Jasmine is a spectacular server. The food at Park Cafe is always great, but when the server knows her stuff, engages with guests and makes everyone feel welcome , it makes an evening very special.

Really enjoyed my FIRST ever visit to Park Cafe to take advantage of midweek happy hour. I've been meaning to come here for years but I don't usually come to the busy area unless it's for dinner at the nearby Cafe Nonna. There was an event happening on the patio so the place was very busy for a Wednesday at 5:30. However, we were able to get one for the half booth/tables at the front where it was a little quieter. The happy hour drink specials are really a great deal & the food offerings pretty solid as well. I went with the Hereford beef burger for my main & we shared some hummus & chorizo stuffed wrapped dates. The other members of my party got a pizza & the shrimp & grits. I should have got a photo of the shrimp & grits because it was huge & the presentation was impressive. $4 happy hour yazoo draft was hard to beat. Service was attentive & they let us linger for a lot longer than we should have even though it was busy. Overall I think it's a great place to hang & have conversations with good food & service.

cannot recommend Park Restaurant in Nashville enough! From start to finish, my dining experience was absolutely exceptional. I started with the Cafe Salad, which was fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor--a perfect way to begin the meal. For my entrée, I chose the pork chop dinner, and it was cooked to absolute perfection--juicy, tender, and paired with sides that complemented it beautifully. To top it all off, I indulged in the s'mores bread pudding for dessert, and let me just say, it was a showstopper. The rich, gooey chocolate and marshmallow flavors paired with the warm bread pudding made for an unforgettable ending to an incredible meal. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the attention to detail in every dish was evident. Whether you're a local or just visiting Nashville, Park Restaurant is a must-try. I'll definitely be back!

Good neighborhood restaurant, on the edge of greatness, habituated by locals. The brunch is excellent. Both the Crab Cake Benedict, try it with Grits, and the Park Breakfast, which has lots of flavors, are excellent. Service at the bar was friendly and fast. There is a full bar, and a short but diverse wine list. The cafe style interior is loud.

Nice experience. My group visited this place for lunch. Valet parking is complimentary and the staff were extremely kind. I got there early and they were very accommodating. For the price the portions were great! Would definitely recommend the food. The drinks... not so much. Our Bloody Marys had so much pepper in them it was sitting at the bottom of the glass. We were coughing. We showed the waitress and she kindly replaced them with mimosas. The vibe was really nice and quaint and the outdoor area was really cool. I would definitely go back for the food and customer service!

This is definitely one of my favorite places! I've been here three times with the occasion and experience being unique each time but always great! This last time was by far the best. I am tempted not to share their big secret which is they are now open for Brunch on Saturday and Sunday! I LOVE finding Saturday brunch places because Sunday brunch is always too busy and it can make it not enjoyable. We sat near the window so we didn't have the cold of the outside but the warmth of the sun! There were people enjoying their meal outside including someone with a dog and a baby. The mimosa options were great tasting and a great value! The Creme Brulee French toast was amazing and the Benedict was prepared perfectly. 100% WILL be returning!

My mother in law and I stopped in on a quiet Wednesday afternoon for lunch. Service was great. Got the half chicken with green beans and sweet corn pudding - and split the parm fries with my MIL. Chicken was good, green beans were awesome with this Asian garlic sauce on them and the fries super crispy and flavorful. Sweet corn pudding ended up being a corn muffin - not sweet at all, pretty bland. Would go again and try some other meals.

I had no idea the park cafe was as lively inside as I've passed it so many times. The food was excellent the only reason it's getting a 4/5 is because they were out of alot of stuff. Waitress was amazing, food was spectacular, and the patio area was beautiful with the fire pits. Will definitely be back!

My first experience with Park Cafe last year was excellent, but my experience a few weeks ago was subpar. I think it was a case of a waitress needing more training, so I'm still giving 4 stars. We sat outside on the back patio which was so lovely. We ordered off the happy hour menu (which is available on Fridays) and the drinks were strong and pretty good. Three of us ordered burgers and the waitress never asked how we liked them, so we each got varying degrees. My dad's was completely cooked and mine was mostly pink. We also subbed the fries because we got a plate of fries from the happy hour menu, but we were charged full price for the sides AND didn't get the fries. The waitress also didn't tell us about that, so we were surprised with the bill. Also, she forgot to put in a dish and when we confirmed it wouldn't be on the bill since we didn't receive it, she simply said 'oh yeah, I didn't put that in.' Obviously not a big deal, but I do feel it's customary to apologize when you make a mistake especially at a nicer restaurant. All around, I think this specific waitress probably just needs more training. I will say the hostess was such a gem!

Park Cafe was 100% packed out but the front end staff allowed us to make a reservation about 2 hours in advanced. The hostess went above and beyond when seating us as she gave us an extensive overview of the menu, the history of the restaurant, and highlighted their best wines. When our meal was finished, she came back to genuinely check to see how our experience was and showed gratitude for us joining in their now customer family. I've never experienced sincerity like this at an Eatery. The food: I had the cheese tortellini which presented beautifully in a circular design with evenly spaced out decadents including tomatoes, artichokes, and other veggies. The sauces ratio was perfect as it enriched the flavor of the cheese in the pasta. My wife ate the Pig and Fig pizza which melted in your mouth with every bite. The cheese spread from top to bottom and emboldened the balsamic flavor. This dish is a must have, non negotiable. The Hashbrown casserole has a savory taste with a hint of sweet undertones as the flavor swirls in your mouth with an aftertaste that leaves you begging for more. The roasted Brussels were the biggest miss of the meal as they were dry and desperately needed sauce or cheese to lighten the taste of earthy greens. We tried both desserts: blondie brownie and the chocolate skillet. The brownie is a 10/10 banging dessert with melt in your mouth chocolate paired perfectly with vanilla ice cream. The skillet was a bit much and didn't do it for us. This place is a must visit and will be on our heavy rotation.

Simple but interesting dishes here. Good service and fairly quiet and spacious. Enjoyed the plethora of veggies on my scramble.

It is tucked in a neighborhood in the West End, and most people were surprised we found it or had heard of it as non-locals. It is a very popular spot. We arrived 20 minutes early and snagged the last parking spot in the lot behind the restaurant. Eric R. wanted to sit outside, so we were directed to wait at the bar until a table opened up. I got the cucumber sage yuzu spritz mocktail, and Eric R. got a local amber beer. Our table was ready within 10 or 15 minutes, so we migrated to it for dinner. Our server was helpful in providing recommendations. We started with three shareables: the mussels in lemongrass serrano beer broth and grilled bread, tempura long-stemmed artichokes on Calabrian chile mascarpone, and the lamb lollipops with pearled cous cous. I tasted the lamb, and it was heavenly, like melt-in-your-mouth tender but with a lot of caramelization. That was really Eric R.'s choice so I let him eat the majority of it. I really enjoyed the mussels and the artichokes! Everything was hot and delicious. I was sipping broth with a mussel shell when the bread ran out, and the host came out with more bread for us! It was so good. We asked to see a dessert menu. Eric R. had a tough choice between carrot cake and blondie with caramel ice cream, but was steered toward the blondie and did not regret it. I asked what the house made ice cream was for the day, and it was coconut matcha with a white chocolate shell topping. That sounded so perfect, and it was AMAZING. The evening was beautiful, the restaurant was lovely, the service was fantastic, and the food was delicious! That is the answer!

However, I can't in good conscience do that, because this was a meal we will remember for a long time coming. I found answer just by chance on Resy, and decided to book it because the reviews were positive. We were blown away by the food. We started with the mushroom appetizer- so so delicious. I appreciated that it wasn't overly cheesy, and the leeks actually brought a lot to the dish. Next, we tried the special, which was a Thai curry snapper, and the hot chicken dish. My goodness were we unprepared for just how perfect and delicious these would be. I absolutely couldn't get enough of the peanut slaw paired with the chicken. My fiancé is pretty picky when it comes to fried chicken, and he said this was the 2nd best fried chicken he's ever had. The flavor of the curry was also very interesting- it was pineapple forward but also had a slight kick. Finally, the service was efficient, quick, and so friendly. We were seated right away, and the restaurant was lively but not too loud. I would definitely recommend a reservation, we went on a Thursday night and it was quite busy! However, it seems like they have a decent amount of bar seating available too. We're not local to Nashville, but we will definitely be back one day. Will also be recommending to everyone go try it!!

Despite the hotel setting, it feels a bit more 'for the locals' than lower Broad does these days. So whether you are entertaining out of town guests or want to have drinks Downtown, this just might be the spot you're looking for. I had something to celebrate and I wanted to do so in style. It was mid-spring and the weather was perfect so I wanted to take advantage of the short window. I took a ride share to the hotel bc ain't no one got time for Downtown parking rates and bee-lined it to the Lou/Na elevator at the back of the lobby. Once I hit the rooftop, my Friday night began. The atmosphere is every bit as dark, moody (in a good way) and smartly-illuminated as expected. Since I was here for views and good weather, I asked the hostess for an outdoor table. She obliged and I was soon perched along the edge of the roof, staring into the twinkling lights of our ever-expanding skyline. It was well-past the dinner hour and I was craving something sweet. After chatting with my helpful server, I decided on the creme brulee and an espresso martini. Both were excellent. The brulee had a perfect crust and delectable custard that paired well with the martini that veered closer to dry than sweet. I appreciated that. It showed effort went into making the cocktail. I was in my own head so I minded my business and didn't do too much people watching. Despite the time of year and good weather, the roof wasn't too packed. It wasn't empty but it wasn't bustling. That was fine by me but I'm sure the management would disagree. I would point out that Lou/Na has gotten even more popular since when I visited so I'm confident that the crowd on good weather nights has increased. If that's your thing, head over on a Friday. If not, check it out during the week. But if well-made cocktails in a beautiful environment outside the madness of Lower Broad but still Downtown is on your radar, you know where you need to go and what to do. Lou/Na should be in your rotation.
