My family and I love Dove Park! It's within walking distance from our home and right next to our school Dove Elementary. The park is pretty well maintained, and relatively clean most of the time. Most importantly the equipment works for the kids. You can stop here anytime during the day at there will be at least a couple of kids here at any given time. The park itself also contains Dove Pool, a skate park, basketball courts, soccer field and tennis courts. All of the above are well maintained and cared for. In addition to this the playground has shade built into it, mulch and some sort of rubber substance for the ground incase kids trip and fall. Overall this park is a great place to bring the kiddos or go for a walk to escape the humdrum of home. I highly recommend!

This is one of the funnest play structures the area has to offer. My kids love the shipwreck/treehouse theme. It has a good rubber floor (not bark, which I hate). Unfortunately, like most DFW parks, there is very limited shade. Some areas of the structure have very small shade tents over them but it's not a lot. The (reservable) picnic tables have shade, but none of the stone seating benches that circle the park do. WHY NO SHADE????? Also, I wish there was traditional bench seating (with backs) for us moms who like to sit and read while the kids play. Bathrooms are clean and right next to the park.

This park is very fun for kids of all ages. There are many different play structures from play houses, boat, zip line, water well, swings, slides, you name it! There's a parking lot and restroom. There is also a water park.

Fun for all ages. Close to Horseshoe Trail.

Cool looking park. Walked past it while walking along Dove Road. If you have kids, this would be a great place to bring them. Seems like plenty to do. If you are arriving as a couple, and one of you wants a place to run, you are very close to the Horseshoe Trail at Lake Grapevine (http://www.yelp.com/biz/horseshoe-trail-at-lake-grapevine-grapevine). Horseshoe is also a good place for pushing a stroller or riding a bike. I see there are some trail pictures posted here. Bottom line: Looks very fun!

The photos makes the park seem more vibrant than it is in person. It's a good park, but nothing too great.

Andy Brown is a beautiful space, from the pond to the open fields, the sidewalk/bike path, multiple large pavilions, and fun playground. There are large, mature trees surrounding the park. We parked in the wrong lot and had to walk alongside the gym in order to get to the playground and I couldn't believe how beautiful the pathways were with all the trees and the small creek running alongside. Not what I expected from a city park! The playground itself ("Kid Country") is almost fully enclosed and is a sprawling assortment of things to climb up, swing on, and slide down. There is a play area in the toddler section with storefronts to spark pretend play. The ground is bark. There are large trees in the center of the play area that provide shade and make the play structure look more natural than your typical playground. Almost like a tree house. There are benches scattered throughout the play area and a large covered pavilion with multiple picnic tables underneath. The city of Coppell provides free WiFi there and there were multiple moms with laptops out, working, while their kids played. The only big negative is the distance from the playground to the bathroom. I understand that they probably built the bathrooms more toward the center of the park, but the wise choice would have been to also put an additional small restroom right next to the playground. It's too far of a walk for me to feel comfortable sending my younger kids over there alone and it's kind of a bummer to have to wrangle together the entire group every time one kid has to pee. Otherwise, a fabulous park. LOVE IT. Hats off to you, Coppell!

One of the best baseball fields to play at in my opinion out of several other locations we've been to. Covered bleacher seating for guests and room for your own chairs if you choose to sit closer to the baseline areas on each side (home and visitor). Clean bathrooms and just overall, the park areas are well kept. Amazing playground for kids/players to hang out. Fields are labeled to find easier. Amazing concession with fresh grilled food you can order (burgers, sausage on a stick, etc). We also had the opportunity to visit and play at the Softball Complex fields. Very nice fields and a batting cage area before the main entrance (on the small parking lot side). At these fields the sun comes in way more even with some of the covered bleacher seating (Bring your portable fans, stadium chairs for convenience, small cooler, etc.). Not as much room for your own chairs at these fields like the other baseball fields. Some of our team parents sat behind the last row of bleachers, near the trash cans so it was kinda tight. Plus when people walk back and forth it can get more crowded. There are also small areas with turf next to the bleachers that is good for bringing blankets to sit/lay (good area for smaller kids, teens and even adults if you like the picnic style type of seating/vibe.

In any case, there were probably about 15 dinosaurs in total. Visitors follow a path at their own pace to view each dinosaur. Touching them is prohibited, but you can get pretty much as close as you want to observe and photograph. There is also a small dig area and a staff member walking around with a baby dino the kids can pet. Our first loop through prehistoric park took about 15 minutes. We splashed and swam a bit in the lake and then returned for another quick loop through the dinosaur trail before heading home. Overall, it's a pleasant activity and definitely a kid-pleaser. My children ages 1-9 all enjoyed it. The problem is the cost. $29 is just WAYYYY too high for what this is. Part of me thinks the city of Grapevine should just continue to charge the regular entrance fee into Meadowmere Park and use the dinosaur exhibit as a way to increase traffic into the park during the off-season. We for sure will not be returning to the park until the exhibit is over and the entrance fee returns to a more reasonable rate. If your kid loves dinosaurs and you've never been here, by all means, go, but I'd probably chalk this up to a once in a lifetime activity.
