My experience with Smiles at Murphy was disappointing. The staff is very inefficient, rude and inexperienced. First, after a visit with one of their dental assistants, I was given instructions from her that were totally opposite from what was emailed to me as as follow-up instructions. Second, when I complained that the work she did wasn't satisfactory, meaning I still felt things in my mouth that were not right, she totally ignored my pleas to fix these and continued completing the work and wanted me out. I had to insist on having someone else called to fix the issue. Last, when I called to ask questions about a procedure I was in the middle of having them do, the person on the phone was extremely rude, she seemed offended that I was asking questions and sharing my expectations. They haven't been addressed until now and I am waiting on a call back. Honestly, dentist is okay but her staff needs to shape up and learn how to treat customers properly. read more

They are very friendly but I do not recommend using them for bridges. Very expensive and they did a terrible job. For cleanings they are good. For check up they are good. read more

I have been visiting the office for just over a year. This is a great office, staff and doctor Included. It feels less clinical than other dental offices I have visited. (Which helps calm the nerves a little.) The waiting room has more of a home feel and it isn't overflowing with brochures on services (you probably don't need.) The cleanings are seriously thorough. Dr Jain is great! Very approachable and knowledgeable. She comes across as very sincere. I have just visited for cleanings (thankfully) but they have always been running on schedule. Dr. Jain and her staff are wonderful! They are all friendly, professional, and they make you feel welcomed. They are very good at seeing you at your appointment time. During my appointment, they did a great job explaining what they are doing and showing me xrays/pictures of my teeth on the tv screen. They made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. They didn't rush through my appointment, they addressed any questions and concerns I had, and gave me great recommendations and advice regarding caring for my teeth. My whole family goes here, and they love it. Their office is very clean and cozy. They have a tv, Keurig and bottled water/juices in the waiting area. They are green here as everything is paperless. If they have your email and/or cell phone on file, you'll get emails reminders and a text message reminding you of your appointment. Dr Jain and her staff are very knowledgeable and courteous. My whole family has been her patients for the last 8 years! She helped my daughter with her mal aligned teeth. She has perfect teeth now. They have moved to the new location for more than a year and it is very neat and spacious. The wait time is usually not that long. I have had a filling done which helped me a lot as i was having a lot of trouble bc of it. I would recommend her to be your local dental service center. read more

Got a couple fillings done here but a month after they were flossing during an appointment and the filling literally fell out. The dentist was gone for the day so a hygienist did the repair filling. Yikes. All my fillings here had to be redone by other dentists as they were so bad. There is no attention to detail here. Please save your money and your time and don't go here. read more

If there was a negative star I would choose it. This dentist was rude to another patient, myself and her staff. She also was extremely rough, leaving the corners of my mouth sore and one side even bled. I would not recommend this practice to anyone! read more

I have been going here for over a year and used to have insurance. Since I don't have dental insurance now, I have to pay outright for the services. At first I was charged $55 for cleaning/check up, so when I was going back I didn't worry too much. I thought it may have gone up, but no more than $15. I was charged $89!!!! This is the highest priced around town!!!!! I was in total shock!!! And they didn't even try to split the difference with me or anything! If I had known they were that expensive, I wouldn't have even gone there this past time! I won't be going back EVER! When you can't bend a little due to someone else's error, that's not good business!!!! They are the HIGHEST priced in the area!!!! read more

Dr. Jain is the best dentist I have been to (and I have been to a lot of them). All of the staff is very knowledgeable, friendly yet professional. They stay on the top of appointments times, reminders, insurance issues and everything else. They WILL CALL YOU BACK when they say they will call you back. They check on their patients after dental procedures to make sure patient is doing well. I visited smiles at Murphy last year in November. Dr told me i needed deep cleaning and they gave me bill of their services, totally $460 including my out of pocket expenses. Few weeks later when i received insurance notice, they charged insurance $700 bucks, $240 more than what they told me. When i called to ask, receptionist was surprised seeing my bill as well. She promised they will get back to me, its more than 10 days and not heard anything yet. Also, one of my friends kept going for cleaning every three months, his insurance covers only two cleaning per year but i am sure Dr at smiles at murphy using some different treatment code to get money out of insurance. I told my friend to get the bills from doctor after every visit. This is not the first time i am seeing this trend, this is across the nation and being practiced by multiple doctors. BE AWARE and keep an eye on your bills and insurance charges. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! Horrific experience Dr. Anshu Jain! Save a tooth and dont go here. Her assistants were very nice and the secretary is very sweet, but Dr. Anshu Jain brought another doctor in who wasnt part of her staff to do my root canal. It took THOUSANDS of dollars reexamine my tooth and have root canal evaluated by another dentist. The tooth had to be extracted. Once removed, the result was: it was a bad root canal. I have no tooth now, and have permanent bite problems which will cost me an implant. read more

First off, excellent hygienist and cleaning. Dentist office not so much. I was told I had badly cracked tooth and needed a crown. I followed Dr. Jain's advice and had the procedure done. After the temporary was put on, I was told, instead of the usual 2 weeks for the permanent, I would have to wait 5 weeks while Dr. Jain was out of the country. If they had told me before, I would have rescheduled. When it finally came time to put the permanent on, it was NOT done by Dr. Jain, who I had to wait for, but somebody who normally worked in the Orthodontist area. It was miserable. No topical anesthetic and ice cold air, water and cement on exposed nerve. It hurt for hours afterward. If I wanted to be used as a training aid, I would go to the Dentist college. Then to add insult to injury, insurance company said it was not a necessary procedure and would not pay. Called the dentist office repeatedly and left messages with no response and no call back. After a long time, I received a letter from Judy saying I was responsible for entire bill and that I "regretfully did not have a clear understanding of how insurance works". I am over 50 and have had 5 other crowns done at other dentists for the same cracked teeth issue (old fillings) with zero issues with insurance. Now I wonder, if the dentist was not able to convince the insurance company it was necessary, was it? read more

I give it a 0. This place sucks. I and my family were a long time Patients. I have scheduled an appointments two times and they turned down the Appointments. The Front office staff is very rude. I called the front office staff to schedule an appointment, she said that she will check with the Doc and call me back to confirm the appointment, but nobody called me. I waited for so long and again called the Doc office to schedule an appointment. When I went there for the appointment, I was late by 10 min. I made it very clear that I am driving all the way from downtown (wherever I am working) to see the doc in the lunch hour, the rude front office staff said that, doctor went out to run some Errands, she also added saying that if I want I can come back after an hour. So frustrating. No phone calls were made to check that I will be there or not. Is this the way to treat the long time patient? Very rude Doc and front office staff. I would never go back here.
