To sum up my experience, I would say: Good food, terrible service. This place is super hip. The atmosphere - everything from the walls to the lights to the furniture - exude coolness. The menu appears to feature healthy ingredients with a slight Asian flavor (soy sauce in salad?!). The food was good! One annoying thing is that different things stop being served at different times of the day. We were there around dinner time, so most things were not being served anymore. The other annoying thing is that everyone working there appeared to not feel like working. Or if they did feel like working, they felt like helping customers who weren't us. A group of six of us managed to get a table for a late Friday breakfast. Very cool decor with a hipster twist. I ordered the French omelette with extra chorizo - great balance of toppings and wasn't too heavy. Also ordered the Vietnamese coffee which was sweet and tasty. Industrial style interior, cool and modern restaurant with nice music, good drinks (I had a grapefruit drink), and delicious pizzas. They have a full menu, exterior seating, friendly staff, cool customers. Great for people watch as well. Highly recommended. read more

I cannot believe that! Overpriced food, average service and a really poor selection of wines (of course overpriced as well). We tried a bit of everything. The roasted chicken, which you can get for the 1/3 of the price in any doner place around Kreuzberg, was semi-raw without any taste. The lamb ribs were served with a dressing that a first-year college student would serve as "gourmet" to impress the rest of the class at the kick-start dinner of the year and the ceviche, was probably the worst i've tried in years. (Rather too bad to comment on) The wine that was proposed by the -in other respects- polite waiter was just a cheap mix of 3 different types of wine (?) coming straight from the späti wine cellar next door. I wouldn't like to further comment on any of the side dishes. Enough said. It wouldn't even cross my mind to feed what was on the table to the dogs (oh my... I just did it!) I liked the interior design though. Good job guys. Maybe think of changing the type of your business from an expensive bad restaurant to a good, cheap wine bar that hosts occasional art exhibitions. It would make more sense. Unless you hire someone who knows how to cook the basics, starting with boiled eggs for instance... Cheers p.s I really liked those 6 euro chips with mayo. A cafe attached to the huge Modulor creative-materials store at Moritzplatz in Kreuzberg. It is very hipster-esque in its design. Dark wooden tables with industrial lighting, but nonetheless warm and comfortable. The coffees are mediocre, but reasonably priced: 2.60 for a cappuccino or 1.80 for an espresso. They have 9 or so different variants of tea for 2.80 per cup, which is also reasonable given the location and quality. There are juices that sell for 3.50 for a small and 4.50 for a large. There are breakfast and lunch menus. I would recommend one of the omelettes, which cost about €5. Lunch is served starting at 12:00. There is also a good selection of beer and wine. There are three different beers on draft, as well as an assortment of bottles. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the service is pretty quick except if it's totally packed. A nice please-everyone cafe in a convenient location. Worth stopping in after a visit to the attached store. read more

Pretty good lunch food, the only one in the area around Moritzplatz. Unfortunately, the service is abismal and rude.

For a city so renowned for its nightlife, Berlin is surprisingly lacking in restaurants with a real supper-club vibe; even in Kreuzberg, dining and partying tend to occupy radically separate spheres. Parker Bowles, handily tacked onto the Prince Charles club next door, seems to be working hard to fill that void, and for that it has a lot of potential. Atmosphere feels very Fashion Week, with lots of slick dark surfaces and well-dressed young pretty people. The dining area is more see-and-be-seen than relax-and-get comfortable, but the chilled-out techno soundtrack and friendly servers bring it down to earth a bit. A big splashy bar takes up most of the ground floor, while the centerpiece of the dark mezzanine dining area is indisputably the glowing portal into the kitchen, where beautifully plated dishes constantly appear to steal attention away from your dining companions. In fact, the presentation of the food is the real highlight of Parker Bowles; everything that comes out of that kitchen is creatively and impeccably arranged, almost daring the clientele to Instagram it on the spot. Unfortunately, the boldness of the menu and the aesthetic beauty of the food is not matched by the flavor; everything we tasted was surprisingly bland. A unique-sounding starter with puffed rice, roasted carrots, and goat-cheese cream actually came off more like breakfast cereal in milk, while the signature meat dishes suffered from a lifeless array of sides. Even the complimentary amuse-bouche, a glass of cold flavorless lentils, left our bouches unamused. There's obviously some talent in the kitchen, but they seem to be steering toward a conservative German palate despite having an adventurous clientele. Young, attractive servers were friendly and somewhat inexperienced; a lot of harmless Fawlty Towers moments gave us the giggles but at this price range you'd expect something a little more professional. No big deal. The wine and cocktail selection is pretty solid, and I'd more readily recommend Parker Bowles for some evening drinks and bar snacks than for a full meal. (Actually the shoestring fries were the one dish we had that was as good as it sounded). read more

Atmosphere is nice but that is probably the only thing that is nice. Food is all but tasty. It is definitely one of these places that benefits from the hype of Berlin by having high prices on the menu, a very well orchestrated PR but that forgot that being a restaurant means actually cooking dishes. Tapas were not good at all: a bunch of salads and tagliatelles that were just not good. The ricotta dessert was a failure. On a good note: beer was pretty good. At least that more or less saved my night. read more

Service was not polite. Food was not even good at all. Just good looking but no quality. You have to pay extra for mayo or ketchup or even honey for a tea. Have been there many times but it got worse. read more

Fabi and Eric's were amazing bartenders. Food was on point ! Must see in Berlin (not sure if Europeans use yelp) :)
