of this place I'm actually amused. So I open the hood, jimmy then says "well....(I look at him, like "what"?)...start it up bro"...I'm no longer amused and tell him my name. The plastic fan guard enclosure was scraping on the fan blader, making a loud noise. I started to adjust the wire I had previously restraining it, he said "hey bro that's not it, you've got big problems your motors gonna blow up" and he walked inside the store. I'm thinking to myself, "wow...is this place for real"? I adjusted my wire, (3 minutes) motor running, noise gone. Jimmy walks out, says I have to move because he's "got people coming in" (this is an approximately10 spot lot with two space filled, mine and counter lady vehicles.) I'm just looking at him in disbelief of the situation. He then says" "I'm not trying to be an a**hole"...(im thinkin then what persona are you goin for?) "But I got people coming in".... So that's that....I started thinkin the "people coming in" was the banks repossession company"

I always get cars checked by a mechanic before I buy, and it's a good thing, too: Oscar here got it up on the hoist and immediately identified frame damage and a nasty transmission leak that I couldn't see without getting up under the car. It was pretty clear there was an accident that hadn't been reported on the Carfax and that the dealership hadn't bothered to disclose because they were hoping to unload it on someone. Oscar was angry on our behalf about it, too, and he even gave us a discount on their usual assessment fee for a new car because, as he said, "you took a loss on the car before we even bought it!"
