Park Bistro is such a gem! It's located in an old cottage close to UL and provides a cozy setting for date night or a small group. The porch and patio are lovely in nice weather. The service is attentive and helpful. The cocktail program is creative and seasonal. The wine list is short but thoughtful. Park Bistro greater than the sum of its parts, by which I mean I often look at them menu and think "meh," but then I'm blown away by whatever I order. The quality and flawless execution of each dish really set this place apart. On a recent visit, we had the chips and dip which was caviar with dill and chive crème fraiche and house made potato chips. It was like the best sour cream and onion dip you've ever tasted, elevated with caviar. Our entrees were chicken Kiev and lasagna, and both were perfect. No room for dessert but we need to try for it next time!

The picture is the Sausage, egg& cheese sandwich. Our server Le was helpful, courteous and fantastic I highly recommend this restaurant.

Highly recommend this restaurant, ask for Le, she is very knowledgeable, helpful and checks-in frequently.

We ate outside the ambiance was perfect and food was farm to table fresh. Great place to go to with friends or date night!

Bringing a new vibe to Lafayette! Honestly, didn't know what to expect. I hadn't looked at the menu before being invited to join some friends for brunch. I was visiting from out of state, but I knew this was an up-and-coming spot in Lafayette. The Risotto Balls are KILLER! MUST GET! Black Eye Pea Toast was incredibly difficult to eat. The plank is useless, but I understand the aesthetic. Flavor was a "meh" but everyone else's entrees looked delightful! I'd go back, but definitely for their dinner offerings instead of brunch.

Brunch Sunday The restaurant itself is small and quaint but fit our party of 12 nicely. They also have a nice porch for dining. Waitress/staff were great! Our waitress was super sweet and accommodating. We got a few appetizers: Chicken biscuits- really good with a small kick. I like these the best of all the apps. The biscuit was the highlight of this dish! Asparagus bisque- I didn't try this but those that did seem to think it was really good but both noted the asparagus taste is strong so be sure you like asparagus if you order this! Crispy shrimp- also really good. Unexpected flavor but in a delicious way! Risotto Balls- yummy! Not my fav but still yummy! Crispy Potatoes- I thought these were average is a good way. I found the sauce bland but my husband loved the sauce. Entrees: Chicken and biscuits- It was okay but nothing special. Both the chicken and the waffles were a tiny bit bland. That being said my husband ate it all. Flatiron Steak and eggs- soooooo good! The steak was amazing! breakfast gnocchi- when I asked my sister how it was she said "not that good". That's all the detail I got from her. Caesar salad- service was top notch when my nephew asked for the kitchen to cut his salad up. When I asked him how it was he said "it's really good". Overall 5 stars because we didn't have anything bad and overall enjoyed the restaurants service and food for our special occasion brunch!

Cute pocket restaurant, with a good array of menu options. Service was prompt and friendly! I got the salmon and it was delicious, the Kiev was an interesting dish! Finished off with the flourless cake Loved all the displayed art on the walls. Outdoor dining was on a nice large porch! Upon arrival not many ppl there, but it quickly filled up and a lot of guests had reservations

My wife and I were very excited to try Park Bistro due to all of the great reviews. While the food was pretty good, it definitely was not worth the price. We shared two appetizers and an entree and our total was close to $60 and we left hungry. While the atmosphere and service were both very good, I don't think we will be back.

This location has been home to several different restaurants over the years, but this was my first time trying it as Park Bistro. Certainly didn't disappoint! We came with a party of 6 for a friend's birthday during the holidays season. The outside waiting area and patio are very inviting - I booked for inside space as we didn't know what the weather would do, tho there were people dining on the patio that evening. We started out with the roasted beets (meh...but but difficult for me to say since I'm not a fan of beets anyway) and the risotto balls (fabulous!). Entrees at our table included the flatiron steak (a bit too far toward rare on the medium-rare spectrum), the ricotta gnocchi (no complaints heard), the Nashville hot shrimp burger (think crab cake burger, just other shrimp), and the eggplant lasagna. Everything looked good, but the eggplant lasagna was really out of this world. Finished it off with the Lemon Bomb for dessert. Our server was new to the gig and still figuring things out. Everyone at our table had water with dinner, but it never got refilled after the initial service. Overall, it's a nice addition to the area, giving locals somewhere for evening dining just around the corner from Olde Tyme Grocery.

Had the opportunity to grub here for lunch with the work crew. We ordered various menu items and all were excellent. The atmosphere was comfortable, and they had no problem accommodating our reservation (lunch). Waitress was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I highly recommend this establishment.

So they drove me around downtown and we settled on Legends. The Bartender knew my friends from the time he spent working at a bar called the Caboose, and had him make us something called a Hurricane Dennis! I'm not sure what it was. But I was feeling great after the first one, even better after the second, shouldn't have got a third, but what the hell, I'm on vacation, right? The Internet Juke Box is a little suspect. I put ten dollars in it and never heard a single song I played and we pretty much stayed till closing time. I went to go check it out and it said it was playing one of my songs, but the song playing was definitely not my song. But it's whatever I guess, if I were a local I would've known better.

The drink special on Sunday was half off well drinks and $6 bloody Mary's. The burgers were phenomenal also. We're talking half pound patty's here. They come with chips also but you don't really need fries unless you're a big eater. The covered outdoor seating area is nice also. They have fans and TV's outside so you can watch your game out there if they are packed inside or just don't want a very air conditioned space.
