I love a donut that I can bite into that melts in my melt and feeds my sugar cravings. You will find an array of inexspensive donuts/kolaches/ and homemade breakfast sandwiches/crossiants. Heck, I might even treat you to a donut if I see you here. Cheers

Well, today, I came in the morning to work from here & to give it a try and wow! The place was non-stop busy from 8-1 pm with a line to the door throughout the morning. The breakfast croissants were delicious and unlike anything you have likely tasted before. The pastries were simply phenomenal! Presentation & taste. Service was outstanding. The ladies came around often and the food & drinks came out pretty fast. The space is a bit small for how crowded it gets and it's a bit too loud to work from here if you have to take calls. The outdoor seating spaces are nice, especially on a pretty day, but the tables get filled pretty quickly. Overall, I highly recommend it

Today I went in and got the sea salt coffee, figured I'll give their drinks a try and plus they were having a deal. Bad decision. It was probably the blandest coffee I've had to date. I'm not even a huge coffee drinker so I'm not someone that's picky and particular with how their coffee is done. So for someone that doesn't care too much about coffee, dang it was a letdown. It had no salty flavor despite the name. Katy Asian Town is always busy, and it gets even more hectic on the weekends. There was a bunch of staff in the back and restocking all the breads around the store but only one person ringing up at the register. And I'm going to assume that one person was calling for technical support or something because he was on the phone while pressing buttons on the tablet. Or he could he be taking a phone order, who knows. The point is the other workers should have seen that he isn't ringing up anyone and the line is continously growing longer and longer. Management needs to work on having an adequate amount of staff or have rules implemented to help fill in other positions when needed.

They just do their job, until someone reports it which almost never happens. I'm guessing the safe pastries are the wrapped/sealed ones. They do have one in Paris of all places, but instead of flies, they have wasps flying around on the pastries. How funny, I rather have bees and wasps.

I must state that the closer you get to closing time, noon, the fewer options you will have. They have some of the better apple fritters that I have tasted in Houston, but unfortunately, many people seemingly know about this place because options are limited close to closing time. There are not many signature items for this place, but they do have a lot of low priced breakfast options outside of donuts. The sausage and chorizo breakfast burrito is quite yummy. There are various breakfast sandwiches on a variety of breads, and of course kolaches. Because I was so undecided about the type of donuts I wanted, the worker even gave me an extra one so I can taste another flavor from them. This was after patiently waiting for me to decide on what I wanted, after their closing time of noon! Since my family sent me their in the first place, I already know that I will have to be their often to pick up various goods. Give the small guy a chance, and taste what they have to offer.
