I would also like to recognize Dr. Gupta, who is always amazing, caring, and knowledgeable. NO) anyway, I have not needed to see a doctor in many years. I have only gone for a physical and everything is fine. One month and a lump appears! OK, I walk in on a Thursday after noon sometime and supposedly all of the doctors are "Out of the office" OK, but I can return the next day and I do. Quick to see a doctor and my share of cost is awesome! I get a perception of antibiotic and lumps goes down. I cancel other tests and everything seems fine. January hits and my new work insurance starts- NOT ONE DOCTOR can see me anywhere on the day I walk in. Lump returned. I was beside myself that this place doesn't have a contract with Aetna. I made an appointment somewhere else but things are dragging out and I can't help but wonder why I waste my money on insurance which at this moment seems like a waste. I got treated faster and cheaper showing how little I make here! If you know someone that thinks they cannot afford to see a doctor, I highly recommend bringing them here with their last two paycheck stubs. I guess I was lucky to not have a long wait here, but still being seen on the day you walk in- that doesn't happen in Riverside anymore. I mean... how is that even possible? All of our utilities, our rent, and our bills are all overdue, all because he failed to fill out a small little section of a very simple form. Thankfully, my mother no longer needs the surgery she was scheduled to have with this doctor. While the doctors are excellent, you cannot get in to see them because you have to go through their call center that puts you on hold and then reroutes you to another department and puts you on hold only to be told you can't get an appointment for three months with your primary. You can no longer book through your primary and if you need a specialist uou have to go through your primary even if you have a PPO, which means you could literally be waiting for care for months. I know people who have said that their parents passed away because they couldn't get care in time. This place is a shitshow. I hope they get hit with multiple lawsuits. I feel sorry for the doctors that are there. I also heard they're no longer accepting Medicare patients.

I'm given my prescription in a white paper bag as usual and head home. Upon arriving at home I see my medication is taped up in an additional white paper bag inside of the packaging. I've never received it this way before in the 8 years I've been taking it.. and you know why ? BECAUSE HE HANDED ME A DIFFERENT BIRTH CONTROL! I understand that maybe this is what my insurance is now covering, whatever. They are similar but this brand has a higher anxiety side effect (I have an anxiety condition!) higher rates or headaches and migraines which I already struggle with wearing contacts and long hours on screens for work, it also has a higher risk of weight gain. I feel like he tried to sneak it past me, didn't want to hear me potentially upset about the change and decided just to tape the sh*t up for me to notice later on. I checked in at the front, she directed me to a ticket machine. I grabbed a ticket and waited to be called. Once they called me up, I went to the reception to check in and pay my copay. They directed me down the hall for my ultrasound. The appointment went well. I liked the doctor. Quality care. I was in and out pretty quick. All in all, a good experience!

We were mentally and physically drained. The next day we were transfered to the main hospital. Wow. 180 degree turn from the ER environment. The main hospital staff were AMAZING. I've heard so many horror stories about county hospital. On the contrary the staff were very caring and thoughtful. My mom had an ileostomy ( part of her small intestine routed through her stomach into a " poop bag"). From the surgeon to the cleaning staff, they were fabulous. I would recommend this hospital 100%. This is why I was adamant about writing this note for whomever has heard other info. I don't question other people's experiences but I'm very grateful for the time we spent there and it was an amazing experience.
