This review is more like a 4.5 out of 5 stars. this review is strictly for the rock trail... I'm sure the other parts of the park is nice, but I really wanted to check out the rock trail. I saw pictures of it on social media and wanted to see it in person. To get there, I parked at the church at the cross. Not sure if that's the proper parking lot, but I parked on a Sunday and it was Sunday service so plenty of other cars were parked next to mine, and I wasn't worried about being towed. If you park at the church at the cross, it'll take about a 10 minute walk to get to the rock trail. The rock trail isn't long, but it's so cool to see all the different artwork people have painted onto rocks. They also encourage you to take a rock home to paint and bring it back next time to add to the park. There are certain segments of the trail that's dedicated to certain things... Like sports teams, TV shows or colleges. I highly recommend spending an afternoon here and take your time looking at all the different rocks.

We went to see the rock trail. It requires some walking, about 15 mins to get to the trail. However, we were enjoying the view and kept taking photos everywhere. When you get to the trails, you'll know why it's worth it. So many beautiful arts and fun designs. We would've bring our own designed rock there next time so we can leave ours there too! It's definitely a fun experience!

Absolutely loved this trail! Easiest way to get there. Is to park at the church then walk right across the trail right next to playground. There will signage up directing you to the trail! Loved seeing all the beautiful rocks! Easy walk I'll be back

Highly recommend coming here alone or with the whole family! Copied from internet "On September 8, 2021 officials with the Guinness World Records visited the Rock Art Trail and evaluated their quality for a total of 24,459, beating the previous record of 8,542. According to a news release from the city, the trail first began as a way to inspire and uplift the community during the coronavirus pandemic."

Met some friends with kiddos here a few weeks ago. The place was packed as there was a birthday party. All the kids were having a blast. A lot of playground equipment and a water area for warmer weather. The only reason I couldn't go with 5 stars is because some of the equipment had open areas where a child could step right off- fall - and break a bone at minimal. My girlfriend said the parks get around that by putting signs on the different areas of what age the kids should be. Well okay but when a 7 year old is excited you can't tell me there is a huge difference in how much attention they are paying compared to a 3 year old. From a grandmother's point of view they could both step right off. ‍ Anyway it was a great visit. There is plenty of parking, picnic tables and restroom facilities.

Beautiful park in Grapevine. We spent a lot of time walking the trails, including the art rock park area. So much to see. Thousands of rocks and room for thousands more.. Trails are wide and clean. While they were crowded, most were doing what they could to social distance. The main bathroom area was also clean and well maintained.

What a fun park for the kids. We accident stumbled upon this park while we out shopping. The kids needed a break and some space to run around. What a nice area and the play ground was clean. Lots of space for tag and hide and go seek.

This is a hidden gem! So many beautiful pieces if work nestled down a scenic tree setting. The path is paved for easy wheelchair, stroller, bike or walking access. An awesome way to social distance and get some steps in while enjoying a beautiful "art gallery".

Great outdoor activities for the kids to climb & play on - basketball courts too. There are nice walking trails towards the tree line. The walk to the rock park inside is about a mile into the trails, so be prepared for the distance if you park at Pharr Park parking lot. If you want to reach the rock park quicker, it's easier to park at Church of the Cross and walk the main path into the trails. Look at my pics and map screen shots to get an idea of distance from the Pharr parking lot vs the Church of the Cross parking lot to the rock park. If you park at the church lot, go back all the way to the left back corner. The rock path has a nice variety of art rocks. Kids and adults will enjoy equally. I am posting only a FEW of the rocks I saw. The rest need to be seen in person :) Special THANK YOU to all the artist who have contributed to the rock park to make this path a special place!!!

I took my fur-baby here for a walk today since its finally getting cool enough to be outside. The trail I went on was half shaded and partly sunny. It also had quarter mile markers. PLUS it has doggie bag stations, water fountains along the trail (one for the pup too). It was still pretty warm that day so I only did a mile walk. But there is tons of play area for kids to run around and nice bike paths. They even have the road seperated with lines. Let's just say it was big enough for the family next to me who arrived at the same time, go on another path and I did not encounter them for the time I was there, we even left at the same time. I plan on going back and exploring further on a cooler day.

Cool place, just be aware of where to go to see the painted rocks. If you start at Parr park, it will be a distant walk.

I only had two sets left, mind you, and my sweater was on machine, I was getting ready to sit in it and use it, and the employee starts unracking my weights. I said "excuse me, I am using this and he said well we are moving it"! Never ever would this happen at 24 hour fitness or any other commercial big or small private gym. They know how to put their patrons first at those other places. IF he actually was taught to put members first, he would've let me finish the extra three minutes it would have taken me to complete my sets... never going back here. Or they could've put a sign to not use machine, like all other gyms in the world do. I have been a personal trainer all my life and never have I witnessed anything like what happened to me here today. If you're serious about your workouts and your time in the gym, don't bother with this incompetent staff that doesn't know how to put paying members first. What I experienced today is like eating at a restaurant and while you're in the middle of taking a bite of your half eaten burger, the waiter comes to your table and grabs your plate with your fries from underneath you. Who does that? LOL. But that is not the worst of it.. after the manager talks to me, the rude employee that kicked me off my machine (older man) comes over to where I am and rolls his eyes and tells me "get over it"!!! I've never been spoken to so poorly by a grown man. Shame on him for speaking to a lady that way. Zero respect, zero common sense, zero gym etiquette or know how. These people are running a joke of an establishment and their employees know nothing about serious training or why people actually go to the gym and yet they work at a gym. Canceled my family's membership and never going back to this dump.

Andy Brown is a beautiful space, from the pond to the open fields, the sidewalk/bike path, multiple large pavilions, and fun playground. There are large, mature trees surrounding the park. We parked in the wrong lot and had to walk alongside the gym in order to get to the playground and I couldn't believe how beautiful the pathways were with all the trees and the small creek running alongside. Not what I expected from a city park! The playground itself ("Kid Country") is almost fully enclosed and is a sprawling assortment of things to climb up, swing on, and slide down. There is a play area in the toddler section with storefronts to spark pretend play. The ground is bark. There are large trees in the center of the play area that provide shade and make the play structure look more natural than your typical playground. Almost like a tree house. There are benches scattered throughout the play area and a large covered pavilion with multiple picnic tables underneath. The city of Coppell provides free WiFi there and there were multiple moms with laptops out, working, while their kids played. The only big negative is the distance from the playground to the bathroom. I understand that they probably built the bathrooms more toward the center of the park, but the wise choice would have been to also put an additional small restroom right next to the playground. It's too far of a walk for me to feel comfortable sending my younger kids over there alone and it's kind of a bummer to have to wrangle together the entire group every time one kid has to pee. Otherwise, a fabulous park. LOVE IT. Hats off to you, Coppell!

He loves waterparks more than anything in life, but we've already been to Great Wolf Lodge on multiple occasions, and we preferred to book with Bonvoy points over shelling out the cash for GWL. Plus, we didn't have a ton of waterpark time on the schedule - win, win, win. One thing that was frustrating is that there was zero record anywhere on the internet of the height requirement for the slides here. Well, internet, I'm here to save you with the answers. We have a son that was 43" as of this visit, and he would be crushed to get his hopes up about doing these slides, only to find out that he's not allowed to. There's one big water "castle" with 3 slides. Those requirements are 42". We actually came here a couple of years ago and he definitely did those slides then, and he was most certainly not 42" then. So I'm not sure if they just changed these or they just weren't enforcing the rules in 2023, but they definitely were measuring him on this visit. Then there's one bigger water slide that's stand alone. The requirements are that you have to be 48" to ride freely, but 42-47" is ok with a life jacket. And then the same restrictions apply to the zip line where you can jump in the water after hanging from several feet above the water. The annoying thing about this was that we were there early in the morning and were the only ones doing it. Yet the lifeguard literally measured my son each time he walked up, despite the fact that he was literally doing it over and over again with no one else around. Make it make sense. Overall, this is not the most amazing waterpark you'll find. But when you book with points, all you have to pay is the resort fee and for parking. It's pretty good bang for your buck when you think about it in those terms.

Clean bathrooms and just overall, the park areas are well kept. Amazing playground for kids/players to hang out. Fields are labeled to find easier. Amazing concession with fresh grilled food you can order (burgers, sausage on a stick, etc). We also had the opportunity to visit and play at the Softball Complex fields. Very nice fields and a batting cage area before the main entrance (on the small parking lot side). At these fields the sun comes in way more even with some of the covered bleacher seating (Bring your portable fans, stadium chairs for convenience, small cooler, etc.). Not as much room for your own chairs at these fields like the other baseball fields. Some of our team parents sat behind the last row of bleachers, near the trash cans so it was kinda tight.
