Upon arriving, the restaurant made a good first impression. The atmosphere was what you would expect from a typical Indian restaurant, with traditional décor and a welcoming ambiance. We were seated promptly, which was appreciated, especially since we were dining with our 7-year-old son. Near the entrance, there is a large bar stocked with a wide variety of liquors, and an HD television playing Indian music videos, which added to the overall dining experience. Unfortunately, our experience with the service was somewhat disappointing. Our server came across as uninterested and lacked the friendliness and attentiveness that can make a dining experience more enjoyable. While the service wasn't necessarily bad, it didn't feel particularly welcoming. We decided to overlook that and focus on the food, hoping that would make up for it. Since our son loves butter chicken and it's typically our go-to dish whenever we visit an Indian restaurant, we ordered a butter chicken for him. For ourselves, we ordered the Punjab Samosa, Lamb Biryani, Tandoori Chicken, and two orders of Garlic Naan. Everything arrived in a reasonable amount of time. One thing worth noting for families with young children is the spice level. We were asked to select a spice level on a scale of 1 to 5. Because our son is sensitive to spicy foods, we asked if a spice level of 0 was available. We were told that the mildest option was level 1, so that's what we selected. My wife and I found the spice level perfectly manageable and enjoyable, but it was still too spicy for our son. Parents dining with younger children may want to keep this in mind when ordering. Overall, while the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the food was decent, the combination of the underwhelming service and the inability to accommodate a truly mild spice level for children left us somewhat disappointed. Based on our experience, we will likely explore other options the next time we're craving Indian food, particularly restaurants that offer more flexibility for families with young kids.

The masala chai was solid and not too sweet, to note they had sweeteners on the side for those who have a sweet tooth, the lemonade on the other hand, was way too sweet for my taste, so I stuck to the masala chai. The chicken tikka kebab came out piping hot and smelled great, however upon trying the dish the seasoning was a bit underwhelming, the roti and cheese naan were perfectly cooked, not to crispy and not to doughy, the lamb saag was rich and creamy, well seasoned, and the lamb fell apart in the mouth, the vindaloo had barely any spicy heat, which I had asked for them to make it as spicy as possible, it just didn't have that good kick, there was very little chicken, and even less potatoes, at first I wasn't sure if they had added the potatoes. Overall most of the food was mediocre and lacked spice and heat, the service was sub par(except for the chef; he was a pleasant and friendly fellow), and to note while there, it was extremely hot and I was dripping sweat from the moment I walked in, I'm not sure if the AC broke, but it was cooler outside, and the temperature outside at the time was 81f, the thermalizers for the buffet didn't help as it was likely contributing to humidity in the air. I'd personally say stick to the menu and pass on the buffet and make sure you don't have anything time sensitive to worry about.
