They're located off the Katy Freeway near IKEA, on the south side between Wirt and Antoine. The office shares a parking lot with Memorial Tacos, a dry cleaner, and some boutique shops. The parking lot is spacious, so parking is never an issue. Inside, everything is spotless and modern. The front desk staff are always kind, competent, and welcoming. Their hygienists are amazing -- especially Shauna, who is both personable and incredibly skilled. And both Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen are outstanding. They're highly competent, never push unnecessary services, and take the time to explain everything clearly. I've been coming here for years, and they've redone a few old fillings from decades ago with excellent results. I always leave feeling confident in their work -- and with a nice little goody bag! The advice they've given me over the years has actually worked, and my dental health is better because of it. I sincerely hope Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen keep practicing for a long time, because I'll be coming here for life -- and so will my kids when they're grown.

I paid over $50,000 for full mouth veneer treatment with this office. Within about three years, one…read morerestoration failed and required emergency care. I no longer live in Texas, so I saw another provider locally. That provider was recommended by this office and uses the same lab. During that visit, I was shown a clear image of an unsealed margin on the tooth adjacent to the failed restoration. This area is now causing significant sensitivity and requires treatment. Despite this, I was told by Dr. Young that addressing it would be a personal choice and not necessary. I was also told that issues like this could be related to whether I was keeping up with cleanings. I have consistently attended my dental cleanings before and after the restoration. I have been trying to get help since April 11, when the crown failed. I was finally told on 4/30 that a night guard would be remade and sent. I provided my address and never received a response or update. My records state that a night guard was delivered to me after treatment completion. I never received a night guard. What I was given were retainers, which I believed were night guards all along. I raised concerns shortly after placement in 2023, including asymmetry and bite issues, and provided photos at the time. I relied on the guidance that things were addressed. I am now dealing with a failed restoration, another tooth requiring treatment, and no protective night guard despite documentation stating otherwise.

On top of that, they tried to pressure me into getting new X-rays even though my previous X-rays were taken less than six months ago. When I questioned the need for additional X-rays, they continued pushing for them and ultimately refused to perform my scheduled teeth cleaning because I declined. Another concern is the constant staff turnover. Over the years, I've had three different hygienists, which makes the office feel very inconsistent and unorganized. Overall, the experience felt more focused on upselling services than patient care. I'll definitely be finding a new dentist.

The hygienist did a great job! Mouth and tooth pain can be the worst kind of pain. I just had several cavities filled in one session and it was the best experience I've ever had. I always have a lot of jaw pain during dental procedures and Dr. McDonald was considerate and caring the entire time, which meant a lot. I also had some bonding done (which I am very pleased with) and plan on getting more cosmetic work here in the future. :)

I do NOT recommend Astra Orthodontist. Since the beginning I have had nothing but constant…read moreproblems. Originally this was Dr. Hoang Orthodontists and he was amazing. He was mine and my daughter's orthodontist whenever we had braces. As we came upon my daughter's last few months he retired and all his patient were taken over by Astra Orthodontist which was when I had gotten braces for my son. Since the beginning they were very unprofessional, rude and always tried to constantly trying to OVERCHARGE. First the payment was supposed to be taken out every 1st of the month but without my approval they switched it to the 20th of the every month. Second, not even two months into my son's brace they charged me twice that month. It took them forever to get back with me and refund that extra payment. Third, I had ask for another copy of my contract because I had misplaced mine and I knew the balance on my account was too high. When the receptionist asked Dr. Rahimi he told her no I couldn't get a copy. So whenever he came to the front office I directly asked him myself why can't I get a copy of my own contract. He didn't say anything and just printed out a part of the contract (not the whole thing) and I could tell things were altered on there. So I went home and finally found the original one I received when I first had gotten my son's brace and the total had been altered and also the month payment as well. They never give u monthly receipts unless you ask for them. I spoke with Dr. Rahimi directly and brought pics of all my receipts and original contract and he fixed the account. Fourth, they were being unprofessional by texting last minute at night and rescheduling my son's appointments this happened multiple times. Whenever I confronted them they stopped. Fifth, my last payment for my son's braces was in January 2026 and his braces were taken off February 11th. I was sure to get the receipt that the account was paid off and they would not be any monthly withdrawal from my account and I woke up yesterday morning to find my account overdrawn because they had taken out another payment. I have been calling/texting since yesterday (2/20) and no response at all. I've had to do a claim on my bank to get my money back. But they are the ones that have to stop the monthly payments if not I have to come out of pocket and pay an extra 30.00 for their mistake. This is very frustrating and unfair to me. I can only imagine how many accounts they do extra charges to for the people who aren't paying attention. I do NOT recommend as I said before it has been nothing but issues from the start.
