I gave birth at Parkview about a week ago. I had a long labor and every L&D shift that treated me during my stay was AMAZING, PATIENT, and KIND. Thank you to Erika, Ana, Queen, Carolyn, and Daisy for caring for me, my baby, and my support family. Thank you to the midwives Erika and Christina for assisting with my delivery. When I transitioned to the recovery portion, I was treated with the same treatment. Hailey, Fara, and Sarah were so attentive and held my hand throughout the entire process. I'm most a regular here in the ER.. The Older short doctor (I think she is a doctor) needs to help patients and spot harassing people. Every time in here I just see her walking (never doing anything). One time she kicked me out of my daughters room (only 1 adult with patient) and security and doctor told me "No, you can stay". Tonight 1/2/26 ER tec, EKG tec and doctor said I could stay with my son and after being there an hour with him she came by and kicked me out of room. Giving me some WTH sorry of having a little girl who needed her mom back here and I said "what does that have to do with me". then she asked my son his age and then got rude with me.. I got up and left but wth.. this places isn't busy and we aren't in the way or hurting anyone but for no reason at all (and awful excuse) she just decided to kicked me out... I see her do stuff like this to people every time I'm here.. How about help patients and stop harassing people who are here worried and trying to support our loved ones... when she walked up I knew it was coming.. Her alone would be the reason I stopped coming here, I'm tired of being harassed by her or watching her harasse people every time I'm here. Another note: My son sat there and watched this gentlemen constantly asking for help and a glass water (guess he had injury to jaw) and finally after the 4th person he asked helped him.. everyone said ok but never came back.. my son almost got up to get him help and someone finally came back.. if staff is going to ignore patient then maybe should allow 1 guest so they can look out for patient wellbeing. I've worked in hospitals and it makes me sad how some staff ignores patients, at least act like you care. I know how busy it is but that person needs you, maybe hire more CNA's to show the TLC. read more

I work for Hoag Irvine, Hospital, but living in Riverside, so I really didn't wanna make the trip to Irvine. I hesitantly went to Parkview Hospital instead-- especially when I haven't always heard the best things about the hospital, but to my surprise, they were amazing. I brought my husband in on 12/4/25 who had a knee injury. Registration was patient and tolerant with me, even though I wasn't fully paying attention to what she was asking-- she was great. Triage was also great: quick,kind and professional. Then we met to Demiko (did I spell that right?) He was a tall, bubbly, funny, black guy. A radiology tech who did my husband's x-ray. He had a great sense of humor, and even though he was clearly super busy it did not take away from his personality at all. He made the experience much better.. Overall, the nurses doctors and staff did an amazing job. Thank you for treating my husband and getting this out on a three hour mark! That's better than most hospitals! Truly impressed read more

I've been here twice (2019 for Labor and Delivery & 2026 ER) and both experiences were great. During my ER visit, I was seen quick despite of the amount of people there. In the waiting section once inside, they have reclining hospital chairs for comfort. During my Labor and Delivery time, I was seen and assisted real quick. I had an unexpected emergency surgery because my appendix was leaking, and I was in a lot of pain when I came in. I did have to wait a little, but from my perspective, everyone was doing their best to get me help as quickly as possible. I'm not someone who works in a hospital, so I don't know exactly how every part of the process works, but I could genuinely tell that the staff was trying to get me my pain medication as soon as they could, and I really appreciate that. Everyone I interacted with was so kind, attentive, and genuine--from the lady outside to the team who woke me up after the OR, to my recovery nurses. Every person I came across made me feel cared for. That meant so much to me during such a scary and painful experience. I honestly feel like this hospital is a little gem in our community that not enough people appreciate. The kindness here did not feel fake or forced. It truly felt like the staff worked well together and cared about each other, which made such a difference in the way I felt as a patient. I did notice one small moment of tension between staff toward the end of my stay,( morning shift was different) but nothing is perfect, and it was not alarming. Overall, the environment still felt warm, respectful, and genuine. My sister is about to graduate into nursing, and I even told her she should apply here because work environment matters so much for nurses and doctors. From what I saw, this seemed like the kind of place where people would be happy to work. I'm very thankful to Parkview Community staff. You all are amazing, and your kindness was not overlooked. Had my first ever Labor & Delivery visit as a new mommy to be. It was such a pleasant experience. I was so well cared for by the Midwife Brianna, Carolyn RN, & phlebotomist Claudia. They really al went above & beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. It was nice to be there for testing & see what my next visits will be like. We had a wonderful experience at Parkview Hospital while bringing our son in, and I can't say enough positive things about the care we received. Dr. Sawchuck was absolutely fantastic--knowledgeable, patient, and truly caring. The nurses, Xochi and Joanna, went above and beyond to make sure our son was comfortable, calm, and well cared for every step of the way. They were attentive, kind, and always took the time to explain what was happening, which meant so much to us as parents. Our CNA, Emalyn, was also amazing--gentle, compassionate, and incredibly attentive to our son's needs. The entire team worked seamlessly together and treated us with genuine kindness and respect. Been here a lot with my mom the last few months. The er is great but the hospital is horrible. They miss diagnosed my mom. She got worse going here. Unfortunately we had no say so because of her condition they had to take her to the closest hospital and this is it. Think when you move somewhere make sure the hospital is good that's by you. I can not begin to to thank the doctors and staff on all fields from this hospital who have been there for me. From 2014 to present date. Emergency staff always going out of their way to facilitate your waiting time and for a bed to be available to you. My mom was admitted to the hospital and Emalyn took care of my mom. She has such a good personality and was very helpful and friendly. She continued to check on mom and I to make sure we was comfortable. Also, Dr. Vincent Lee was my mom's doctor when she was here with covid. He has a good bedside manner. I have always been treated we ithe upmost kindness, respect, attentiveness, and care. Especially by the wonderful Dr. Moy at this hospital until now. Beware of the E.R.. Doctor and E.R. Nursing Director. The doctor was harsh speaking to me from the beginning of my exam. He spoke down to with accusations out right. I'm such a soft spoken, patient, and pleasant person even when suffering from the migraine I was being seen from. The Nursing director for some reason was also in the room and told me to my face he was suspicious of me of calling an Uber. The E.R. doctor was reluctantly going to prescribe me something simple and when I asked him to lower his tone because my voice was not raised and if he could show some beside manor he angrily told me he changed his mind and was not going to prescribe me anything at all. I left and vomited in a near by restroom from the added excitement and nausea from my migraine. I have never in my 50 years of life been treated this way, especially in five minute exam. Went to park view Hospital today worst experience and service ever! Staff lady in the front desk was rude. My son had a wheezing cough they took an x-ray and said it could be bronchitis but even knowing that they still had us waiting in the waiting room for 5 hours. Guest that walked in when I walked in and even after me were seen before us. I don't understand how they can think that adults are way more important than a child!!! I ended up leaving without them doing anything for my son. They tested my son for Covid and the flu when it was quite obvious that it was not that. Horrible hospital don't come here unless you want to die, my husband went in for severe gallbladder issues, and Dr Peter in the ED, sent him home with an infected gallbladder, we ended up going to RCH and they admitted him immediately the care quality was horrible, it's sad when they're own nurses are telling us not to go there and to go to another emergency room, if I could leave zero stars I most definitely would. read more

I'd like to say that 2nd floor nurses Thuy and Araceli are ones that made a lasting impression on helping with my grandma. Being a professional from beginning to end with a can do attitude goes a long way when you are sick. They were on top of everything always asking if we needed anything and taking time to do the best for my grandma. I was sent to Parkview from Extended Care to receive dialysis. Other then the several hour wait lying on a gurney in the ER, my time there was awesome. We got to this place at 6am. Wifey was admitted immediately, after an hour, bloodwork, after 2 hours, CT scan. Ervin was our nurse, and Gloriana was his helper. Ervin was very nice and respectful, Gloriana let me use her charger because I own a business and was on the phone non-stop while we were there. Had some downtime, so I went to the cafeteria, got a large coffee and some donuts. Cash only!! Well, I didn't have any cash. I never carry cash. The lady at the register paid for my coffee and donuts. $4.50. Thank you so much. Overall it was 5 star care. So why only 4 stars? We were there until 3pm. 9 hours for them to tell wifey, she was healthy, and all she had was Uvulitis. Gave her some medicine and sent us on our way. I forget the Doctors name, but he was really nice as well. HUGE UPGRADE, from the last time we were there...Definitely recommend. read more

Moved to Riverside last year. I have not heard good things about the hospitals in Riverside County. Recently, my son fell and unfortunately needed stitches. Parkview was only 15 minutes from my home so I immediately drove to their emergency room. I was on edge and expecting a very long wait time. The front desk was very quick at getting all of my information and I don't even think I waited five minutes to have my son taken back. I was immediately greeted by Monica the P.A. and she took swift action to get a team together to stitch up my son. As he is just a toddler we did have two burrito wrap him and hold him still to treat the laceration on his forehead. Monica insured to get a strong RN student Carlos, and he was consoling my son and talking to him. Aia was on the Care team as well and was very kind with me and my son. Monica took the time to explain the aftercare and even gave me some words of encouragement. I was absolutely amazed by the entire Care team and was out the door in less than an hour. I truly appreciate the loving care. They gave my son and me. I returned back today to have his stitches checked, and once again I was met by very kind nurses and front desk personnel. read more

Honestly worst hospital no communication at all bunch of staff of nothing takes 4 hours to be seen or to hear back from. Especially if it's for kids no proper medical care. This emergency room hasn't change anything from doctors, PA's and nurses. They're aren't here to save life's anymore nor help but a damn paycheck. My son has high fever they weren't able to help with proper care. I went to ask for Tylenol at least it took 2 hours even for that my God this place is horrible God forbid if my son has a stroke they'll leave him to be dead. No one ever knows what's the next steps nor how long the doctor is going to check upon on us. They also have the nerve to put zero tolerance policy. Patients have been waiting for more than 2 hours sitting within 6 + hours of waiting with NO COMMUNICATION. Obviously will be pissed tf off will speak up tell them what they're needing proper help/care. read more

I would not recommend going to the ER at this hospital. The care quality is very low. Going to this place feels like you are going there to die because the doctors do not care there and the front receptionist are just as rude as other providers in this location. Save yourself a trip and go to a different emergency room. Check myself out of this one to go to another emergency room due to the terrible quality and it felt like the doctors had no idea what they were doing. All they did was prescribe me narcotics instead of actually taking the time to see what was wrong with me they did not even order blood test. All they did was prescribe narcotics. read more
