Decided to give this place a try, had been wanting to since it opened. Easy parking and close to the entrance door so go ahead and throw on those cute heels! Clean and modern feel inside with plenty of seating whether you cozy up in a booth, hang at the bar or enjoy their all around big screen lined walls via one of their high top tables. Review update: Fellow foodies! I recently visited this place with my husband and while we had a great experience the first time, the second and third visits left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, the service was subpar and the manager threw napkins at us and other customers. He must think it's super neat. The red-haired server/bartender overcharged us twice, which was a bummer! The food was okay, but nothing to write about. I think the place would benefit from having a Taco Tuesdays promotion to draw more customers in. The speakeasy is apparently only open on specific days, which was a bit inconvenient. All in all, it's a shame that the quality of the place has gone downhill since my first visit. I won't be returning anytime soon. The atmosphere doesn't have an upscale feel to it either even after all the updates they made on this place. read more

Every town needs a Slam Drunk. Before the transformation to the Parlor Bar, Slam Dunk was a dark dive bar with nothing fancy, but live music from time to time. The conversion to Parlor Bar is extreme, but the crowd is about the same- just friendly and casual folks having a good time after a long day at work. The food, at least what we had was very good, bordering on excellent. I had a great beef dip and my wife had an even better nacho plate. The drinks were also good. My old fashioned was perfectly mixed. I also ordered a Negroni to see if they knew what they were doing and it was also perfect. I give it three stars because they seem to have cut the place in half. It looks like they use the second half of the place to rent out for private events. Maybe they open it up when it gets super busy, but we were there on a Friday night. Anyways, as a result we were sitting near the pool tables when we arrived (no one was playing yet) but I knew it would be an issue once people started playing. At the time, the only other places to sit was at the bar or the three large booths, all filled. Just as I thought, once people started playing we were dodging pool cues. Everyone was friendly, but it was annoying. I'd definitely go back to watch a game with a group of friends, but date night probably needs to be somewhere else. Glad we went though. read more

We came for game 6 of the Laker/Grizzle series and had a great time. The ambiance was lite, festive, and jumping off! I had a Moscow Mike with Tito's and my wife had a Michelada. Both drinks were delicious and well crafted. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and my wife had the wings. Both entries were delicious and full of flavor, not your typical bar food. The spot had lots of TVs and a huge monitor on one of the walls, great place to watch games. We'll definitely be back and come with friends. read more

3/13/23 We came in around 4-5pm. There was only one server at the bar her name is Lindsey. She didn't even introduced herself, we had to ask her what's her name. She seems busy with just running the bar by herself. Food and drinks are good, service is decent. We end up moving to the pool area, it was a good night. Until I had a notification from my bank that I got charged with huge amount of tip, asking if I purposely tipped this amount. Which I did not. I put in for 20% tipped but end up getting charged more. I added screenshot regarding this issue. Bill was $42.78 and tip was $28.67 that was overcharged.. which is more than 20% I called the restaurant and Justin picked up the phone, I gave them my information and stated that I will get a call back from the general manager. Which I never received. BEWARE WITH THE SERVER AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU CLICK SUBMIT WHEN YOU TIP AND ASK FOR THE RECEIPT. OR PAY CASH INSTEAD It looks like the server will take advantage of drunk customers. Left 2 stars for good food and drinks. I wasn't going to leave this review and trying to get a call back from the manager but it looks like they don't care. read more

Don't be fooled the service is amazing and the beer is cold with a great on tap selection. But let's talk about the food!!! The food is terrific, homemade sauces, fresh squeezed juices for drinks and a vast-fun-menu. We tried the giant pretzel, the chicka-rones (like small crunchy chicharones but chicken!) and the brisket nachos. Been by this establishment twice now. The first time around was a couple of Saturday's ago and it was beyond packed! Great service for such a crazy busy night. One of the bartenders was under the weather but he was still slaying and tending to everyone in a timely manner. Shout out to him for being a trooper. The drinks are very fairly priced, and definitely pack a punch. Revisited again this past Saturday and it was far less busy. They also had the back room opened up where a cover band performed. The place was way more open, pool tables were open for usage as well. To my surprise and delight, the cover band rocked & performed many classic songs. They deserved every tip & some! As for the service, our server Karla was incredible! She was quick, efficient, friendly, and super hospitable. I'd 10/10 recommend this place for drinks, food, and some live entertainment or pool.
