This is the best dental office! All staff members are absolutely wonderful. Everyone is knowledgeable, patient, and cares about doing their best for the patients. My family has been going to the office for over a year. We all get our six month cleanings and two members of our family are receiving orthodontic care through them. I didn't know the Parkside Dental was a family owned business. My husband and I are all about supporting small businesses. ALSO, Dr. Xu-Larsen was amazing. Very thorough, she took her time to explain everything in detail. My hygienist - Tammy was great too. They take their time to make sure you are left clean and healthy. So far my experience over 7 years with Parkside Dental has been great. Had a couple of fillings, ceramic caps and one root canal. And of course the periodic checkups. I really appreciated Dr Jean taking the time to see me right away and explaining everything and then offering a reasonable treatment plan. Horrible !!! FRAUDULENT BILLING PRACTICES!!!! Had work done because they were contracted with my insurance. I paid my part up front receiving receipt showing I paid in full!! They then bill under different provider ID that is not contracted. I called was told they will get it straight and I did not have an open balance. A YEAR later they call saying I have a balance, went through it all again even showing emails where it states I have no open balance. AGAIN was told their mistake I was right I have no balance. Six months later here we go again!!! NOT WORTH the HASSLE!!! Not to mention the dentist uses assistants from temp agency that don't know where tools are and seem lost. Don't put yourself through the aggravation of using this dentist group!!! read more

I was visting family in Dallas for Easter weekend and my daughter chipped her tooth! And being it was Saturday, most offices were closed. We were so lucky to have found Dr.Larsen's office and she was able to fit us in on such short notice. The dental office is new and had a very welcoming atmosphere. We were quickly greeted by Alicia, the receptionist who made us comfortable while we waited for Dr.Larsen. During our meeting, I was very impressed at how professional and gentle Dr.Larsen was with my daughter and she even explained to her what was about to happen so she wouldn't be nervous. I have never met a doctor who provided such comfort and attention to their paitent, I really felt she treated us like family. Dr.Larsen really saved our weekend and I can't thank her enough. I needed a new dentist. I found this place run by a husband and wife team. They are awesome! The office team is outstanding. They will explain all the Billings and give you payment options so you understand. The technicians are all great that I have worked with. They explain each procedure they are doing. They are also very gentle. The dentists are both very good. Jean explains everything, I think that is a sign of someone who enjoys their job. The rooms have a tv so you can watch your shows while in the chair. I love how the office staff seems to get along amongst themselves. As a family, we love Parkside Dental! This husband and wife team makes the experience special with state of the art equipment and little touches of comfort. They have TV's to watch while you get worked on, a cute little kids station where they can play games, coffee/beverage station and the space is beautifully decorated! Best dental office I have been to. Dr. Larsen is amazing. She is very gentle and kind and patient with my 4 year old. My daughter even let her do work on her and she has always been terrified of doctors before. My daughter got to watch Netflix during the procedure and didnt even notice the shot. I went over to Parkside Dental to get a second opinion for some dental work that I was told I needed by my current dentist, that every time I would go over had new work that felt excessive. I met with Dr. Jason Larson and felt comfortable from the start. He was very through and after doing an exam and XRays, he said he felt there was no work necessary and that the area my "FORMER" dentist had identified was something we would look at and monitor in future visits. This is the best dental clinic ever! I went to many clinic but this is best place among all. My whole family goes here now. We got the best service here. Both Doctors are excellent & explain thing so well. X-ray machine is super sophisticated which scans in a second. Staffs are wonderful! Mariam is very efficient. They treated my kid so nicely. People will get real comfort here. Recently I had deep cleaning; I am amazed by the care from Hygienist Vincent who cleaned so delicately with no pain at all, I am so impressed with their care. I had deep cleaning at other place at Plano but that was very painful & service was poor. Parkside dental changes reasonably too. They offer insurance plan from other party which is convenient. These are NOT pediatric dentists! The front desk staff was extremely nice as were the hygienist but the actual dentists do not know how to talk with children. I have a 2 year old that saw the male dentist and after hearing from the hygienist that we just want to make her first visit a good experience, he made me hold her down to which of course she was screaming. My 7 year old saw the female dentist and she did nothing but criticize what she is doing wrong. Neither dentist had one positive thing to say to either of my children or me. My children are definitely not perfect and don't brush and floss 2 times a day, but they don't drink sodas or juices. As a teacher of elementary age students, children will be more willing to do what you want and need from them by first telling them what they are doing correct. I'm pretty sure both of these dentists would be extremely upset and angry if they walked into a parent/teacher conference for the first time and only heard what their child has done wrong and what they can't do. read more

I came to them with a wisdom tooth that needed to be pulled and they were concerned about my comfort and very patient when I had my son with me. They also called and made sure I was okay after my visit. I also love how they have 2 tvs in the room! They have one in front and one right above you while you are laying back!! I suffered an abscess tooth over a HOLIDAY weekend. Went to Website for Parkside and requested an appointment. Dr. (Mrs) Larson called me on a Saturday (again HOLIDAY weekend -I was impressed!!) and set me up for appt first thing on Tuesday. The website is perfect -organized, works, and evidently- someone actually monitors it in a timely manner (not always the case as I have discovered with other providers)! I arrived, they had my info. and they were ready for me. Kelly the assistant was sweet (she's new and I sense still learning, but she has a calming compassionate demeanor- she will be a nice addition to this practice) Dr. (Mr) Larson has a soft and calm manner. We had to do a tooth extraction that was frightening- but he was reassuring, and again such a soft pleasing manner (he has this sweet giggle when he trying to tell you bad news). I had no insurance but decided to purchase the Dental savers plan- I will be back. Front office woman was also polite and welcoming. Office is beautiful and modern- pretty blue walls (very soothing) - Can't say enough good things!! read more
