My Wife and I have visited twice. Unfortunately, I do not have photos from our dinner visit but I do from our brunch experience. I am not sure if they offer brunch any longer. I couldn't find the menu on their website. However, when I Google search Park Bistro Brunch Menu it brought me to their site and a brunch menu appeared. When we visited for dinner we got the Crispy Shrimp, Chicken Nuggets, Nashville Hot Shrimp Burger and Potato Gnocchi w/Bolognese. Crispy Shrimp - 9.0 Very good, would definitely suggest trying an order. Has to be their top or one of their top seller. Chicken Nuggets - 8.7 I do not currently see them listed on their Dinner or Friday Lunch menu. They were definitely worth ordering. It was fun having a homemade chicken nugget at a nice restaurant. Hot Shrimp Burger - 9.2 Very, very good. The aioli and pickles are so good with the shrimp and spice. Would definitely get again however, I plan on trying a new dish next time. Potato Gnocchi w/Bolognese - 9.1 This is what my Wife ordered and she said it was very yummy. Which, I tried some and she was right! If we went back it would be hard for her to stray away from ordering this. For our brunch visit we had Cheddar Biscuits, Crispy Shrimp, Chicken & Waffles, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Whipped Ricotta Toast. Cheddar Biscuits - 8.2 During our visit the biscuits taste good however, were a little dense and lacked cheddar. Crispy Shrimp - See Above Chicken & Waffles - 8.5 They were good, the chicken was juicy and had good flavor. Don't know if we would order again. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - 9.1 Aside from the shrimp, it was the best thing we ordered. The pancakes were fluffy and all of the flavors of the contributing aspects of the dish were delicious. The pancakes were accompanied by Blueberry Compote, Maple Mascarpone and Candied Pecans. Whipped Ricotta Toast - 8.6 All of the components of this dish played well together. Not sure if we would order again, but definitely worth trying once. read more

FOOD: the food was overall delicious! I would recommend the risotto balls as an appetizer. They are made with basil I believe, so they have a bright green color! Everything was overall super tasty, however I was not a big fan of the beets but that was just a personal preference! SERVICE: the service was outstanding, and the waitress was super nice. We came during Valentine's Day and everyone was dressed in pink and Valentines themed outfits which was really fun, and she helped us pick items from the and recommended some options! AMBIANCE: the inside was super homie and quite small but not restricting. The inside was decorated for Valentine's Day with pretty roses on the table as well as on the bar. Really loved this spot! I like the setting in a little old house that makes it feel more special, like a hole in the wall find. The food is really great. We got the arancini app which was so delicious. I got a special for my meal which was pappardelle with mushroom bolognese and burrata. It was absolutely delicious, I'm no vegetarian but I wasn't missing the beef in the bolognese bc they made it so flavorful yet it wasn't as rich as your average bolognese. I didn't have a cocktail but they looked tasty. Our server Mandy was so sweet and helped when we asked for recommendations. Park Bistro is such a gem! It's located in an old cottage close to UL and provides a cozy setting for date night or a small group. The porch and patio are lovely in nice weather. The service is attentive and helpful. The cocktail program is creative and seasonal. The wine list is short but thoughtful. Park Bistro greater than the sum of its parts, by which I mean I often look at them menu and think "meh," but then I'm blown away by whatever I order. The quality and flawless execution of each dish really set this place apart. On a recent visit, we had the chips and dip which was caviar with dill and chive crème fraiche and house made potato chips. I was visiting from out of state, but I knew this was an up-and-coming spot in Lafayette. The Risotto Balls are KILLER! MUST GET! Black Eye Pea Toast was incredibly difficult to eat. Brunch Sunday The restaurant itself is small and quaint but fit our party of 12 nicely. They also have a nice porch for dining. Waitress/staff were great! Our waitress was super sweet and accommodating. We got a few appetizers: Chicken biscuits- really good with a small kick. I like these the best of all the apps. Asparagus bisque- I didn't try this but those that did seem to think it was really good but both noted the asparagus taste is strong so be sure you like asparagus if you order this! Crispy shrimp- also really good. Unexpected flavor but in a delicious way! Risotto Balls- yummy! Not my fav but still yummy! Crispy Potatoes- I thought these were average is a good way. I found the sauce bland but my husband loved the sauce. Entrees: Chicken and biscuits- It was okay but nothing special. Both the chicken and the waffles were a tiny bit bland. This location has been home to several different restaurants over the years, but this was my first time trying it as Park Bistro. Certainly didn't disappoint! We came with a party of 6 for a friend's birthday during the holidays season. The outside waiting area and patio are very inviting - I booked for inside space as we didn't know what the weather would do, tho there were people dining on the patio that evening. We started out with the roasted beets (meh...but but difficult for me to say since I'm not a fan of beets anyway) and the risotto balls (fabulous!). Entrees at our table included the flatiron steak (a bit too far toward rare on the medium-rare spectrum), the ricotta gnocchi (no complaints heard), the Nashville hot shrimp burger (think crab cake burger, just other shrimp), and the eggplant lasagna. Everything looked good, but the eggplant lasagna was really out of this world. Finished it off with the Lemon Bomb for dessert. Our server was new to the gig and still figuring things out. Everyone at our table had water with dinner, but it never got refilled after the initial service. There were six of us having brunch. We were seated quickly. Everyone's food but mine was great. Apparently the pancakes are a party in your mouth. :). The shrimp and gnocchi was a disappointment. Great gnocchi but the shrimp were skimpy and had no taste. The sauce was awful. It tasted like cornstarch and water. The butternut squash in the dish was barely cooked. Service was average. At the time that I stopped in, they had just decorated for the restaurant for Halloween which gave some spooky fun vibes. My husband ordered the BLT. The sauces are created by the chef and they're appealing to the eyes with bright colors and tasty with distinct Flavors but do be prepared for very messy fingers! I'd recommend switching slice toast to a bun for the grilled chicken since by the time I got to the second half of my sandwich the bread was soaked in the buttery sauce. My husband got crusty potatoes and they're delicious! I chose Brussel sprouts instead for a healthier option but they arrived SOAKED in what appeared to be cooking oil & falling off of the saucer everywhere. They tasted like grease so I didn't eat them. The total was $50 plus tip so we walked out dropping $70 for lunch which I feel is a little steep for lunch for 2! Yes I recommend but might be better for dinner than lunch. I also would recommend requesting sauces be put on the side for sandwich orders to go or if you're watching your diet since the bright orange sauce fell out in clumps from my sandwich when I bit into it! The roasted salmon was perfectly cooked, moist and delicious, topped with melted leeks and on top of roasted onion risotto with mushrooms. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the melted leeks, but they were soft, silky and amazing. Very nice size portion. My husband opted for butternut squash soup and carpaccio, and then finished my salmon. Small but nice and affordable wine selection. Flourless chocolate tart topped off a great dinner. The menu has plenty of options for starters, entrees and sides, and offers options for vegetarian, etc. The atmosphere is casual but elevated and great for a date night.
