I had my first pool built in Wylie and the process went well. There was an issue with decorative glass tiles being forgotten on the steps but this was corrected after the pool was built and filled. They also damaged my fence but paid to have it repaired. So that experience was good 4+ stars. My second pool was built in Farmers Branch and it's like a whole different experience. My pool has had leaks like crazy. I do have a lifetime warranty on the shell so each time I request a leak check they send someone but they do tell me that if no leak is detected then I will have to pay for the service. Well each time there has been a leak. My skimmers leaked, as did my main drain. Well the skimmer box was fixed and the main drain was "fixed" but in the process they cross treaded the screws that hold the main drain cover in place. So I keep texting their service company and they say they will send someone out (usually no one shows) this has been going on for close to a year. The main drain leak was detected the middle of 2023 and the cover hasn't been fixed since then. In addition my spa grout needed to be replaced after just 2 years this wasn't covered under the shell warranty but the guy who did replace it said it looked like it was very thin (too much water) when it was done so it just dissolved over time. All of my LED pool lights went out and had to be replaced this past year- so they lasted 4 years not sure if that is good or not. But it wasn't cheap to replace them. Overall this experience with this pool has been nothing short of horrible and while I felt I got great service the first time around this time I can't get anyone to fix or follow up on issues. Very disappointing, I had recommend and suggested Hobert to many of my coworkers, friends and neighbors but from now on I will not. Update 6/28/24 They sent someone out and so far (2 weeks of using the robot cleaner but no one has gone swimming yet) the cover has remained on.

We had several contractors out to quote, and our priority…read moreis reliability, quality/expertise, and reasonable pricing (not cheapest but not unreasonable). The did a beautiful job, replacing the coping with travertine, replacing the mini-tile with beautiful tiles that were even standard price, micro-pebble surface, and added autofill, overflow valve, railing and wifi system. Last minute we asked them to also move the pool pump and they brought in a larger team to get that done at the same time! My only negative is 2 minor issues. 1) they didn't notice or check until the resurface was pretty much done that the decorative tile I had picked out and paid for to install on the steps was too big for the shape of the step. So now I don't have it because it was already too late to find something else. 2) The evening before they were going to resurface, I noticed the team had neglected to install the autofill. I called they thanked me for catching it, and had someone come back and install it before the resurfacing was started. So just check periodically, but otherwise they were 99% awesome! I would definitely recommend them.

The work was done in half the time other companies promised despite some weather challenges. They don't contract the work out so I felt comfortable with the team. They also didn't charge an upgrade fee for the higher quality products I wanted. I wanted the upgraded plaster called Stonescapes Small Puerto Rico Blend in Tropics Blue. The results surpassed my expectations.

And when it was re-poured, the concrete was a different color. So now 1 section looks different than the rest. Pool was finished except for the final inspection.
